This is why I avoid jumping in the air, unless you're character has a Smash Brothers double jump or you can fly.

Personally I'd use a certain foot implement to radically change direction, but that's up to DJ The Magnificent.

Mmhmm, you always were a fan of impossible last second rocket-boot dodges.

@MelonHeadHow about the Hallowed Halls or the Broken Dojo? Seems appropriate for them.

Adrian prefers the forest, but the Hallowed Halls should serve just fine. You want to set up the thread or shall I? Whoever does can start with their intro.
Did you just turn Skallagrim into furniture?

If he did he prefers his new form, that's one happy skeleton chair.

If I was melon, I'd just power through with his own attack and accept the damage.

EDIT: You know how there was a little "thigh gap" craze where women's thighs aren't supposed to touch as part of some attractive related thing? Well, Listia having a thigh gap may cost her life if it allows his sword easy access. Take that, unrealistic beauty standards!

I'm having trouble actually visualising Khan's attack, surely he doesn't mean to bring his sword up between your character's legs? That would be insanely easy to avoid at this level, you only have to turn your body sideways.
@MelonHead So does that mean my close range attack missed? Itsuki was down on the floor and past Judgement already with her attack.

My character interrupted that attack, his sword strike was conducted as your character was falling to the ground.

Judgement swings, Itsuki jumps high enough into the air to avoid a sword strike at mid-height, she falls at the normal speed of a human falling (there isn't much you can do to adjust how quickly you can fall in this circumstance) Judgement being superhuman is holding a piece of metal that weighs a minute amount to him, and can easily draw his blade back to threaten Itsuki before she even hits the ground, which is what happened.

You'll have to decide what to do about the immediate threat before you can launch your ground attack, because you haven't hit the ground unmolested yet.

Ah, but remember, in Athinar's high-powered form, he could close the gap fairly quickly.

And yeah, swordfight sounds epic. Lets do that. And I'm fine with the adamant katana not being able to cut through the sword, and the Blade of the Void at low-powered wouldn't be able to cut through his dagger or his sword, although he could cut through most anything else (the scenery, his neck, his armor, etc.) However, as Athinar would be equivalent to a normal human (albeit an extremely physically fit one) in low-powered form, he'd have to actually hit Adrian first.

Cool, I'll use Adrian then. Want me to set the scene?
His opponent was indeed fast, more agile than the giant in armour at any rate as his sword whistled under her jumping form. However, she kept sacrificing her formidable advantage with acrobatics that may have worried a less experienced warrior, but not Judgement. Her speed was limited now, limited to what gravity could provide in dragging her to the ground after she hopped clean over a mid-height sword slash. Judgement could exploit this.

Due to his sword being double edged, unlike those of his foe, he did not have to waste precious time reversing his sword on the return slash, stopping his sword’s momentum dead, he sent it back the way it came from right to left. His left leg came back somewhat as he did this so his right side could turn to add additional force instead. It didn’t look attractive, but it was brutally effective.

Now his nimble foe was forced with a dilemma, she would be caught just before she hit the ground with the edge of a Holy Greatsword cleaving through her waist and up through her abdomen at an angle, unless she was willing to finally contend the brute strength and defend herself with her swords.
Also I think Rilla might be broken.

Ah, don't worry, I won't change his power level mid-fight. Athinar is technically immortal, so he views his physical form as a puppet in a play. He won't care if one form dies, he can always create another one later. But thanks for the suggestion!

Also, maybe Adrian at Low-Powered, or the Clockwork Man at High-Powered for a matchup idea?

I don't know how much you'd enjoy fighting the Clockwork Man at high-powered in your own high-powered form, it would be highly unlikely that he would engage in melee, as he has the ability to deduce your character's weapons and other capabilities fairly quickly he would just run circles around you throwing grenades and shooting his little pistol.

I'd be up for a sword-fight with Adrian, as long as we agree now that your Katana can't cut straight through his sword.
So far the NoW field looks balanced even though some (Melon) will complain, but if he didn't we'd know someone hacked his account. All characters thus far have been compared to a baseline character. Some a smidge over, some a smidge under but everyone can beat everyone else and that is parity.

Yep, that is how you'll be able to tell.
