I'm a dropout, I'm of no use on that front.
I did indeed send a PM.
Oki dokes. It seems there's a serious communication issue between those two: Jacob's just trying to have fun and make friends, but the only real experiences he has as an adult all involve being a soldier. And all she sees is a vet bragging about how awesome he is. I wonder how this relationship will progress? :D

"Pompous army brat? Damn, and here I thought we were getting along famously. You know, Carolyn, I do my best to be friendly with people. I do. But you seem to go out of your way to make enemies with everybody who doesn't follow every single rule all the time." Gently pushing himself against the wall, he turned and narrowed his eyes at her. "I do respect you, for one thing. You have the common courtesy to keep out of people's heads. Because trust me, if you actually took a look inside me, you'd shut your prissy little spoiled mouth faster than a fuckin' bullet." The last words came out with the venom of a scornful Drill Instructor, and Jacob had to close his eyes and take a deep breath. "It's not every day that somebody can make me angry like that, so at least you have that, too."

Turning to Jade, he inclined his head. "Seems like I gotta take your advice from last night more seriously. My habit of butting into other people's business has officially gotten bad for my health." Smiling as he turned away, he said one thing back to Carolyn. "But Carolyn, if you really want to get anybody out of the Academy, I recommend not assaulting them beforehand. Or do you just show affection by shoving people into walls and threatening them?" By now, his smile had twisted and he walked away, putting his hands into his pockets and letting his shoulders down for once. Rounding the corner, he made his way back to the White Mages' Guild Hall.

/Jacob has left Scenario #13

Jacob couldn't help but laugh at what Cancer had to say. He was too used to that kind of joke. Hell, sometimes he wondered how different things would have been if he'd gone to college or just entered the working world out of high school. Stepping out from behind the corner, he leaned against the wall casually and shook his head. "And Carolyn, I hate to break it to ya, but joking about that sorta thing is far from uncommon. People cope with stress in different ways. I mean, obviously you don't have to cope with stress, since you're perfect in every way, but most people have something they use to deal with stressful situations. Our masked friend here simply finds jokes to be his outlet. Nothing wrong with that."
D, I'm not in two scenarios. There was a mix-up and I wasn't supposed to be in Scenario 14. So I just made the post blank.
Scenario 13

Jacob was passing by the Black Mage's Guild Hall when he heard several painfully familiar voices engaged in a shouting match. Trying to debate between intervening and simply walking away, he chose a much simpler road: just watch.

When he poked his head around the corner to watch the argument, he got the hilarious sight of Carolyn being accosted by other students. It seems the previous night had had some major effects on everybody around. Biting down on his lip to keep himself from making some smart-ass comment, he contented himself with watching for the moment. To be honest, if what that killer, and the victim, has said were true...well, Jacob had killed better men for less than that. He wasn't gonna hold it against anybody for giving the guy a few words of encouragement. Hell, he'd probably have done the same thing in those circumstances.

As Sophos and Gaios were cutting down Templars alongside Regol, Demoko and Onyx continued their epic battle. It was something to be amazed by, and Sophos might have stopped to watch if his life weren't in danger. The three started moving forward with the caravan, Regol following alongside them. Gaios was pleased that he at least had one friend from the Templars on his side. When a young recruit started coming at Gaios, he knocked the boy to the side with a blast of earth. Sighing, he disarmed his attacker, and grabbed him by the collar. "You have two choices. Walk away or die." Gaios narrowed his eyes at his captive, hand on the handle of his blade. "Decide."

The terror in the boy's eyes was far too real for Gaios. This was the fear of somebody whose life was about to end. "I'm giving you three more seconds, boy. Take that armor off and abandon this crusade, or die." As another arrow barely missed him, Gaios grew impatient. Letting go of the boy, he took a small step back and swung his sword, lopping his head off with one clean swipe, pushing it to the side with his earth magic. Turning to attack another group of Templars, he let out a battlecry and unleashed a barrage of earth attacks at them.
Sophos, meanwhile, was battling the archers that were harassing the group on the bridge. Bursts of magic launched Templars to and fro, screaming to their doom. He felt bad about killing them, but they were trying to kill him. He didn't exactly have a choice, here, since he didn't want to die. When he saw Gaios execute the Templar he was trying to make surrender, he turned his head away. It was hard to see something like that and not be a little annoyed. However, that feeling soon disappeared when the bridge rumbled as Onyx landed on it. By the Godesses...he really was huge....

"Gaios, Regol, we need to move onward! Just listen to Demoko and we'll get out of this alright!" Bursts of energy started exploding around Onyx, though Sophos doubted they'd ultimately have much effect. Gaios, meanwhile, started covering his arms and torso in a suit of armor made from the stones that made up the bridge. His steps were slowed down, but between his armor, the solid rock on his body, and his natural resilience, even Onyx wouldn't be able to kill him with only one swing. The second was a matter of debate, but if it got that far then there was no hope either way. As a final measure of preparing himself, he summoned a dozen or so disks to float around his body. Keeping his mind on this much rock wasn't an easy task, but his training had put him through much more daunting tasks. As long as this battle was decided within a relatively quick time, he'd be alright.
