Dear Mr Curly,
I have done little travelling lately because I have been so dreadfully weary. Can it be true as the old Ecclesiastes said; that all things lead to weariness? Surely not. Perhaps the opposite is true: that all nothings lead to weariness. I have a peculiar feeling, Curly, that I am worn out from something I haven't yet done and the more I don't do it, the more exhausted I become. How strange. Could it be something I haven't realised? Perhaps it's something I haven't said? Something I haven't finished! It must be very large and true whatever it is and a lively struggle in the doing but I look forward to it immensely. I know I need it. First, however, I must curl up in my chair and sleep deeply with the duck. Perhaps I'll dream of this thing and wake up refreshed and do it. My fond wishes to you Mr. Curly, and to all Curly Flat.
Yours sleepily,
Vasco Pyjama

P.S. Not having breakfast can make you weary. That's for sure!

"Kaleeth is right," Sabine said. "Our tasks will be hard now. But, they are no longer impossible."

"What is Marod going to think of all this?" Fendros had a tightness to his shoulders as he glanced off in the direction Neesa left. "What are the other clan warriors going to think of this? We don't need any more reasons for this invasion to be tenuous-"

"-What was she trying just now?" Lunise cut in over all of their comments and left them silent. She was looking over in Neesa's previous direction before the vampire disappeared around the corner. "She knew I was out of place in that Xanmeer the moment she met my eyes. For most, it would have been enough to know who I was working for. But she was measuring me. Goading me." Lunise refolded her arms by habit. "I am unsure whether to conclude that her mention of Alessia and Silyanorn hints at her age going back to the days of the Ayleids. It is rather rich to believe."
I'm fine to move on to another scene here. Lunise has got a few things to talk over with Meesei now that she's spoken to Neesa, but there might be other stuff that happens before they can get a moment to themselves.
"Tag along with us?" Fendros lowered his brow and flicked his eyes between Neesa and Lorag. "Against Vile? I...I cannot believe this." He ran both hands back over his hair. "Who else knows?"

"No one else," Janius answered. "We're working on what to do next, okay? None of us are happy about it, not even her." He looked at the back of Neesa's head. "This could go either way."

Lunise regained a little composure when Neesa unhanded her. "All either of us should care about right now is whether that worth of yours shall prove itself in the upcoming invasion," Lunise said. Her tone was as dismissive as ever, though she gave Meesei a fleeting glance. That glance signalled that Lunise believed that something was not quite right about Hal-Neesa, beyond what they definitely knew. Exactly what that was would have to be conveyed in words between Lunise and Meesei.

Lunise had nothing to say back to Hal-Neesa. She merely pursed her lips as another sign of her withering patience.

"...What?" Fendros was at first utterly dumbstruck at the sight of Neesa amongst the pack. He closed the distance between himself and Meesei at a jog and slowed to walk alongside her. "What happened?" He asked, before lowing his voice to an equally fearful as much as angry hiss. "What is she doing here?"

"Get to the heart of the matter, Argonian," Lunise requested, with just a hint of urgency. "If you intend to get anywhere at all."
Serge watched Mister Wu exit. Not moments before, they shook hands on a job that was more coerced than negotiated in the end. They would still get a decent pay, sure, if they honoured their part of the bargain. From where Serge stood up straight, he was giving a smile to whomever looked back at him from the security detail. Once they were all gone, he lowered himself back down onto the plastic chair at the table, leant forward on his elbows, and held his closed fist against his lips. He sat, thinking, and staring into space.

Even if Serge looked like he had just been diagnosed with a venereal disease, the others would have picked up by now that this was his serious thinking face. He barely even shifted his eyes when Andi spoke up.

Serge opened his fist in a gesture and returned it to his lips. "We could use a place to start looking into this," he said, standing up. "Lead the way."

Serge couldn't keep his eyes off the various features of the tunnel around him. He could have been was scanning for surveillance devices but he was just as likely to be watching out for leaky pipes.

"You really put those MOLEcorp vulnerabilities to good use, huh?" Serge commented. His voice carried along the concrete walls a distance ahead.

Serge did not have time to ask how the follow-up actions to their previous data acquisition mission had gone for Siofra. He was honestly expecting to spot some clues as to what she had found out in her home. Serge was surprised to see a woman and a young girl waiting for them on the other side of the door, but things did not click together just yet.

"So, I'm gonna guess this is the one you want to keep existing, right?" Serge asked. "Who are these people, exactly, Siofra?"

The twinge in Serge's voice told of his distaste for involving strangers in their mission.
Lunise took most of Neesa's incendiary words with a stony coolness. She looked ahead to avoid Neesa's eyes. When Hal-Neesa made physical contact, however, Lunise uncrossed her arms and breathed out sharply through her nose. Her eyes faltered just enough to tell Meesei just how hard she was trying to stay calm.

"You complain too much, vampire," Lunise said through her teeth. "I hope you act more against Clavicus Vile than you apparently ever will against us vile fools in the Dominion. The Thalmor would have accomplished nothing had they sat and withered in an old Argonian rock-pile all their lives, begging for the scraps of a Daedric Prince's power. Do you even still remember why you became what you are?"
"You certainly make it hard to intuit with your tact," Lunise quipped back, frowning. She crossed her arms and glanced quickly at Meesei. "You were going to find out, if we are to be allies, so I shall make it simple. I am one tasked with ensuring the Aldmeri Dominion has fewer reasons to eradicate lycan clans than necessary. Does that answer your question?"

"Lunise, please," Sabine spoke up uncomfortably.

Lunise interrupted. "Sabine, if Hal-Neesa wishes to set the tone, far be it from me to refuse her."
I found a new banner for hainposting:

Let's see if Neesa doesn't lose her patience with them all before that happens x)

I barely remember much about her from the previous RP she was in.

Anyway, this time it's me that is heading to sleep first. G'night!
Hahahah! The shoe is definitely on the other foot for Lunise. Now you know how I felt playing Lunise initially.

Here's hoping it doesn't turn into a love triangle between the Lunise, Neesa, and Meesei. I've had enough near-typos where I've confused their names already.
