Well, there we go then. It was a good run everyone, let's pack up and go home.
@Fallenreaper Infiltrating the CDC is definitely something Lekh is suited for.
Tantalum's been AWOL for a year, are they coming back then?

Thought you might but had to check, mainly as I know you have a lot on your plate between those three. I'll send you the PM details ASAP, involving my two, details and more. In the meantime, ANYONE that wants get in on this Please speak up and let me know in the OoC. Namely so I can account for your PC's involvement as while I like winging it, I do like making sure I involved all those interested and not leave anyone out that wanted to be apart of this. It's not a fun feeling after all and I hate for that to happen to anyone because I didn't realize they weren't involved.

It would wholly depend on when you plan to set up this jail break and how quickly me and Nexus can sort out Lekh's intro, but if things work out I'd be interested in throwing him into this. It would fit story wise as well, the question is if I can get the particulars sorted and get Lekh into the present day in time.
The multiverse is basically the vague concept that every place described in Arena character's backstories and all the events that transpire in Arena all happen in different but connected universes. One such connection is the Nexus of Worlds, another is the Conjuncture (which is similar to LeeRoy's reiteration of the Multiverse.) A lot of fighting just takes place on Earth, because plenty of characters share that Universe, but some characters need some sciency-magicky-storyteleportation to get into fights, and the Nexus or the Conjuncture provides it.

That being said, only Arena universes are connected by these things, but if someone were to enter the site with pre-established story they can have their characters 'enter' the RPG connected universes (Multiverse) as if they were entering a whole new dimension, which in a sense they are, as absolutely everything is new to them. They don't even particularly need to utilize the pre-established multiverse tools to do it, they can just get caught up in an accident, thrown into a black hole, w/e. If all the universes of the Arena are connected, it's not that much of a stretch to imagine that the multiverses of all sites are connected, just so long as the people behind the story are.
'The downside is that we keep our characters in a certain timeline, and we cross over into other places. Having some duplicate over in that world doesn't help with that or push us forward in terms of story.'

@Enki

Well, there's no particular reason why the Arena multiverse can't be part of your character's timeline, no matter how expansive the universes of the Arena are they don't span into other sites, so your characters have essentially punched a hole into another dimension of dimensions to look around. Which is really hard to think about.
Just some quick fire questions.

1. Tier limits, going to have them? There's pros and cons for both sides.

2. Arena rules going to apply, have to agree to fights and organise events before-hand in order to ensure only agreed upon fights occur?

3. Progression elements?

4. Any and all character types allowed?

5. Any judging required or is the entire thing working on rule of cool etc?

6. Who's going to run everything? How many people etc.

7. Factions? How they going to work etc.

8. Will there be an inexplicable tavern for all the cool kids to meet in the corners of?

9. Will that tavern hop around the world allowing everyone in?

10. Any end goal or is it just a case of dicking about with characters without having to fight all the time? The good thing about multiverses I find is that it allows for a lot of background fluff armies and battles, which are cool filler.

That's it for the moment.

Well like I said before, as long as our established group can claim some territory to form a base it would be cool to duke it out to annex all of it eventually under the Shinra umbrella!

Haha, that would be pretty interesting. If anything inspires the Arena denizens (IC) it's xenophobia, we tend to be at our best when banding together to destroy foreign threats.

Only we get to kill eachother, get outta here!

Although the world seems separated, there's nothing stopping Shinra being caught up in the mass-relocation as they stumble into Arena controlled space.
@LeeRoy You forgot the unofficial unelected unimpeachable El presidente of the Arena, the man with no keyboard and a tiny child... Rilla.
