I say ignore NK because your idea sounds way cooler. Unless you mean it just makes people not want to be around her, because we already have a character like that and he's currently trying to rape his roommate. (I don't know why, I haven't been paying attention to that) Also before you go NK, guess what I have? I'll give you a hint, it rhymes which bocconut cream pie
Ignore chux. He's a lovable noob. >:((((((((((((((((((((( @Avalant On another note, you don't necessarily have to follow my idea! Go for what you find unique for Carva. @chukklehed You activated my trap card.
Say hi to Karen for me.
She said "Hhhh" but I think she just tried to say "Hi" with creampuffs puffing her cheeks out.
-cries- I need sleep. Someone is trying to tuck me in, and I pity her for being unable to drag my wheelchair to my bed. Night y'all! EDIT: If there is anything else that you need to tell me, tell me. I will accept any talk with open arms.
I will politely decline to adjust my tone for my job, for several reasons. I talk like this when I might become emotional because it's infinitely better than yelling and screaming, and provides a possible basis for continued civil conversation. People can change, but I'm coming up from rock bottom and Rome wasn't built in a day. I have been nothing but cordial, and have carefully selected my words. It's the content of the phrases I use, not the phrases themselves that are at fault, and the content will not change no matter how I sugarcoat it. My job here is to be the strong arm, not to be liked. If people want to like me because of who I am when I'm not doing my job, that's fine with me, but I cannot point out people's flaws without being at least a little "mean". Finally, anybody who gets angry enough at my criticism to quit outright probably isn't worth the effort to play with. A good RPer can adapt to any situation in or out of character. This is the internet, people get angry. Obviously because Ava is countering my points with her own points (swearing nonwithstanding), She is of the type who can not only adjust to it, but give as good as she gets instead of simply giving up. I respect her quite a bit for that. That said.
Too bad it took less than one second for Rome to fall. I never said anything about you changing the strength of your voice. What I'm saying is that your strong and aggressive wording is, no offense, bad. There is a reason why I, a man who is extremely aggressive in many situations, suddenly becomes passive when giving out feedback. By passive, I don't mean "ehuughhh i think its okay but its kind eh-ish but it might be okay cause... okay." By passive, I mean that my choice of words are not aggressive, but they get straight to the point regardless of how nicely I say things. There are things to hold back when you give feedback to those who haven't interacted with you that much yet. Now, when you're talking with people like me, I don't care if you use swear words because I know your intentions. It's more than just emotions; it's public etiquette that can be applied to so many real-life situations. You're a great Co-GM, even moreso than me and my experience as a Co-GM cuz athalia died, get it hurhurhur. For once, I ask of you to believe in me, as I learned this the really, really really hard way.
*shares popcorn with NK* ^.^
Incase my Edit goes by unnoticed; @Avalant "Hm... How about, instead of focusing more on Carv's (yes im fricking lazy screw you all) magic potential, you could perhaps focus on allowing her to mix some elements of her parkour abilities and her magic abilities. Or perhaps make her parkour abilities themselves strange! For example, you could let her sort of slither through walls that people would normally be unable to parkour through with her own summoned rats. Personally, mix-and-matching existing powers can actually bring out really weird stuff... and sometimes, really rare gems."
I'mma go git sum popcorn!
i hate you for doing that before I got to do that _________________________________________________
My one and only complaint about the character is that the power is taken from another game.
I'm literally using another person's character, if you think about it. EDIT:
Yes, we must accept the Fonz.... to be the Fonz is to be cool like the Fonz :D Like I said, I'm not taking anything personal, just pointing out what I perceived as "unreasonable" in the best light. I'm open to constructive criticism with reasonable claims. So then what should I change? I want to keep the basic concept of the powers, particularly the rats as it ties into what I have planned for various reveals of the backstory to my character and such. Any suggestions on how to alter the powers a bit more? I'm already workin on new names.

Indeed, I heard nothing about this roleplay being turned into a comic unless you talked about it on the Etherpad. Calling bullsh-t until there's evidence for it. First things first, let's take things Fonz-cool. chukklehed, you need to start learning how to use "assertive communication" over "aggressive communication." Because goddamn, I know you have good intentions on fixing things, but you need to word your explanations better without sounding like a super-p-ssed Judge Dredd or something. What you said could sound like a "you're f-cking stupid, get the f-ck out of here with your motherf-cking sack of sh-t if you're not going to get smart, f-ckhead," which is what I might have thought you meant if I didn't know you that well. The red-colored statement doesn't sound that nice if you think about it. Avalant, it is good to find inspiration from other sources. Nothing is original. Everything is inspired by something inspired by something else. If you apply a magic touch of personal creativity, however, your character may seem more like a "inspired by X, except with noticeably unique quirks" rather than "inspired by X." Also, no matter how aggressive criticism may be, thinking about how to let your character pass off as an acceptably unique character would definitely please not only the Co-GM, but the GM as well. Destiny is a very, very nice GM (compared to me, who could act like a super duper butterfly-killing machine), but GMs like Destiny would probably be happy if the Co-GM's advice makes characters more unique. So both of you, be Fonz-cool and chill. Not all Character Sheets are accepted instantly, but there's no need to go ham when they are declined the first time.
I have made another Sarina! I hope this one will match your tastes better.
I must say I like re-texture you did on Noel. Has a Rukia-ish vbie though since Sarina wields a Katana, it is off since she does not wield Arcus Diabolus: Bolverk. Maybe you can a Mitsuru sprite instead or anything else that comes onto your mind.
Got it. I initially chose Noel due to Sarina's hairstyle, actually. I'll apply a recolor to Mitsuru.
