Roleplay Interests: Star Trek, Final Fantasy VII, Pokémon and FFXIV. Pretty much exclusively right now. Doctor Who if you can sell me on a plot idea. I am very hesitant to roleplay in an original world, because I enjoy fleshing out my characters, and a lot of times original worlds lack a lot of the information I need to effectively roleplay. I roleplay PG-13 scenarios. I'm 30 IRL, but mature themes just aren't my cup of tea in general. If you desire more, I’m open to conversation. I tend to avoid relationship-based RPs, though some of my characters are more prone to it than others. I have no control over Emet-Selch—he does what he wants.
Roleplay Style: For the most part, I can't RP a child. Which of course is entirely awkward for most Pokémon RPs, so on the whole I'd much prefer to RP a Pokémon instead of a Trainer. I also largely RP males, though I've been known to play other things. I'm also entirely fine RPing Canon characters of my preferred Fandoms, and I like to think I do a good job? You can expect two paragraphs minimum from me, pretty much universally, with no cap. Sometimes I won't shut up. That said, I try to write concise posts—meat and potatoes. Once upon a time I wrote in purple, but I really don't have time for that anymore. With certain partners I can do bursts of rapid-fire, but at that point my responses will shorten.

Parting her maw in some futile attempt to explain herself, it was about then that Delsin Grey attempted to speech check his way out of the situation (not that Renamon would have understood what that was, had she known, anyway). Taking a gulp, her jaw hung as he tried to talk his way out of a very, very obviously hopeless situation.
Once he finished she made her way over to him, and patted him on the back in the way a mother or teacher would to an out of line child. "Oh Mammothmon, Delsingreymon here is clearly delusional! And uh... Human? What's... That's..." Pausing for a minute she put a paw to her lips, "Oh, right, Susanoomon wants to kill them right?"
Putting her paws together, she looked over Delsingreymon. "Anyway, Delsingreymon hit his head, and thinks this is all a dream. I was very kindly trying to insist upon the fact that it is not a dream, and that he needs to be more careful." Gesturing around she smiled, "You know, there's dangerous Digimon around here. Which is actually why I was going to try and find a place to stay, I'm new here and all. If you're familiar with the area you should really show us somewhere safe to stay. Preferably somewhere warmer."
Flashing her warmest, non-terrified smile she looked up at Mammothmon, "It would mean so much to me."
@Light Lord <It's all good. At least you scared those food snipers away. Can't stand them.>
His eyes widened, a confused look upon his face as his new Trainer picked him up. <Not gonna get used to that. And uh...> Considering the name for a moment, he let out a happy chirp, <Sounds good to me!>
The resident translator smiled at the Starly's response, "He seems agreeable. Ace it is."

Getting your hair cut... between grading, and... I simply didn't have the time to do much else. So, my hair suffered as a result. However, after a certain length it... well, I would like to think it looks all right. When I was unintentionally growing it out, however..." The man shivered. "Let's say I've... looked better."
@Light Lord As Delsin began speaking, Renamon's calm demeanor changed. Her eyes widened, and a look of panic crossed her visage. "W-Wait. Waaaaaait. N-No..." The Digimon's pupils contracted, as she took a few steps back in a stagger. "N-No, I was wrong. I do know what a human is, but they d-do not normally reside in the Digital World."
Unfortunately, she wasn't able to answer his questions in full. "...to answer your question, Digimon use data to Digivolve. I'm... sorry I can't be of much help. I don't know where you came from, but... You're here. You... you're going to wish you weren't here."
@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo Ember's revelation caused the Kirlia to tilt her head, a mildly confused expression upon her visage. "Wait... you don't like parties? I mean, how's it different from a crowd? I'd understand stage fright that's uh... something I had to deal with a while back, but it's just a party! We could like... I dunno, grab food and hide in one of the other rooms too."
Hanging her head, Lilisette continued, "I just... don't want to have a party without you and Selena, you know? Why don't we find her and maybe make a decision or something as a group. Plus the food looked really really good."

