If you sneeze, fart and burp at the same time your heart will explode. In fact, that's what killed the dinosaurs.

Darrken's eyes widened at the site of the fish. He loved fish. It was his favorite thing to eat. Maybe it was the crunch of the scales and bones. Maybe it was being able to eat its face. Maybe Darrken needed professional help. Whatever the reason, fish was his favorite meal. He quickly turned his hand to iron and began to cook the fish, one by one, in his hand and devour them.

"Darrken." He replied through a mouth full of fish. He looked like a dog eating real gravy for the first time. "Get your fish now, before I eat them all." He slurped, still keeping a close eye on them both. Free food aside, he still didn't trust them. Well, the troll seemed harmless enough. Anyone that got him fish must be half-way decent. What the beast man said, he didn't know how to take. Darrken just shrugged his shoulders at him and kept eating the fish.

Darrken turned as the creature emerged and wondered to himself: "Why is everyone so friendly?" He huffed and threw the knight's body into the woods as he started gathering firewood. He walked up to a sizable tree and looked it up and down. Satisfied he had chosen correctly he turned his arm into iron and reared back and with one punch, fell the tree. He then turned the rest of his upper body into iron and began to break the tree into manageable pieces of firewood.

Once he was done he piled up the firewood, took a stone and began to scrape it against his arm until the sparks caught the firewood. As he stoked the fire he eyed the new creature that had just arrived. He didn't appear dangerous or to have anything valuable on him. He had never seen a creature like this so he couldn't be sure of anything. He sat down facing the fire and both the troll and the beast creature. Watching them both. He wold be damned though if he wasn't going to be getting some fish out of this.

Darrken rolled his eyes, shook his head and smiled to himself. "I'm...good." He wasn't used to pleasantries. Especially not with trolls. Well not with anyone really. Everyone Darrken encountered was to be distrusted until they were killed or posed no threat. This troll seemed harmless enough and didn't seem to have anything valuable on him worth fighting over. So, with that Darrken decided to take off, but a small growl in his stomach made him stop. The food the knight had was not enough. Darrken had an idea, an awful idea. He had wonderfully, awful idea. He could could get some free food out of this troll. Alright, so it wasn't that wonderfully awful, but sometimes it's hard to think on an half-empty stomach.

"Tell you what...you. I'll make a little fire and you keep catching the fish. Then, if you share your fish with me, I'll share my fire with you and we can have some nice cooked fish. That's sounds wonderful right?"
It's referring to you. Sorry.
Darrken had just finished eating, when he heard a low rumble in the trees in front of him. He stood up and listened more intently. It sounded like a large animal stomping through the woods. The only animals he knew that didn't care about making itself known were bears and other predators. Darrken smiled to himself. He always loved a good fight. As he readied himself the noise got closer. It was getting louder and his anticipation was growing. Then, out trudged a troll. Darrken relaxed a little and eyed it quizzically. It was busy muttering to itself to see it. It plodded past him right to the water's edge. He watched as it attempted to catch fish.

His eleven side warned Darrken that trolls were dangerous and not to be trusted. While his demon side told him to kill and loot the creature. His eleven side piped up that trolls rarely had any treasure on them. To which his demon side gave his eleven side the middle finger. Darrken shook his head and decided to play it safe: "Hey there...you." He called out. "How's the fishing?"
Buck lay in the branches of a tree. Lazily puffing away at his cigar. Suddenly there was a loud "SNAP" followed by a low moan. Buck glanced over the field where he had set his snare. At first it appeared he had caught a person instead of a rabbit, but as he watched closer he noticed the person was missing an arm and blindly trying to crawl forward despite his foot being caught.

"Goddamn...things." He muttered under his breath. Now he would have to find a new place to hunt. He looked at over the land to see where might prove better hunting. Since the outbreak, Buck had to learn he couldn't just "go" anywhere. He had to analyze and contemplate his every move. As he scanned the distance he saw two figures on horse back. They were several miles from each other so were probably not together.

"Wonder where they're going, or if they're even living. Only thing out that way is Thieve's Landing." With that though Buck slowly descended the tree and got onto his horse. He decided to follow them at a safe distance while he looked for better hunting ground. Hell, maybe since the outbreak Thieve's Landing was a safe haven. Only one way to find out.

"Prepare to meet your doom foul demon!" The knight yelled towards Darrken, who was sitting on a rock fishing into a stream. Darrken ignored the man and kept fishing. The knight seemed to be perplexed and then angered. "Face me evil beast!" He tried again. Darrken still sat fishing. Darrken's lack of interest and concern enraged the knight. "Prepare to be sent to the foul depth from whence though came!" The knight yelled, rushing forward, sword raised above his head.

As the knight got near Darrken, he swung his sword down with all his might. Instead of burying itself deep within Darrken, the sword bounced off his skin with a metallic "THUNK!". The knight looked down in horror as he saw Darrken's flesh was now iron. Darrken threw down his pole, and stood up and spun around. "I was about to catch a fish!" He bellowed at the knight. Darrken's eyes had turned pure black and it seemed as if black flames shot up from the ground around him. Before the knight could react, Darrken thrust his iron fist right through the knight's chest and out the other side.

The knight slowly crumpled over, dead. After searching the knight's body, Darrken was pleased to find some food and a few gold coins. As he sat down to eat, he saw a fish grab his bait and drag his fishing pole into the water. Darrken sighed loudly. "Always when I'm about to catch a fish."
