@Nightrunner What were you thinking of doing? Still going with Scarecrow or another villain?
@Hylozoist Well there are supposed to be literally an infinite amount of worlds in the DC multiverse, it's not just one comic book world. It'd be harder to justify why the Fables would travel to such a world and interact with it. Plus I kind of want this DC Earth to be the roleplay's "Main Earth" and not a convergent reality off of the Fable universe's Earth, which is presented as our world.

I think it'd be better to tailor the concept of "Legends in Exile" in the DCU itself. Fabletown could still be in New York and some of the mythology could be tailored to DC. Magic is real, supernatural creatures are real, gods are real, so a lot of those characters would be different. But the unique Fable characters like Jack, Charming, Boy Blue, these would all be a different class of being and that's where the stories come to life aspect would be applied I think. Fabletown itself could just be a general immigrant community for Supernatural beings, not just stories come to life.

@Chaotic Chao Can't wait to see it.
@Hylozoist Well if you can make Stinky work as an associate of the Justice League, I say go for it. His personal history would probably have to be tailored a bit, because a lot of the comic canon probably wouldn't have happened exactly the same. We can work on establishing a new continuity for all the Fables characters though.

I think the series started off on a strong premise but it kind of got off the rails for me further down. It'd be interesting to see how Fabletown would have to be tailored to fit in the main universe though.

The DCU already has magic and monsters of all kinds, so the "stories come to life" aspect might only apply to some characters. There's even a race of people called Homo Magi, that are humans born with magical abilities, and I could see a lot of the Human fable characters fitting in that category.

@Chaotic Chao Sounds reasonable to me, should be interesting to see how he bounces off of Oliver.

@Sep Oh well, we all have important things going on, but you can always come back at any time.
@Hylozoist Oh I haven't finished the series yet, better finish it myself.

But yeah, the Fables series would definitely be fair game for inspiration and characters. Now the actual continuity and events of the series would probably be a lot different since they would now exist in the same world as superheroes and aliens. Who were you thinking of playing? Depending on the character they might be someone who could already exist in the mythology of the DCU without having to be a literal fable brought to life.

Like Totenkinder could be a witch from the mortal world and Bigby could be an actual werewolf from Earth.
@Chaotic Chao Let's say that the public awareness of superheroes started in 2016. The year is 2040, and Green Grenade has made Ollie just over 50, so Roy can be anywhere from 30 to 40 as his former sidekick I would think.

His daughter Lian would be somewhere in her teen or young adult years also.
@Chaotic Chao Still wanting to play Roy?

@Nightrunner No rush, take your time.
@Sep I'm really sorry to hear that, I hope everything works out soon. We're in no hurry, no worries about that.
@Sep There's no character cap so you could do both.

And he might have two kids but not twins.
@Sep If Wally had kids as a young adult, it wouldn't be out of the question that his children, Jai and Iris, would be old enough to have something to do in the JL, though they might be too young to be an official field operative.
