You're putting a lot of gaming mechanics into that character.

This is going nowhere fast....

And yes, you're right. He's putting a bit too much game mechanics into it. To be fair, he might just be describing what the class would be like in-game, as he seems to be well aware that this RP isn't a turn-based strategy game.

Hmmm. I'll take a look into it, and more specifically, lore-wise, why'd he suddenly gain a horse and learn dark magic?

Grandmasters (in this canon) can use all forms of magic. From the OP:

Grandmaster (Sword, Anima, Light, Dark) [Ability to Learn a new class] Brings strategy and able to Rally allies when on the field of battle
Oh. Oh my. I...uh....meant to do that once your character has actually become that class. So, for now, Kristoph would just be a Tactician. Then when he promoted, Tactician>Grandmaster. Then if he changed to Dark Knight later on, Tactician>Grandmaster>Dark Knight. I am not good at expressing things.
Lel. Barst is downright scared of other archers.
I try to avoid becoming OP by giving my characters a truly fatal weakness. My amputee soldier in the other RP? He has no offense talents. NONE. The only remotely offensive thing he can do is teleport. Given the fact that he was a Ranger, this could make for some serious ass-wooping attacks, but the enemies our characters have to fight are the definition of OP. First few posts, one character has his face ripped off.

HIS FACE. RIPPED. OFF. Another person got impaled by a javelin of ice.
It's the Deer God (or the Forest Spirit in the English dub) from Princess Mononoke, my personal favorite of mastermind Hayao Miyazaki.

Hircine? Also, counts as armored when promoted, weak to armorslayers.

No...THIS terrifying motherfucker.

Seriously, WHAT was Miyazaki on??

Alright, poor mobility, poor accuracy, poor speed, sub-general defense, sub-warrior strength, worse resistance than wyvern riders. We good?

O.O Deer god....

I think....I think that's good by me.....I'll let the GM have the final vote on it, though.

My background (IRL) is I always do the 'invincible phalanx' tactic, so I ended up hating fragile, speedy classes or ones with high mobility because either they couldn't HOLD. THE. LINE. or the extra mobility was pointless as I never advanced anyone too far past the generals, coupled with my already cautious, defensive mindset. I couldn't do those tactics with Pegasus knights, myrmidons, or mages so I just sort of grew a severe aversion to them.

Well, the overpowered comment still stands....your Dark Axe lord would have to suffer in some respect. And to be honest, low speed/accuracy wouldn't really cut it if the guy's nigh-invincible AND strong with weapons and magic.

Wait... on the whole nosferatu note can't any guy with swords find a runesword? like generals?

Even in the games they appeared in, runeswords were just about THE single rarest thing to appear.

S-sorry dude... feel free to tell me if I'm being a dick...

I wouldn't say you were being a dick, but Vincanity does have a point. He created the ENTIRE class list we used if memory serves. I mean, I wouldn't mind offering a hand though in the future if more stuff comes up.
