Absolute Comics - Season Two: The Monster Within

After having narrowed down my choices to Green Arrow, Hulk/She-Hulk, and Ghost Rider (while briefly being distracted by the idea of trying to bring Edward and Alphonse Elric into the game), I've finally decided to go with Ghost Rider due mainly to the fact that I have a story that should get me through at least one season of the game.

I hope to have a CS up sometime this weekend.

That said an Arrow, Icon or Hulk all my interest, but ultimately you should definitely go after whatever you have the strongest story for.

Out of the characters I listed Icon is probably the one I've had the least exposure. I was giving some thought at work as to what I want to do with Icon (and others) and the only thing I could think possibly doing was have go all Magneto and take over a small country which isn't very heroic.

I had a Red Arrow character I created for a short-lived game a while back. The character was greatly inspired by the Arrow series, and had a 19 yo Thea Queen in place of Oliver. She also had a strong dislike for Batman...

With Bumblebee I was going to combine the character with Shrinking Violet from The Legion, but other than that didn't have a story for her.

With the Fly, well, I just wanted to play a young Spidey-like character...

I have two ideas to make the Hulk somewhat different from the canon. But, the only story idea I've thought of so far is the creation of the U-Foes...

One idea I had for Ghost Rider was that a presidential candidate was actually a demon, and the Spirit of Vengeance goes after him ending in a very public battle.
Another idea, inspired by the comics, I had was that Satan (whom I'd be willing to say is a different and separate entity than Mephisto and Lucifer) has escaped Hell, but he is split into 666 souls. Ghost Rider would attempt prevent these souls from combining into one being and prevent Satan from manifesting on Earth.

I really only see Hellboy, Raven and Zatanna as supernatural characters at the moment. Compared to mutants, that's a market barely saturated haha.

I would add Blade (because, ya know, vampires) and Pixie to that list, as well as Magik assuming the character gets approved.

Wanting to join this, but having trouble coming up with a character.

Some of the characters I've thought have already been applied for or possibly will be applied for soon. Some characters I've thought of yet do not currently have a direction (story ideas) for are: Green/Red Arrow, Bumblebee, Impact Comics' The Fly, Rogue, Icon, and the Hulk.

The only character I've had any sort of ideas for is Ghost Rider, but there seems to be a good amount of supernatural characters in the game already.

On a side note: As a fan of the original New Warriors comic, it's cool to see someone using Vance Astrovik.

Also interested to see if the Thawne-Flash will end up fighting himself.

I decided to look at some other sheets before working on my sample post and saw Batroc mentioned in the Nemesis sheet. Does anyone have any ideas of someone I could use to replace him in mine? Any decently skilled b to low a tier mercenary would do other than Taskmaster as if I were to use him it'd be for something bigger.

The character I've been working for the past two days had that same origin!! I mean, everything else is completely different! Even the two souls of my character are merged and become one being as opposed to two separate souls duking it out for control as I've interpreted your character to be.

I knew I should have sent that PM to @Lord Wraith yesterday....
