@LeeRoy By the way, been meaning to tell you but keep forgetting, but Liu's tavern is called Chen's tavern, not Shen.
The point is its all layed out, there is a maximum level. I might have forgot to add in the extra concentration to move it that fast. Oh I can tone down the speed!

But it's all still within the ruleset.

Also wouldn't want a cook who can cook that fast and get people their shit out to them instantly? Make a fortune melon come on! You got the booze I got the noodles.

Yeah, but you can't send a bowl of noodles to the table, only the noodles. What I don't understand is why you couldn't make the character a reasonable power level. Was it really necessary to have diamond hardness noodles flying at 10% the speed of light? How do you expect any of the characters here to fight that? Who would even want to?

I wish more people would make characters fit for purpose. This is still an RP after all, regardless of its combativeness. You don't enter an adventuring party with the God of Hellfire, so why just because this is Arena do you need railgun spaghetti? You could have made a spaghetti-mancer who could twine the spaghetti like rope and whip it around at a fairly decent speed, say 100mph, and have a reasonable chance against most of the characters here. Why do you need so much power? Are all of you ShinRa guys compensating for something? It saddens me.

The character will be accepted, because it is within the boundaries of T8 (although the rail-gun aspect of the spaghetti is really pushing it, depending on how much spaghetti you can launch) but I still don't understand why it's necessary.
30,000 mp/s diamond spaghetti, mmkay, that's not getting accepted.

I was with you until you spat in the face of a true spaghettimancer by just masquerading as such, when really you were entering a super rail-gun.
You must have hated that pinch gripping phones over drops and slots in elevators trend that went through social media a while back.

I have two pretty random phobias, I'm afraid of large flightless birds, AKA Ostriches and Emus, and I have a deep foreboding of Shipwrecks, particularly underwater.
@Fallenreaper Lekh is for all intents and purposes working for the Cowl (by proxy) now, so if there's an important plot point send it through Nexus and he can feed it to me. For example, you want the Cowl to discover Racheli's location and when she's to be transported, let Nexus know and he can PM the message his character sends Lekh, then I can work with it from there.

Seems unnecessarily complicated, but it's the easiest way for me to work with the situation, as I don't know exactly when and where Lekh is getting involved in things and I'm happy to play the part of a loyal servant.

For now

<Snipped quote by DragQueen>

I remember that post from the old arena. Dragqueen got real mad at you. He joined the RP since he was my friend, but he got mad once he realized that he wasn't in the same weight class as you and I. Love Drag to death, but he got real salty real fast. He got salty at both you and @GreivousKhan for no good reason.

Good times.

I think the old Arena was literally cursed, because that was countless hours of arguments.

Drag was right but also so wrong. Fury is Overpowered, but it's not like I've ever disguised that fact. Plus he completely earned his character getting pulverized, I realised immediately he was too weak and had Fury fly away (as he's like to do anyway.) and for some reason he followed Fury, then finally realised he was outclassed and started complaining. He literally chased him into another dimension without once thinking 'can I actually beat this guy?'

Still, it's clear that I've upset you while trying to help, which pretty neatly sums up the story of my life, so I will depart with an apology and hope everything works out. History has taught me it never does, but I'm ever hopeful.
@MelonHeadGood lord.

If my sheet isn't accepted, it's not accepted, the one who's really taking the enjoyment out of this for me isn't LeeRoy, but you, and your endless butthurt over a character you won't even be dealing with. LeeRoy's already taken my sheet under advisement without your endless arguments, and as far as I was concerned, that should've been the end of it.

I've already stated if I need to bring Blythe's baseline down, I will. If she's rejected, I have plenty of other characters to submit.

I've already explained what I'm doing, but I'll reiterate.

LeeRoy is incredibly busy, I'm pointing out very obvious issues (in regards to how this site runs, we do things differently, that's just how things work) to save time. All of those issues I've raised have already been raised by LeeRoy, and you didn't answer them, but you did start critiquing LeeRoy's judgement for letting Corban in. At that point it looked a hell of a lot like you throwing shade and generally causing trouble, which is why I cut down your point quite succinctly by pointing out the vast differences between Blythe, Alex, and Corban, you then replied, I rebuked your rebuke, now we're here. If you were happy to wait for LeeRoy's judgement, why were you questioning his judgement for letting Corban in?
@MelonHead

After reading through this whole argument I still don't see why Blythe's mad muscles are that big of a deal. When the Beardforce can close that gap in a poorly written sentence then it isn't that big of a deal. It's what else she can do with those powers that makes her dangerous. Otherwise she's just forcing a skill match.

Because they're limitless, and only gods have no limits.
It's okay.... I'm going to make a new sheet with completely defined abilities.

Melon, he will need a job in your bar though probably as a cook. Don't worry he has all the right spices! And he cooks good noodles.

Always room for a good cook.
