Jacob smiled at his young companion when he noticed Charon, who had been bringing injured folks to him. "Damn, kid, that's a crazy-useful summon. Creepy as all hell, but...woulda saved me a lot of trouble if I had something like that." Moving on to the next patient, Jacob sighed. "I'm sorry....this is going to hurt." Jerking the woman's arm violently to the side, an audible cracking sound was nearly instantly drowned out by her screaming. "Had to set the bone. Times like these I'm real glad the Army teaches ya this kinda basic stuff." Forcing a smile as he started to heal the damaged bone, he sighed and laid her down. "My apologies again, but do not, under any circumstances barring an immediate threat to your life, move from this position. The bone is properly set, but I don't have the materials to make a splint. I'd heal it fully, but I can't afford to do so just yet. I'll be back to you in a little bit, don't worry. You'll be alright, just follow your friendly neighborhood field medic's orders and you got nothing to worry about."

A hail of gunfire broke his concentration on the next patient, and Jacob was up and running before the fourth shot was off. His rucksack at his side and open now, a large combat knife appeared from the bag as Jack approached the gunfire, ready for a fight. When he got there, the fight was already done. The gunmen were suspended in the air in a pair of bubbles that were filled with water. Sighing, he stashed the knife away and looked around. He had three choices:
A. Comfort Jade, the girl he realized he'd healed from the massive ice javelin, and who had given him the advice to get away from the murder scene recently.
B. Take over healing the gunshot victim. However, there was little reason to do so. His experience wasn't necessary here, any half-baked healer could take care of that.
C. Confront the shooters and try to prevent something like this from happening again. On a second glance, that seemed to be getting done as is. Progress was definitely slow, but at least the gunshots stopped.

His decision was made for him, then.

Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, he walked over to Jade and gently tapped her shoulder. "Hey. Listen, if it means anything, I get why you did that. I can tell you this: given the circumstances...I probably would have done the same thing. They were a threat, and that threat had to be taken care of. Maybe your methods were a bit harsh in hindsight, MAYBE, but nobody else got hurt, and when the time came, you stopped. That's important. I knew a guy..." A scene of a desert, smoke and fire in the background, repeated in his mind. "Correction: I served with a guy. We....the Army Rangers are the guys they send in to handle serious messes. We make very, very difficult decisions under very, very difficult circumstances. I still lose sleep over what we did plenty of the time. Can't get over it, probably never will. But you don't gotta go down that road. It's okay. It's okay. You did what you had to do, and nothing more. You didn't kill them, even if you felt like you wanted to. They tried to murder that guy. They were scared, but that doesn't make what they did okay." Sighing, he shook his head. "Was that a bit too much? I can never tell in this kinda situation."

Jacob nodded at the other student who approached him. "Name's Jacob Rockwell. White Mage and telepath." Sighing, he looked around and shrugged. "Alright, brotha, looks like its just you and me in this hellhole. Hope we meet someone else out there." Rolling his arms in circles, he took a step forward and started running directly for ground zero.
/Jacob has left scenario 22/

#23

After a little bit of running, Jacob caught a glimpse of a few vaguely Wanderers putting out fires and helping a group of injured people, many of whom were grievously injured. Jogging up to the first person he saw going unattended, he ripped off his jacket and got to work, focusing less on the hellscape around them and more on treating the casualty's wounds. "Don't you worry, you're gonna make it out of this." After sealing up the most life-threatening wounds, he moved to the next one. "Get those other cuts looked at in a little bit. Don't let them get infected and you'll be better off than me." Lifting up his pant leg, he winked at the person he'd just helped and moved on to the next one. "Same as I said to him, just keep it clean and don't take an infection lightly."
Decided to make Scenario 22 in order to help anybody whose character isn't currently doing anything get involved with some sort of action. And yes, in case you're wondering, Jacob fully intends to enter Ground Zero of the explosion of his own accord, even under the mistaken impression that it was a low-yield nuclear device.
Ah, I added the other Lunar Watch skills to Johannes, except for Lycanthropy. Because Moon-Touched lycanthrope...just seems way too OP.
Scenario #22

Jacob was sitting in his room, on the computer, when the explosion happened. Standing up, he calmly walked to his closet, grabbing a rucksack filled with the essentials to last him several days, as well as a large, thick cap that would protect his head from the elements. Checking inside the bag to make sure everything was secure, he took a deep breath and buried his face in his hands. So, it finally happened, huh? He didn't know the details, but that explosion was not normal. It was not some punk kid blowing up a pipe bomb, or a mortar landing a dozen or two meters away. This was massive. This was what they used to train people for back in the Cold War. A Nuclear explosion.

Of course, Jacob was wrong about that, but the details weren't important. He quickly made his way through the Academy, stopping just outside the gates and looking over at Ground Zero of the explosion. Ceteris was in tatters, people were screaming and running from the ruins, hoping to avoid any further attacks. As if anybody who could get their hands on a weapon like that would be such an amateur as to attack the same spot twice. After a few calm breaths, a dark look appeared in Jacob's eyes, and he smiled. He knew what he had to do, but still he waited, looking back at the Academy. Would anybody else come? He'd give it five minutes. Anybody who was going to do something wouldn't lollygag after hearing that.
The lack of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood disturbs me.

And Fate/Zero.

And Monster.

Just...all those masterpieces. Ignored. It makes me sad.
Yeah, the armor is a bit iffy for a Lunar Watchman, but blah. It fits the style I was going for.
Hope this is good.

Also curious about that. Definitely interested in making a character for this.
Waiting on Six to work on our joint post -.-
