House is def the best option and independent Vegas is basically like the rest of the Wasteland, I take it.

and my disappointment in the DLC is because they feel too goofy to me, even by over the top Fallout standards. Plus it feels like they never end.

Lonesome Road and Dead Money were the exact opposite of goofy to me, they were pretty damn stressful, the other two are kind of silly but Big MT (Old World Blues) does it in a good way with eccentric characters, where-as Honest Hearts seems sort of off, considering the character it involves.
New Vegas does have some questionable DLC, Big MT was pretty cool and I enjoyed the overall vibe and the climax of your personal story in the Lonesome Road, though the actual slog through all that territory was a pain.
So Khan, did I scare you off with my advanced poke-man-ship?
I'm sure you can hear him coming anyway.

That's exactly why I ask, there was really no reason to bullshit the ability to sense magic (which is an incredibly powerful ability if you consider it from a combat stand-point, hence why I'd have expected it listed in the CS) because Judgement isn't trying to hide, that's not his style.
I was using the handle in 2002, which predates the youtube one by a few years I believe.

It is a weird coincidence though, from a cursory glance at what the Youtube dude does it seems like you have very similar interests. Also, Skallagrim is hardly an ordinary name, it's Old Norse or something isn't it?
Posted! Ye gods I was way too distracted, sorry fellas.

I wasn't aware your character had the ability to sense magic being used and the type of magic?
“What insolence is this? To even try to reach the halls of those who stand as your betters by such a significant divide that you are like an ant standing before a mountain? You stand not as a threat that must be destroyed for the good of the collective, oh no, I am indulging in my own desire to destroy you now and to send a message that will not soon be forgotten.”

Azakanealina’Kaelin, the Sculptor, member of the universe spanning collective of Ascended, individuals with the power to manipulate the energy of a private solar system, masters of Antireen control, appeared on Earth as his form materialized out of pure energy. The snow around him was sucked into his materializing body alongside the ice beneath, changing as it bent to the will of the Sculptor. Slowly his chosen Avatar formed, a rocky humanoid appearance of a man’s upper body, save for four arms and the lack of legs which forced the figure to float a couple feet off the ground.

Kaelin had appeared less than twenty feet behind the upstart he wished to destroy, his opening tirade seemingly voiced from all around the Draconic creature before he appeared. The rocky form was imposing, but it lacked the pure bestial nature Viscerous seemed to have taken. However, contained within the Sculptor was a cruel intelligence, and an abundance of ability.
It was on QI, Jo Brand actually knew what it meant because she speaks ze Germans.
The energy disc hurtled past Kanitah and dissipated, but Fury had already relinquished his control over the attack, his charge was the next move.

Kanitah was indeed fast, but with such scant distance between them jumping into the air and spinning was asking for death. Fury immediately caught on to Kanitah’s intention to carry out another of his super jumps, and reacted nearly as fast as he charged forward. He bounced off the ground with his right foot, energy easily propelling him through the air on a collision course with Kanitah, who although certainly strong couldn’t actually fly in a literal sense. Fury could hurtle himself through the air at speeds up to 150mph, and he used that now to catch up with the jumping man. Kanitah could have conceivably outpaced him with his incredibly strength, but he hadn’t tried to jump into the atmosphere, he was trying to spin round and remain within a realistic throwing range.

Because of this, Fury was almost sure to barrel into him just as he completed his revolution, rendering the rock throw pointless as the Fireen slammed his right elbow up and into Kanitah’s head or body, depending on what was convenient considering the strange movements the other man was attempting.
I'll be posting soon.
