Darrken looked at Araile and stroked the hair from her face. "No simple wizard will come between us. He would have to kill me before I would let anything happened to you." With that Darrken realized he had fallen for this woman. He was hopelessly devoted to her. He had never felt these feeling and didn't know how to process them past just falling asleep.

He told Araile that he was tired and if she needed anything to wake him up. He rolled over and tried to got to sleep as his demon side chastised him for caring so much for this woman. He didn't know what he saw in her, but he knew she was something special. She was something worth protecting. As he rolled over on his side and pretended to be asleep, he listened to her began to get comfortable. Her breathing became regular and methodical. He rolled over slightly and faced Araile "Until the very end I will protect you." He muttered as he fell into a deep sleep.

With that they both separated. They had experienced a series of emotions and didn't know how to process it. "I'm so sorry." Darrken exclaimed. "I just had to kiss you. Else I wouldn't have been able to live with myself'. They relaxed and got comfortable with their bedding situation. Darrken made himself at home as he got comfortable in the bed sheets. Araile slowly laid down and addressed Darrken. "I have something to tell you.Something you must know before continuing." Darrken looked at her: "No matter what happens. I will stand by you." Darrken readied himself for the worst.
