Amber watched as Corporal Acosta approached her and Silva as they were talking hearing her comment over the new recruits to GHOST. "They are new to the team we were all rookies at one point or another you know. Just show them the same respect as they would give you." She said in a stern voice, her eyes went towards the entrances to the staging area watching as Jameson entered Amber quickly headed over towards the center of the room with the rest of GHOST. Amber stared at the image of Solace Colony which was now glassed and a barren wasteland now she quietly listened to their commanding officer briefing them on their mission, when Captain Ramsey, XO Campbell along with Commander Aldridge she stood at attention to her superior officers.

Her blue eyes watched silently as Aldridge took over the rest of the briefing she disliked ONI for many reasons and hated being left out in the dark her eyes switched over to the monitor taking note of the Type-52 Phantom hovering over the city center knowing that they would have to drop down quickly. Then the rest of the briefing went smoothly watching Jameson and Aldridge go at it. She knew he disliked her as much as she did and the rogue AI was going to be a problem when they were dismissed Amber could over hear McCoy talking to the recruits overhearing the mention of SPARTAN's going MIA she knew well that they weren't invincible some of her friends died or weren't able to go into active duty from the augmentation and having become a washout as well spent years in recovery Amber simply stared at McCoy for a moment.

She started to follow behind Jameson towards his locker letting him get a chance to load up on his gear having served with him a few times before she was eventually recruited to join GHOST and trusted him and were good friends. She looked around for a moment before speaking up crossing her arms over her chest. "I really don't trust her sir, I have a bad feeling something is going to happen on the surface other then the small Covvie patrol. And due to the weather down there may I suggest splitting up into two squads incase we get separated in the drop and meet up at City Hall?"

Andrea leaned herself against the back of the couch crossing her arms over her chest and stared Valeria down was that all she wanted a place to stay while her mother helped her get a new job downtown? "Well you know you can tell me. I won't lie though I was really upset I really wanted to tell you something but you were gone the day of graduation." Andrea said sounding slightly annoyed.

"Do you want something to drink or eat?" The redhead offered she wasn't sure how far Val had traveled or if she was hungry or not. "We have a lot to catch up on though you don't have to tell me everything though. And you can stay in the guest room as well." Andrea got up and walked up to Val feeling the air around her get slightly cooler she gave Val another hug feeling her freezing cold skin and quickly backed away. "Your freezing Val."
