I have to say, now that I've been studying all of your characters for a bit, that you guys all astound me with your creativity and your writing prowess. I am humbled and honored to have drawn you all here, and I only hope this RP can live up to expectations. Please do voice any questions/thoughts/concerns/ideas, shout and squeal and object! This is your story, after all.

After counting all approved characters and everyone who's expressed interest, there could potentially be 16 characters in play. I expect not everyone will follow through (as is the norm) but that's still a lot. You all are amazing, so I'm not worried, but I think it might be wise to divide you up into four teams of four.

If anyone specifically wants to be in the same team as anyone else, feel free to decide that among yourselves and let me know! Otherwise they'll be assigned. :)

Okay guys, I'm planning the IC post by Saturday. I do have work during the day on weekdays, but Saturday is a good day to shoot for. If anyone wants to make any changes to your CS, or you're finishing up your WIP, please post again to let me know when you're done!

I'm thinking of maybe splitting you all into two groups at first so there's not a mass confusion, and so everyone has a more open chance to alter the story. What do you think? Any preferences as to which team you're on? Shall we have team names? Might I create little shiny banners for each of you?

Edit: No problem, Jedly! You're not the only one with a WIP now, and I'm not ready yet either. ;)

Ooohh, sure! Yes, feel free to make up a religion if you're inclined. I only ask that you -- and anyone else who wants to do something similar -- please keep it simple, and keep it IC and/or in your CS. It shouldn't necessarily be common knowledge for the other characters.

Good question! Personally I assume we're in a separate universe. Really, though, anything goes in character histories as long as it's completely magic-free and in a Medieval-ish sort of culture and technology level, whether you want to be historically accurate or make it all up. The biggest reason I chose Medieval is because much of the world at that point is still undiscovered, so you can have an enormous forest that no one's ever been to and magic that no one knew existed. that, and everything is just simpler and won't compete with the actual plot. I'm not sure if that's an answer to your question?