@Light Lord@Shiny Keldeo Once Glyph took his leave, Robel eyed him for a moment, as he watched him gather a plate of food, and head towards Relm, the Troupe's leader. Letting out a sigh, he thought to himself, I understand you're taking this seriously, but you have no idea what you're up against...
Waving over the Guildmaster, the Sylveon grinned, "Ah, Glyph! I thought you might not make it over here! You're quite popular, you know." Flashing a smile, the Intertwining Pokémon put down the bun he had been snacking on, gently withdrawing his feelers. "Thith ith quite the featht! Thank you, and thank your wonderful guild memberth for me too."
@Light Lord "A human? Hmmm... well, if you're in fact not a Digimon, that presents more questions than it answers." Putting a claw to her lips, her brows furrowed in contemplation. Human, that word sounds familiar, but... why can't I place it. I'm sure it will come to me... Taking a breath, she opened her maw to speak once more, "So you're apparently not a Digimon, and not from around here? Which I suppose would make sense, since only Digimon live inside the Digital World..." Trailing off, she thought for a moment before continuing, "Anyway, your statement regarding the Civil War is correct. There's been plenty of casualties, and both sides seek peace, so the entire situation doesn't really make much... sense to me."
At Delsin's extended hand, the Digimon blinked for a moment, not really sure as to what he was doing. "Well, yes I'm a Digimon. You can call me Renamon; everyone else does." Frowning for a moment she repeated his name, "Delsin Grey... what a curious name."
@Light Lord Tilting her head somewhat, she raised a brow at the apparent-male figure. Is he seriously confused...? After deliberating for a few moments, the bipedal fox put a claw to her forehead, and then began to recited the word's definition, "Neutral: not helping or supporting either side in a conflict, disagreement, etc.; impartial."
Removing her paw, she crossed her gloved arms, looking directly at the being before her, "In simpler terms, I'm not taking part in this ridiculous Digital Civil War. So... regardless of your affiliation, I don't really care? I'm not here to pick a fight, unless you really want to. But, given your confusion..." Trailing off she frowned, averting her gaze to the ground for a moment before refocusing her attention, "...Anyway, I haven't actually seen one of your kind before, so I'm curious; what kind of Digimon are you?"
Padding through the forest, a yellow, fox-like Digimon let out a small sigh. Finally, I thought I'd never find neutral territory. At least I think this is... it's peaceful. Food seems to be fairly plentiful. I'm certain there's water around here... but I should take a look, just in case.
Everything seemed quiet. Ears pricking, she was fairly certain she heard footsteps in the distance. They were slow, and didn't really worry the Renamon much, however. I wonder who lives all the way out here... Oh, and I should find shelter too while I'm searching for water. A cave would be preferable, but I'm not sure if I'll be so lucky.
Continuing through the forest, Renamon took in her surroundings. There appeared to be fruit-wielding trees. Pausing for a moment, the Data-attributed mon straightened herself out as much as she could so that she could reach the delectable fruit. Picking one, she began to snack on it as she pressed onward.
The distant, slow sound of footsteps from earlier grew closer. Renamon considered taking a path that would avoid any sort of confrontation, however, it was not so. A strange figure appeared in the distance. It was unlike any sort of Digimon she'd ever seen, and it was holding an odd piece of technology she didn't recognize. It seemed quite lost. Not that she knew her way around this particular area either, but there was something different upon its face. Was it fear? She wasn't exactly sure.
Making her way over towards the black-haired biped, she waved her free hand. "I'm neutral, don't worry." Well, she hoped that wouldn't be a cause for worry. Perhaps that fact might help relieve whatever tension the grey-garbed figure was undergoing.
"Wait, what? Humans don't have typing? How is that even possible? You sure you guys aren't just like Normal or something?"
Her confusion was brought to a halt when she heard Ember's voice. Or rather, her confusion just took on a different form. "Woah! Ember, that was easy." Pausing she continued, "WAIT WHAT? Ohhhh no, oh no, I hope he didn't notice us. I don't wanna be roasted by an angry Fire-type." Why she thought that Pokémon was specifically a Fire-type is anyone's guess.
Chiming in on Devon's words, the Kirlia nodded, "Uhh... yeah, like the adults were talking, and said how the first Guild dinner was like this big party thing and super important. Soooo.... yeah. Plus I guess it's an extra big party because of the dancers."
Personality: Generally, Renamon is rather cold, methodical and curt, but not necessarily callous or cruel. Blunt to a fault, her cool attitude can be off-putting and sometimes interpreted as rude. She does not trust everyone—not even her partner. Trust is something to be earned; if even that.
She can be quite manipulative, as well as forceful and demanding when she needs something. That said, Renamon does have some compassionate and empathetic moments. In simpler terms, she is somewhat tsundere.
This Renamon demonstrates a high level of intelligence. In both an academical sense, as well as having sound judgment in practical matters. In tense situations, she is often able to quickly make the right decision.
@Light Lord Tilting his head, Nasir stared at Shock wide-eyed, "Are you certain it would evolve to be... large enough to carry Devon? That would be quite the feat..."
The Zoroark's gaze followed his Trainer's arm as he pulled out medical supplies, along with food. "Devon, have you thought of a name for our new friend?"
In a flash of white light, the Starly let out a startled cry, as its eyes whirled around, unable to do much of anything. Once he felt the healing liquid, he finally managed to focus on Devon who was holding out a handful of food. <W-W...? Oh. Food. Well, I guess the pain was almost worth it for free food. Sure. Thanks.>
Righting himself, he brought himself to a stand, happily pecking at the food, though he eyed the group warily. <I'm surprised a tough group like you would want a Starly. Can't say I can think of a reason, or that I really care. Free food, board and training? Sure, sign me up.>
Nasir tilted his head, "So... are you feeling better?"
<I guess so. I was already starving before your friend there zapped me, I think I'm just dizzy from that. And uh... thanks for the food. With those crazy goons everywhere yesterday, it's kind of been a problem. You know, stray Hyper Beams and whatever.>
