I'd think a professional would be a better place to voice your problems and vent for positive reactions, rather than the status bar of an RP forum. But that's just me.

[@neurovoid] That article looks incredibly biased for one agenda. There are various articles that list differences in neural wiring and anatomy. Not to mention hormones from gender-specific organs

Name: Archivald Bel
Age: 62 (looks mid-twenties)
Attire/Appearance:

Not visible in the picture is that he has a tail of about 5 feet. It resembles a lizard tail and is usually coiled.
Race: Half demon
Gender: Male
Occupation: First elder’s right hand, Warlock
Location: North end

A Brief History:
Half demons were a race that came into existence as a small number of humans fled the gods, heading into the netherworld. However, here they were not treated any better by the locals than the gods did to the other humans. These humans were nothing more than pets to the demons. This, however, did not stop the conception of the half demons. Although their kind was not shunned by the demons, they were often ridiculed. However, there have been many half demons that have proven themselves worthy of their abyssal heritage and proudly walked among their demonic brethren.

Archivald was around thirty when he came to the city of Enigma. Half demons weren’t abnormal in this city, albeit a rarity. But what was really peculiar about Archivald was that he came to the city from the outside world. Being the good, upstanding prospective citizen he was, he went and offered his services. But he didn’t just offer them to anyone, he only wanted to offer them directly to the elders. They accepted to hear him out, be it curious or reluctantly, and ended up giving the warlock a chance to show what he was able to do. The elders had caught wind of a small resistance movement starting somewhere in the southern end. Archivald did not only quickly trace them, he led a force of the elders’ soldiers to quickly and decisively dispatch of them as well. The soldiers shared stories of awe and disbelief about Archivalds cruel dark arts for years afterward.

The display landed him a high position among the defenders of the hierarchy. However, this wasn’t enough for Archivald. His displays became even crueler. He challenged his superiors to duels for their position. His actions quickly led him upward, and eventually he was offered a position by the first elder’s side himself. Maybe he had truly seen the man’s potential, or maybe he just wanted to stop his cruel way of advancement quickly. This is a position he has held for many years now. However, who says that Archivald’s advancement stops here? The position of first elder looks remarkably interesting.

Other: Half demons have distinguishing characteristics based on their demonic ancestor(s), which includes looks and lifespan
@RomanAria march 9th :P
Cool! So with that we have four people. I will write up a starting post soon. The opening situation will probably be something and somewhere where most characters can meet eachother. As I have stated before, although I won't force characters to join up and stick together I at least want all PCs to know of eachother's existance.

Because I have some business coming up (interview for an internship, my birthday, ect), it may take a few days. Expect a first post around Friday or Saturday ^^

Also, everyone who is interested; even though it's starting, applications are still open :)
@Empath Not a problem ^^ Take your time.
@Melo So should i make another enigma character to provide entertainment? >:D

Refused :P
Interesting :D though as someone actually from Britain - the most supernatural part of this whole setting is our governemnt quarantining or arranging ANYTHING within half a year, much less overnight :D And even then all the quarantine soldiers would have to receive a 4 hour health and safety briefing during which everyone and their mothers could escape :D Oh and no quarantine at night, because it's dangerous due to low visibility and health & safety does not allow that :D :D :D

I try to make it realistic on some fronts... but you can't ask me to do the impossible cree :P
Well, that's three. I will probably wait for at least one more before I start things off ^^ Four sounds like a good minimum amount.

Applications will stay open even after that, though.
Because of the nature of seles's fighting style im kinda hoping someone can post before me >.>
And Julius is... well... a bit of an arse :P

Jules thought those last words were what he wanted to hear. However, for some reason they stung more than her entire monologue. He hadn't wanted this to end as bitter as it did. He felt like a fool. He hated it when he snapped like that. He hated the feeling of losing control. What he said may have been how he felt, but that didn't mean he wanted her to know that. It went against what Julius was, or at least how he wanted to appear: A man that always knew what he was doing, always in control and indominitable. But something about Addy just did that to Julius. He wasn't really mad at her, he was just... frustrated. Even though she wasn't showing it directly, he knew he must've hurt her at least a little. There would've been many different occasions, many different people, that would've allowed Julius to feel pride of having done that. But not this time. Julius had tried to ensure that they, or at least he, could enjoy the rest of their time on this boat. But Julius had failed, and failure is something that Julius couldn't stomach. He couldn't even bring himself to be curious at what she really wanted to say, the part that she cut off. Instead he gave a simple, solemn nod and turned to fetch his book before leaving the library. Inside Julius's head were thunderstorms. Why couldn't he just be happy that she'd probably leave him alone for the rest of this goddamn week? That's what he really wanted, wasn't it? Was it really?

Julius's inner hurricane was momentarily disrupted by the buzzing of his phone. It was then that he had realised he had been walking for a few minutes straight, away from the library, without any real plan. God, he wondered how many people he had frightened with that sour face of his. Not that he truly cared. He grabbed his phone from his pocket, finding the text from Jareth: “Hunts and I are heading out to grab some pizza and hit up that Challengers Arcade. You and I got a date with the DDR machine" Honestly, he wasn't really sure if he wanted to, but if anyone would help him cheer up it'd be them. Not to mention, he hadn't had breakfast yet. "I'll be right there" He texted back.

As Julius made his way five floors down, his thoughts continued to linger on the prior conversation. The entire situation still just left him so uncomfortable, but what was he to do? He just had to accept it and move on, right? He assumed that, after this ordeal, Addy would be pretty much done with him anyway. There was no other option, so what was the point in thinking about it any further?
He finally arrived at a pizza place called Sorrento's. Weird, he remembered having some pretty awful pizza in Sorrento. Rome was definitely the place to be for good pizza! What did it matter, anyway. He stepped inside, scanning the room for his friends. He found them without too much effort. He made a grin "You guys always know exactly what I need, don't you? I just had an argument with my ex and... " he fell silent for a second, his grin made way for a sigh "Wasn't pretty." He then ordered the largest, meatiest abomination available. A Welcome, and much needed, treat, definitely.
