Hello there! I posted an interest check for this on the old site, and I'm still on the lookout for it! By homicidal maniac, I mean the one and only Johnny C. (AKA Nny) from the comic "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" by Jhonen Vasquez. I love that comic to death, and have been wanting an RP including him and an older Squee - not romantically, but hey, if you're into it, I am.

Plot: Todd Casil is now eighteen years old. Unfortunately, and unsurprising to anyone who ever spent more than five minutes with him, he has been cast out of his home as fast as his father could throw him. With no one else to really turn to in such a situation, Todd goes to the only place within reach - abandoned house #777. The occupant has been gone for many years, and as much as Todd hoped it would simply collapse under its own weight, it remains a semi-stable shelter. At least until something a little less terrifying comes along. If he just doesn't touch anything, he's sure he'll be fine. Hell, he's even had doubts that the "scary neighbor man" ever existed at all...

A month or so later, that doubt is violently ripped away when the man finally comes home. With him follows...something else. Something that awakens the dormant monster that has been left to starve for so many years. If Johnny won't return to his duties, someone else needs to fill his place. Someone young, someone impressionable and innocently gullible. Someone like Todd.

And that's the gist of it! My thought is that Johnny, upon seeing that Squee really hasn't changed much from the sweet kid he once knew, decides to let him stay. Consequently, living in that house isn't good for Squee at all - more nightmares, more anger, and a persistent nagging in the back of his head that he just can't shake. Johnny's got problems of his own, but can he pull his friend away from the very monster that controlled him for so long?

About Me:

- I'm over eighteen. Throw whatever you want at me, as long as it doesn't include the harming of animals. (The one thing I'm squeamish about, heh. Go figure.) Everything else is fair game.

- I do my best to respect the limits of my partner, as well as any triggers if I'm warned beforehand.

- My posts tend to average at a good sized paragraph or two. If my partner needs more, I'll gladly add more, but I don't do well with strict post length requirements. As flexible as I try to be, this is a fun hobby for me - I will not treat it like a job.

- As of now, my posts have been slow, and might stay that way until I can get my laptop fixed (the jerk decided it didn't want to connect to the internet, anymore.) My job also takes up a lot of my time. I'll do my best to get replies sent as fast as I can, but feel free to send a nice, non-aggressive poke my way if you get a little impatient. I'm stuck on my Kindle for the time being, so longer posts do take time.

Looking For:

- A person who is also over eighteen. Romance is very unlikely to occur, but the graphic violence is more than enough to make me want my partner to be an adult.

- Someone who can handle an RP as mature as the comic.

- Someone who has read JtHM. If you have a fair gist of it, good enough.

- Seriously, don't worry too much about in character-ness. No one can play a canon character perfectly, so just have fun with it. Don't stress, because I won't. :P

- Gives more than a few lines of text. Just give a good paragraph with something I can reply to, and we're good. It's pretty irritating when I shell out a multi-paragraph post and get nothing but a one or two liner in return.

- Is patient. Really, that's the biggest thing I ask for. I'm incredibly patient, and hope that my partner is the same.

Margo tossed her set of keys on the small kitchen table, then turned to Astral. She noticed that he appeared more relaxed, or at least not as tense as he seemed the whole walk there. Then again, she was sure she looked more at ease, as well. It was always better to get off the dark, unsafe streets and into a place that was much more secure. Before he spoke, she came around to the recliner and took a seat, letting her fingers pick at a small hole in the fabric on the left armrest. Though, she quickly stopped when she heard his question, obviously caught off guard by it. "Oh! I didn't tell you my name? I'm sorry...I guess I was too caught up in this whole thing." She gave a brief, apologetic smile. "I'm Margo."

She had to pause. No one had really asked who she was before, at least not like that. She blinked, at a loss for words before shrugging and leaning back in her chair. "I'm no one special...Just an average girl, I guess. I think the most important thing here is to figure out who you are. Are you sure there's nothing else you can remember? Not even a tiny thing?"
