Welcome! Mind if I ask what systems and MMOs you've rped in? I have fond memories of the sheer versatility of Champions and really enjoyed reading the Shadowrun sourcebooks.

Various Fandom RP Interest Checks

I've been itching to RP fandom stuff lately. If someone is interested, we can set up a 1x1 or small group for one of the following:

Mario - Mario stuff in general not a specific plot or setting. I tend to reference anything and everything in the franchise so it could be anything from a grudge match between Mario and Bowser to Mushroom Kingdom denizens chatting about the latest Kart Tournament's fundraising efforts to repair stuff ruined by the last Dark Land invasion.

Pokemon - Humans but in non-trainer professions. I'd love the chance to explore the setting outside of the focus of Gyms and battles. So for example Rangers or Archeologists. Predominantly Game-derived but there's bits and blobs floating in the back of my head from PokeSpecial and the Electric Pikachu Boogaloo manga, plus half-remembered stuff from the early seasons and some films.

Undertale - ... yeah, I still have Undertale on the brain. I mostly RP as canonical characters (ex: Asgore, Sans, Papyrus, Flowey, Gerson) but some friends got me able to do Fell, Outer, Reaper, and Horror variations, as well as Undyne. I also have Deltarune's Spade King and Jevil, and an idea I had for what Deltarune Papyrus might be like based on how everything that shaped his bombastic personality in UT was different or gone.

Final Fantasy / Kingdom Hearts - As a warning I've yet to play KH3 because PS4 was stupidly overpriced for a while, so I'm still avoiding all spoilers on KH3 until I can get my hands on a system. I have however played almost every title in the series to completion and love it to bits (in spite of the constant headaches and sheer pulling-out-of-pants bull). That said I'd love to do something with Final Fantasy or have more of a focus on Squaresoft and Enix characters within the KH setting. Like for example facing Live A Live's Odio as a Heartless or Lifeform Hojo N as a Nobody.

I can also do fandom stuff with characters from said settings with characters from settings I am not familiar with or not expecting if someone wants to do crossover stuff.

Mr. L is an easy fallback. Considering how much of a jerk he is, he's a fun jerk and has the most existing connections.
Jevil takes some work but whenever I write out his dialogue there's a certain rhythm to him. Also half the time I can't even predict what he'll do next. A friend jokes that the Jester Dimension beams his posts through me. He'd be the most wild card character of the bunch but at least he'd be entertaining.
Metal Sonic is also a fallback but I haven't done Sonic stuff in a long time. Which does mean he is admittedly the weakest of the three.

Wasn't quite sure how Kindred Spirits worked, I'll think them over.

World of Light

I'm interested in joining but alas I am torn on whom to use. I did talk myself out of Xion (since I saw Master of Masters) and a White Mage though.
Here's the sheets as they stand. Suggestions on which to go with?

Jevil crashes a clowncar into the ring

Name: Jevil
Game Origin: Deltarune
Appearance: A short and seemingly portly imp dressed in blue and black motley. He has yellow jagged teeth and black paint down his eyes. If he has hair it is impossible to see under his belled cap.
Personality: Joyful, playful, and absolutely insane. There's only one person it cares about and the fluffy feline magician is not here. The only thing that will keep him from happily slaughtering everyone he met is that this is clearly not the World of Darkness.
Background: Driven mad by the Knight to rob the Four Kings of their trusted advisors and greatest protectors, Jevil has been trapped in his "little freedom" for untold time. The world's whispers spoke of a time when the door would open and he could play once more. Well, Jevil can play now but the door had yet to turn into a jar so wherever this strange place... He has no idea what's going on but one thing is sure: the jester is going to have fun.

Specialty: CHAOS. In practice, primarily attacks and magic but there is a chance that he'll do nothing at all or actively hinder someone on his side.

Powers:

• Carousel Revolving - Illusion magic, though heavily weakened. Capable of playing tricks on someone else's mind and making them see attacks that aren't there.

Strengths:

• Rejected Reality - Pain and hunger do not slow him down. "I may be a fool but the body more fool than I and foolish for trying to trick me!"
• True Sight - As someone capable of casting illusions, illusions from another cannot hold him. "It takes a magician of a higher cut and softer paws than this to trick the jester wild."
• A Juggler's Trick - Gymnastics and clowning around are part and parcel of his trade. "Balls, pins, heads, lives! I can keep them all hanging in the balance!"

Weaknesses:

• Yet Darker Mind - Incredibly morbid and eager to play with lives. "This is a game of numbers. Let the pieces fall!"
• Whimsy - Attention span is... not so great. Prone to wandering off topic or on tangents. " "
• Stabbing from Hell's Heart - Has a fascination with knives and detests anything that claims to be divine or angelic.

