Just a basic idea for my guy would be Green Beret stationed over in Japan. Infiltrated the Hand and learned some of their ways and secrets. Not enough to be a full fledged assassin, but improved himself greatly.
He was found out and managed to escape back to America. He wants to join SHIELD because he feels that being an agent will allow him to take down the Hand.
I can have a fully developed character ready anytime.
