Sirina felt a bit guilty as she watched Devon. Her and Pent were a lot slower... though she was slightly faster than him, and could easily keep up if she let Spud carry her wheelchair. She smiled as Devon said something about a Pokemon Center. "OH... yeah. Good idea!" she smiled. "I am sorry we are slowing down your journey, my friend." She shrugged as she continued to wheel herself along the uneven ground, grunting as she hit a rock and had to back up and re-adjust so she could continue.

Nana flicked her ears. <Not even a bit. No sensation from her waist down. It is as if she does not have legs at all.>

The Froslass, Aenir, looked to the Arcanine with concern furrowing her brows. <... it's as if she does not have legs…? Ah, how unfortunate, but… at the same time, perhaps it’s a blessing of sorts. You see, Pent can feel his legs, but… most of what he feels is pain... constant… pain…>

Nana explained further, <Yes, humans were quite smart when they decided to create wheelchairs. There are not many of them who are not mobile... but for those of them who aren't as mobile... it’s an easy way to move.> She flicked her tail, an amused growl bursting from her chest. <Actually... She told me that it happened to her before twice... and that she actually rolled her way down the hill to get it. She said that it took her a couple of hours, but she managed to get there. She said it was an experience she would not trade for the world... because it taught her that she can never truly be helpless as long as she tries to fight. Though… now that she is with me... she has no need to be afraid. I am her legs where the chair cannot be. If this terrain was rougher... she would mount my back, fasten her legs to my jacket and grab my mane. Spud would carry her chair, and I could maneuver her through the terrain much quicker.>

Aenir was both impressed and horrified at the story. Taking a few moments to regain her composure she let out soft chuckle. <I-I see! Well… you seem to take excellent care of her. She is quite lucky to have you and the rest of your companions at her side.>

Sirina blinked slowly as Pent spoke, wrinkling her face in concern. "I would not leave you on your own in the wilds." She vowed. In her mind, she wished she could do something to help the man. But besides giving her wheelchair, she had nothing. There was no way Nana would ever let a stranger ride her back. "Oh, Liza. I hope that I see you again soon."

Devon looked up at Sirina once she apologized for slowing him down, and her calling upon the fact made him feel even worse for even thinking about blaming both her and Pent for the hold up. A nonchalant wave in the girl's direction and a smile was all he could give. "Nah, it’s fine you two. It’s not like you can help it."

A small smile crossed Pent’s resigned features as he let out a sigh. "Though it's something I cannot help, does not mean that you need to make sacrifices for me." Closing his eyes for a brief moment, he opened them and continued speaking, "That said, I do appreciate it. I would be safe on my own, but it's more enjoyable to travel with others."

Turning to look over Liza one last time, Devon let his arms fall to his sides. The Pokégear still open in his left hand. "So, sounds like a plan. You gonna stay with us and head to the Pokémon Center Liza? Or are you gonna go on alone? It’s your choice dude."

Time passes…

[Pokémon Center - Route 701]

The night came and went. Pent stayed in his own room at the Pokémon Center, while also reserving rooms for Devon, Sirina, as well as Liza if she took him up on his offer.

Well, I was basically waiting for @BytheSpleen to post in the collab (if you didn't get the link let me know), but what I CAN do is post what we have for the collab, make it hazy on what happened with Liza, and just fast forward to the next morning. That way if they're busy IRL they can catch up when stuff gets less crazy. Light Lord is on a vacation now too so he won't be able to post for a bit.

Soooo I lied a little. Turns out it was too confusing for me to just post to Spleen, so... I guess someone else can start the collab off. Also, @BytheSpleen you're welcome to join the collab, just let me know you'd like to instead of breaking off with Liza until the morning. ^^

Looking to Liza, Pent flashed a smile. "Oh, right. Training! Oh to be young again...! Well, please be careful. You know, it's dangerous in tall grass, as I'm sure you know. As long as you're not too far away, Shinon should be able to find you if you get in trouble."

The proud Lucario nodded in agreement, tapping his fist to the side of his chest spike. <If you need any help, you merely need to ask for it.>

With Sirina's number entered into Pent's Holo Caster, Aenir pulled the device from the girl and moved it over towards Devon. <I do not believe you've shared numbers with each other?> Using Psychic, she gently lowered the Holo Caster into the teen's hands.

While maintaining a hold on the Holo Caster, Aenir shifted her focus to Nana. <I see... well, I suppose at this point Pent can still walk, even if it's... difficult.> Putting a wispy arm to her face she furrowed her brows. <What do you mean she has no sensation in her legs... you mean... she cannot feel them? At all?> Looking over to Pent, the Froslass let out a soft sigh, <Though I know that he would never consider it... Sirina's chair seems quite helpful, and allows her almost full mobility...> A chill ran down the Froslass' spine. Ironic? <Having her wheelchair... roll away like that... must have been horrifying. I can only imagine, if Pent did use one...> She shuddered.

Pent let out a half-hearted chuckle, his words aimed towards Aenir, "You know, it's not polite to speak about someone behind their back." Aenir froze, her face turning a bright pink.

Sirina's words regarding his pain caused a sad chuckle to escape Pent's lips. "...I suppose that's not inaccurate." Closing his eyes, the man shook his head when the brunette offered up her wheelchair. "I appreciate your offer, I really do, however... I'll be fine. If you both would prefer to go on without me, I'll be fine. I have Shinon, Aenir and Jill by my side."

Devon's thoughts on the matter caused Pent to hang his head. "...Only if you are certain. I'm sure you're both hungry..." Despite speaking, he continued trudging along, carefully placing his cane to offset his weight as much as possible, while still somehow avoiding rocks and other terrain differences.

Still smiling somewhat, he nodded when Devon went over the area map. "...I'm slow, but I... can only imagine we'd make it there by nightfall. All right well... I suppose that's a plan, then?" A soft, dejected sigh escaped Pent's lips as he looked Liza in the eyes. "Oh! And... As for a chiropractor... I'm afraid that would do me little good. I have a rod in my spine which is unmovable, as well as a few rods in each of my legs..." Trying his best to smile he regarded Liza, "I do appreciate your concern, though. Thank you. Please do be safe... I will take your number from one of these two here if you wish to make haste..."

Okay, I've got to fix this time skip deal here. Whenever @Light Lord @Ninian @Draconequis @BytheSpleen @Ciphra @1Charak2 get to the point my characters are currently at, I'm gonna do one final time skip to morning, so that way everyone is caught up. After that, I'm gonna severely limit time skipping unless it's just convenient for the group as a whole. Also, until that point, I've kind of run out of things to do with my characters besides player - player interaction, so I'll be fully switching over to Royal Skies and the Ranger Union until something happens.

Before reading this post I was about to suggest a time skip for my group to reach the Pokemon Center since we're behind and the time mess is becoming a shitshow. We can just have everyone reach the Pokemon Center late evening, I guess? I mean I want to make sure everyone is fine with this. We can also do like a time-skippy collab or something if you guys want to write stuff out. I know Light Lord is fine with just skipping.
