Valeria walked to a nearby closed door and knocked.

"Room service!" She called, attempting to mask her Russian accent, keeping her shotgun at the ready.

Meanwhile, as John had moved on, Sam had reached the spot where Lamar had been killed. Obviously, Lamar's corpse was missing, but Sam knew who's blood it likely was from the fact a grenade and a couple rounds lay next to the puddle of blood. Clearly this involved someone he had came with.

He pulled out what appeared to be a smart phone but was actually a walkie-talkie of a sort. It was connected to HQ and not some cellular broadcast tower. He touched a button on the screen which said "Request Backup."

Operation: Hunter

Name: John Miles
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Appearance:Just under six feet tall at 5'11, his muscular (but not too bulky) physique makes up for that inch. You can tell he works out hard by the visible definition of his arms and his abs (when he removes his shirt.) Short hair that was dyed blonde sits on his head, as brown roots are beginning to show. He has quite a handsome face with high cheek bones, brilliant green eyes, pearly white teeth, and sin kissed skin. There is a small, barely noticeable scar on the right side of his lip.

Personality: When he meets new people and is just trying to have a good time, he is outgoing and friendly, though there are times when, in the company of many people he will be silent. This is because he is reviewing things he learns in his head, and maybe plotting. When he is working on a task, he is very focused on getting the job done quickly and efficiently.
As stated in his abilities, he is mentally strong. In a fight, he remains calm and focused on killing or incapacitating his foe.
While he will do a favor for a person in need, he is ultimately out for himself.

Weapons: 9mm glock and machete that is serrated at the bottom.
Positive Attribute: John fights aggressively without fear and without hesitation if necessary.
Negative Attribute: John's self centered tendencies makes him a shitty team-player
Combat Training: John has trained up to red belt level Kung Fu and dabbled with Muay Thai.

Brief History: John grew up on the east coast, where people tend to look out for themselves more often. It was here that he studied Kung Fu as well as studied "Game" chasing tail in his youth. He also managed to have a small business going on in his early days of college. It went so well he thought he could do well in Colorado: the Green State.

It didn't go so well and he went back to college, while taking some Muay Thai classes to stay in shape and going to gun ranges as a hobby. He dropped out a second time to become a Hunter, which he researched and figured could be a lucrative profession.

Operation: Hunter

Sometime in 2028, wolves in the state of Wyoming have been discovered with an unidentified virus. The virus increased their aggression, and their population spread to Northern Colorado, then even further South.

It has not yet been identified why or how the virus developed to begin with, but it has been shown that the virus can be spread to humans and other animals by being bitten by an infected wolf.

The New Colorado Government responds with

Operation: Hunter

Hunters:

You are a Hunter, a member of the operation tasked with hunting and killing those infected with the wolf virus. You are not an ordinary hunter who kills animals for food or trophies, (maybe you actually were one of these hunters at one point) you are actually trained to fight things much bigger, stronger, and faster than you...with not just guns, but melee weapons as well. One time injection of a mysterious drug carried by Rocky Mountain Hunters gives Hunters significantly increased agility, faster and more efficient healing abilities, and also greater physical potential.

The government prefers to keep the threat of the infected wolves a secret from average people, and the wolves mostly only attack at night, so hunting is normally only done once the sun goes down.

The Virus

The virus has unknown origins but has spread from Wyoming down to the areas surrounding Denver and the Rocky Mountains. Infected wolves grow bigger and are much more resilient to weapons, especially gunshots, though a gunshot will hurt and often stun the wolves. The wolves have greatly increased aggression, even so much as to travel into highly populated areas and attack people.

Humans can be infected with the wolf virus, with almost no chance of being immune. People infected with the wolf virus experience a gradual break down of sanity, increased aggression, and increase of muscles mass and resilience. The also appear to grow...hairier, faster.

Colorado in 2028

The 2020' have seen changes in the United States. Several states have successfully left the union but are then left to fend for themselves, without the aid of the federal US government. Among these states is Colorado. While they have a police force and military as advanced and well-equipped as ever, the resources and man-power available to it as an American state have shrunk dramatically.

Factions

Rocky Mountain Hunters: The Rocky Mountain Hunters are responsible for killing off all infected wolves to eliminate the virus. They are given a mysterious drug that makes them more agile and resilient, as well as giving them a greater potential for strength, speed, and even height.
