Gigue would be right next to him, his left knee about half a foot away from Sigurd's side and in line with his chest. And yeah, it's a bit confusing, but Gigue has his left side turned towards Sigurd, not his back - however, the positioning is such, that his back will be what Sigurd is seeing. Its as if two people were laying down next to each other, and one sat up - the other will see their back.

Alrighty
I was a bit confused a to what exactly i should describe, and since it isn't of utmost relevance, i didn't go into detail. At this point, it's already assumed that Gigue is going to tough out spikes of pain and then collapse right after the half minute mark is reached.

Actually I've had a re-read and you haven't ignored the blade as much as I thought. I mean, the pain of the move Gigue just pulled would be pretty terrible, but if we're just saying adrenaline and experience is blocking most of it out then I suppose it doesn't matter.

So to clarify, Gigue pushed off Sigurd's left shoulder even as he started to move, and then spun so that he landed on Sigurd's right (how far down? In line with his knees) with his back roughly to him? I'm not entirely sure what you mean about Sigurd retrieving his weapon, as the hilt would be on the other side of Gigue and barely even visible it wouldn't be all that realistic.
Aye. It's not like he's hopping around on it.

Well, his move did seem somewhat reliant upon him landing on one knee. I'm not saying he would necessarily fall over, but the fact that it never even comes up in your post is a little strange? I didn't think Gigue was -that- badass.
Elemental mastery is still pretty limited in comparison to specialization in three schools of magic, though I'm not entirely sure your definition of specialization gives one the whole picture, as he evidently had some skill in the schools he was not specialized in, in the fight I watched. Regardless, if you could point out all these elemental masters you can see I'll happily see how they scale to Corban, methinks not so well.

Come now Divinity, if you can't see the difference between Corban and a 'tank who can take a punch' there's a serious issue here. However, even if there's an abundance of these powered individuals you're talking about, I doubt many masquerade as a T6/T7 and suggest they're not all that powerful. The ones that do I've already accounted for.

Like I said, Corban is not the most overpowered character I've seen (for the tier he seems to sit at) but he's none-the-less one of the most. I'm not judging him based off his overall damage potential, there are obviously higher tiered characters than him in RPG, it's just the level he seems to be entered in comparison to his abilities that are problematic.

And just so you know I'm objective about it, I would say my own character Fury is a close fourth place for most overpowered compared to his tier-level. His main weakness is his endurance, a weakness that few people know how to exploit (or have indeed tried.) so for all intents and purposes he is near unstoppable. Though he would still fare hilariously badly against a character as flexible as Corban.
@Vordak Your character has a sword stuck in his left leg.
I wouldn't call Corban OP by any measure. He may register as high tier in several places like RPG, but outright OP comes off as a bit of an overstatement. At least when compared to other characters who I believe are around the same level anyway

Edit: I'm actually not really sure where this idea that Corban is some OP golding comes from. He's done far less in his time here than would warrant this idea. Scrolling through sheets, I see outright city-busters o.o

You forget that I watched your Dazsos fight. You literally used the excuse that it says in his sheet that he likes certain schools of magic to pull out every single spell that falls under those brackets and have your character cast them at whim. The sheer flexibility of your character (who does not fall into one, two or even three archetypes for powers, but encompasses essentially all forms of magic and to some degree psionics as well.) makes it exceptionally unlikely that any character even at his 'level' could stand against him, as he has a magical answer to anything an opponent can raise and an immediate one at that. Literally the only weakness I can discern is perhaps against non-magical opponents and his lack of durability, but the first is questionable and the second is inconsequential when he can protect himself with magic instantaneously.

OP'ness is measured by a lack of weakness and an abundance of strengths, Corban is possibly the third most skewed character in that regard I've ever seen under the T8 mark.

Mmmm if he's bringing Corban I might bring something else. Or I could just hang out in the bar drinking panda brew as Jen.

That's the novelty of a continuous world, no other character's power really matters because they can't force you to fight them. Plus, as OP as Corban is he doesn't seem like the type to seek out fights for no reason, so unless you're wanton murdering people you'd probably never interact in a hostile manner.

Still, hanging out at the Panda-Bar is a perfectly reasonable course of action. The bar is specifically shaped like an octagon so there's plenty of corners for people to brood in.
@MelonHead You are accepted by the way.

Okay
I've been brainstorming ideas for this current arc, and begun work on both the post for @Melonhead and @Fallenreaper, as well as a War-Pulse post so he can share his intel with everyone present.

Cool, looking forward to it.
