One Piece ------ A Pirate's Life for Me------

What? Aka had a hard time perceiving what had happened in front of her. She was pretty sure that she had pierced Lisa right in the vital areas. Forget about surviving that, let alone stepping back at a speed fast enough for her spear to completely not ignite at all. Not only that, it seemed to Aka that the retreating shots she sent to Lisa before the melee engagement, was completely useless in slowing her down.

Next, a fist is sent towards Aka, even when she was convinced that she wasn't within the reach of Lisa's fists. Aka hastily blocked that punch with her arm, and with one flick of her wrist, Aka created an explosion on the hand that she was blocking that attack with, hoping to send back the damage from the recoil. Just what the heck is this?

She wasn't so good at melee battles for one reason: she can't last long in such engagements. Sure she could hold her own in the short-term, but once the time starts ticking, she would be worn out and be an easy target for enemies.

"Yawnss--- just five more minutes, I promise, grandpa~" Kurokono rubbed his eyes groggily, sleeping against a tree in the slums. What a nice dream, this time travel thing ~ He woke up, glinting his eye against the morning sun. Wait, since when was his sleeping area that bright? "Gramps, close the curt---" He sighed at the realization his left side was out of sight. This wasn't a dream...? Kurokono rubbed his left eye, only to feel nothing but deep scars & burns in that area. His left eye was gone for good, gained from a turf war the previous night. A grim reminder to him that this 'era' is now reality. He rummaged his sack of goodies, digging out a cartoonish eyepatch with a picture of a duck that was clearly meant for parties. The items that was meant for fun, are now used in ways that he didn't expect it to be, as if they are cursed.

Placing an eyepatch on his eye socket, Kurokono realized that he can move his right hand (His right hand was fractured from before), its healed completely for some reason. The left eye was his dominant one, so his current vision of his right eye felt a bit blurry & sluggish to him. The only thing he remembered last night was the last thing his left eye saw. That eye was cut & burnt by Nick after he had almost sliced off Nick's hand. Now to think of it, he shouldn't have been that reckless by challenging someone with a broken arm. At the moment, Kurokono couldn't really recall what happened to Nick, or how he survived. Oh, and most importantly... are those girls still around here or right in front of King Enma already? He was thinking about Hamaguchi.

The more Kurokono thinks about it, the more he feels that the last night was his mistake. His stomach growled, "Damnit, I just want to eat Ramen...~" He stood up as he realized that he haven't eaten anything other than crackers & biscuits from the time he entered this world. "And maybe place some offerings in front of some shrine or Buddha to erase my bad luck -_- " He ranted whilst passing by Myst who also happen to be at the slums. Kurokono heads to the inn as of current.

"Ha, how fascinating~" Klaus muttered nonchalantly at the sight of the massacred soldiers, grabbing another bite at her declined potato, in both quality and literally. "Just in the nick of time~" Klaus let out a smile as she commented sarcastically at the sight of one of the last soldiers of the fort getting killed right in front of the Knights. Squinting her eyes against the evening sun, Klaus placed her hand on her sword, ready to be drawn at any moment. What the spear girl said was rather interesting. So they aren't really soldiers? Strange, tho this sounds like bullshyt~

Klaus felt her fingers twitching on the handle at the sight of that spear girl avoiding two well-aimed arrows fired by a fellow Knight, but then she restrained her primal bloodlust at the last moment, revealing a slight glint of her sword. And seems like somebody can't resist their urge against a fatass~ The scene of a Knight engaging the large Knight feels really off for some reason that she can't explain. In fact, the whole situation gives her a weird vibe, she had expected enemies of the state, but instead is some group of seemingly nameless mercenaries?

Klaus' potato on her mouth dropped at the moment her captain got attacked by the spear girl. Her sword drew out immediately, "Alexander, charge~" Klaus patted & commanded her horse, though that horse is a female with a clearly masculine name. Alexander the Horse charged at the spear girl, and at the last moment, Klaus leapt out of her cavalry as she headed for the main broken gate of the fort. Klaus knew that Alexander wasn't going to survive at a cavalry charge against a skilled spearman like that spear girl, but sending Alexander to her death as a distraction to that spear girl will give an opening for both Fanily & Klaus. After all nobody would complain since Alexander wasn't even Klaus' horse.

"BACK OFF!" Klaus sent herself to the main gate, her sword positioned behind her to hide the length of her blade from the front, ready to swing and cut at any moment. Its a stance more as a deterrent than a stance to kill. First things first, is to get inside the fort to get the clear idea of the situation, and second is to delay the second wave. This isn't as simple as a mere siege, definitely~

Aka realized that Lisa was chasing after her. She did expect something like this to happen in one way or another, as she sent a few javelins in front of Lisa. Those javelins weren't meant to kill Lisa, but instead it is used to buy time for Aka to back away to a more favorable ground. Things weren't so fortunate for Aka, the street she was in is just a straight wide street with no place for her to ambush. The end of the street is the Harbour, which is pretty much a dead end to her considering that she is a mere street gang without any boats for stowaway.

Impossible, that guy is still alive? Aka hissed as she turned back to face her opponent. Its clear that the Marine Lisa isn't any pushover, and would have caught up to her by now. With her back facing near the harbour, Aka pulled out her javelin, holding it tight with her two hands, using it as a spear seeing that kiting Lisa isn't an option considering how she's faster than Aka. "I'm not Bomberman, I'm Aka ~" Aka smiled as she thrusted her javelin towards Lisa's heart, as a last stand attempt against the Marines. She was ready to fall at this place, and had no regrets to what she did. Yeahh, just blow up as much Marines as possible... ~
