Caelbury Academy: An Elite School Slice-of-Life Roleplay

Definitely interested. Might be nice to get into something...not absurd. I mean, I enjoy magic and fantasy as much as the next guy, but this could be really nice too. It'd be the first real "normal" RP I've done.

Of course. Can't have him being OP now. He'd also have a few command overrides installed in him a la Robocop, so that he couldn't flip back to the BESC, not that he'd ever want to. As for other limitations, I'd probably have him suffer from flexibility issues (due to his limbs being entirely cybernetic) as well as issues in regards to energy as well as overheating in the desert climate.

Yeah, true that. Might have gone a bit overzealous in that estimate. But, most of his arms and legs and a decent portion of his lower torso. So, maybe 60%, along with some other augmentations that weren't completely necessary, but helped, including some minor brain augmentations. Overall, he'll be much more machine than man afterwards, leaving mostly just his brain, heart, intestines and lungs fully intact.

The Group sounds awesome. I think my character would fit well there.

Catharyn, how does a former BESC spec-ops who tried to flip to The Group, was nearly killed by his own comrades after they discovered his intentions, then rescued and augmented by his saviors (The Group) sound? Even though the BESC know who he is, they couldn't very well track him if 80% of his body's been replaced with machinery, can they?

Sophos watched on as Demoko gave commands and the others followed them. At the moment he was examining his new wand and trying to conserve the newfound energy and relative peace of mind that Hylia had granted him. He was still worked up, of that there was no doubt, but it was at a controllable level. He could work with this. Caelan and Link were talking while Nayrin and Addab went out to scout. As he looked at Demoko, the elderly man was awe-inspired. Now he was truly rejuvenated. Restored to his rightful glory as the true Sage of Time. Smiling at his recently made friend, he spoke a few words. "Gaios...my...my wife's lastborn son is out there, fighting for our enemy. Will I recognize him? Or will one of us kill him before we realize it? Or...will he kill us?" Swallowing, he looked on at the expansive desert. "We'll see, I suppose..."

I know not whether Fiona was instrumental in his death, as I was not in Termina at that time, but I do know this: there is something different about her. I feel that she has some...other goal...one different from our own, General. I would not care, but if your claim is true, and I've no reason to disbelieve it, then she is a dangerous woman. Beyond interested. Wondering if I can throw in a budding AI/cyborg character, but isn't quite sentient, unless sentient AI is already around. (I saw that you have machine intelligence intelligent enough to command starships, but I wasn't sure if they're sentient and have free will. If they do, I've still got plenty of things I can do with this basic character skeleton.) Essentially, he'd be somebody who was killed, and "reborn" through the wonders of technology. However, he's not quite his old self, having been rebuilt from his memories in an artificial brain.
