Zack couldn't help but comment on Vinashy's attitude towards the book.

"Alright, if something happened to you in relation to this book..." He imagined they might be in the same boat "Well feel free to say refuse, but I would like to hear what happened." Vinashy seemed like the typical eccentric rich man. Zack also wondered about his servants and why they didn't talk. Did they not speak English? Or were they forbidden to?

Just then Zack calmed down.

"Oh. It was some kind of costume trick." Then Zack thought nothing more of Vinashy's eyes flashing red.

"Anyways, are you saying this is the last book of its kind?"

Something about the way Vinashy just said what he said made Zack uneasy.

"You said you thought they were all destroyed. How do you know about them? And what else do you know?"

Zack had a hard time gauging how serious Vinashy was about what he was saying.

The way Vinashy was talking...it was like he had seen a book like that before.

"So do you know anything else about it? You say its for opening a rift to the netherworld. Is it to summon the dead or something." Zack was sure he had found the real life Necronomicon, and instead of laughing or making Bruce Campbell jokes he was growing more nervous by the minute.

Zack shivered a little. Normally if he heard such a thing he would have shrugged it off as something from a fantasy film, but this damn book took his friends and possibly has him in trouble with the law.

"How old do you think it is?" Zack asked, trying to gauge just how dangerous this thing was.
