It’s my birthday today! I’m officially an older adult. It feels like Jude Law becoming Michael Gambdon overnight, and still being just as magical.

I’ve been kind of listening to children’s music, atm. I want to say it’s because of the book I purchased called Why You Should Read Children's Books, Even Though You Are So Old and Wise by Katherine Rundell. You know, like maybe I should listen to children’s music, as well even though I am “so old and wise.” However, it’s actually because I felt like my youngest children might turn into robots if I kept having them listen to contemporary classical music and Byzantine chant.

I didn’t deviate from the theological path, though because I am a nerd. Also, I am a super-expert at counting to 100 by 10’s. Before all this started, I was only a could-have-been-super-expert.

I’m sorry! I have been trying to re-arrange the upstairs, planning homeschool schedules for the upcoming school year, while also managing summer camp things and an end of the summer out-of-country trip. Keeping on top of the normal day-to-day life routines and responsibilities has taken presidency over reading your game. I don’t seem to have time to read it atm. I am sure you put a lot of effort into it.

Personally, being DM’d made me feel special, tho. Thank you and best of luck!

@wheels, good job!
Bro, that’s how I feel about life.
Not to sound like a broken record, but I feel like it needs to be said just in case. I’m a simple stay-at-home mom who for some reason has an Int’l Business degree that sort of just sits there doing nothing aside from wondering why national news can’t tell the difference between a merger and an acquisition.

In other words: English is not my forte.

I vote for The Noise. I feel there was more personality and character dynamics. I also enjoyed reading about the lore. It was given in rather large chunks, but my imagination enjoyed the layout.

While I did enjoy the silence of Quiet and one of my childhood favorite books being about a generational cat — Captain Whiz-Bang, I feel like there should have been written moments that displayed Momo making cherishable (precious) memories with her owners.

"What's your reason?"

He waited for an answer, knowing what it was and not wanting to hear it.

"Is it because of me? What I did?"

"I'm hungry," his brother said and turned into the kitchen.

Okay, so, I caved and bleached my hair, again. (As opposed to letting my hair grow out.) I took a stab at doing it myself. It’s just following directions, right? And, well — it worked out way better than I expected!

I feel cute like Chii, now.

Although, it’s safe to say it’s only a matter of time before I go back to pink. I’ll enjoy the Persocom life, for now, though. Besides, I have a soft spot for Flanderization — probably because I lived a bit of my childhood with a dear family member who suffered from some such extremity for the last years of her life.

She was also a bleach blonde, so hey!
@Loksfjoer, awwwh! I hope you feel better soon. 🙏🏻

But events can unfold in such a manner that overnight the man our of step finds himself in the right place at the right time. The fashions and attitudes that had seemed so alien to him are suddenly swept aside and supplanted by fashions and attitudes in perfect sympathy with his deepest sentiments. Then, like a lone sailor adrift for years on alien seas, he wakes one night to discover familiar constellations overhead.

And when this occurs — this extraordinary realignment of the stars —the man so long out of step with his times experiences a supreme lucidity. Suddenly all that has passed comes into focus as a necessary course of events, and all that promises to unfold has the clearest rhyme and reason.