Kindred Spirits:

• Pit - I just find the idea of Jevil meeting an actual angel after being freaked out over the Angel's Game to be too hilarious not to suggest.
• Nintendog - Just so he can kick the puppy. His world was barked into existence by a very trollish dog.
• Sephiroth - Someone claiming to be a god must be a fun fight!

Inventory:

• Devilsknife - Long handled version of the Jevilknife, a weapon with a curved serated blade and strange bells on the top. Definitely not a keyblade no matter how much it might look like one.

Echo Fighter unlocked: The Green Thunder

Name: Mr. L Luigi Mario
Game Origin: Super Paper Mario Super Mario series
Appearance:

Personality: A cocksure and abrasive person with kleptomaniac tendencies.
Background: In the middle of a scouting job for the Count, something extradimensional that definitely wasn't the Chaos Heart or the Void rippled out and cast the universe into disarray. More disarray than the Count's plans, anyway.

Specialty: Mix of Stealth and Melee due to lacking his Brobot.
Level: 1
Experience: 0/10
Powers:

• Flip Dimension (Weakened) - Capable of shifting on the Dimensional axis into an concentrated line. While this lets him dodge attacks and seem invisible, if something hits it deals more damage.

Strengths:

• By Leaps and Bounds - Incredible jumping ability that dwarfs whatever that red midget with the horrendous mustache is capable of.
• Electrical Mastery - Mr. L's affinity for electrical magic seems inborn. Its origin is shielded in mystery but there is a hint of the divine in its energies.
• Technological Knowhow - Brobotics.

Weaknesses:

• Anxiety - Underneath all his bluster, Mr. L is actually a bit of a worrywart. When things don't go according to plan he freaks. Although given his attitude rather than cowering like some green stringbean loser, Mr. L lashes out.
• Self-Deprecation Overinflated Ego - Easily distracted by his own pride. Does not handle insults lightly.
• Lost Origins - Memories from before signing on to Castle Bleck are... hazy, to put it mildly. He has no idea who he used to be but he must had been the best, must had been number one.

Personality: Driven and loyal to only one being. Will do anything to ensure that person's success but will obey any orders even if they conflict with pre-existing ones. Deems any non-Robotnik robots to be inferior heaps of slag.
Background: Created in the future and sent to the past by the great Doctor Robotnik to ensure his control of Little Planet and Time Itself. While it would never question its creator... perhaps abusing Time so much was not an optimal idea. Either Time crashed or something extratemporal interfered with Doctor Robotnik's plans.

Specialty: Scouting and Speed; will take advantage of local non-Mobian lifeforms to find a way back to its creator.

Strengths:

• Fastest Thing Alive Created - Capable of matching Sonic's speed.
• Unto the End - Once given a goal, nothing will stop it from trying to reach it.

Weaknesses:

• Priority One - Due to programming, if it sights Sonic it will attack him without hesitation or consideration of whether it is the optimal time.
• Cognitive Reset - Programming does not allow it to consider that Robotnik is anything but the pinnacle of organic life.

If the game events are encoded into the world, then Jevil could see the events leading up to player interacting with the Dark Fountain. Also, Lancer and Ralsei are both princes _or jack cards_ with that suggested prophecy of the Prince of the Dark and neither were all too sure about their role or value (also I'm still not sure that Ralsei isn't actually a prince).

Dreemurr/dreamer pun, Kris is a kind of knife, weapon in the hand of the player, you could claim that the Heart suit (as many Darkners have playing card suits on their form or body) makes the Lightners "Hearts", the heart-shape soul in Kris's chest gets ripped out.

500% references to Genocide run and how the party still does what the player wants in battle.

Double nod to how some NPCs were safe from fighting because they ran or were store-merchants in both games. Ex: Gerson and Seam.

Seam is a cat and presumably male due to the name Seam/Seap/Shop/Shoam wordplay, so tomcat. Reference to UT's final boss's talk about "resetting the world back to zero". Vague allusion to Mother 3 where beating the game meant that the events canonically were re-rest (kept in mind due to the Halloween Hack by Toby and his past as being in the Earthbound romhack/fan scene).

So... Let's play play play and I'll make you pay for saving over what once was and never was yours.

Jevil's fight is part of a game and slight allusion to how when you start playing the game and save the first time you save over an existing save file.

Possibly, but equally possible are Undertale/Deltarune (I've been able to get a solid grip on Spade King and Jevil and still have Flowey, Papyrus, Sans, and Asgore) and Mario (Mr. L and Baby Bowser never left my grasp).
