If you sneeze, fart and burp at the same time your heart will explode. In fact, that's what killed the dinosaurs.

He heard Alyson get up and walk over to his cell. He heard her soft voice tell him good morning. He thought about getting up, but after last night he felt like he was loosing his edge. Sure, he still wanted to escape, but his hatred for Alyson had simply faded to a mild dislike. He feared what it could deteriorate to. He laid there as she said a few other things to him, but he continued to keep his eyes closed. He heard her walk away and he slightly opened his eye. He saw her messing with something then heard and slow grinding sound at the far wall of his cell. "Here it goes." He thinks to himself. "This is how I die." He closed his eyes and waited. For what seemed like an eternity the grinding continued, but it never seemed to get any closer. Then the noise stopped.

Flynn popped an eye open cautiously. He heard Alyson say something about breakfast as he stood up. Alyson had left and he looked around to try and figure out what the grinding noise was. He looked over and saw that his cell was now doubled in size. She had pulled the wall back between the two rooms. He sat there puzzled for a moment. He got up and slowly entered the new room that was now connected to his cell. The new room was identical to the other one. He checked the bars on the door. These ones didn't budge at all. So it seemed like escaping from this room wasn't an option. He then noticed a small recess in the middle of the floor with small holes in it. He furrowed his brow as he leaned down to examine it.

It was just a few small holes drilled into the concrete, like a small drain. He looked up and saw a small plastic cube above the drain. It was a shower. It was too high for him to reach without jumping and he didn't know how well secured to the ceiling it was. He might be able to use the wooden cot to knock it from the ceiling. He saved that information in the back of his mind for later. As he stood there examining the cell, the thought of the shower turned from escape, to hygiene. He looked at his hand, it was crusted with blood as well as was his chin. He desperately needed a shower, but the only towel he had was dirty from being on the floor overnight. If he started to shower and Alyson came down, he would have nothing to cover up with and he couldn't put his clothes on while he was still soaking wet. He would have to air dry.

Flynn's desire for a shower ultimately won over. He stripped off his clothes and put them on his cot and walked under the shower head. He looked up at it and wondered how to turn it on. Suddenly water flowed from it onto his face. It was surprisingly warm. He had expected freezing cold water. For a few minutes he just stood there. Letting the water flow over him. It made him feel alive again. He had no soap, so he simply used his hand to scrub himself clean of dried blood, dirt and drywall. He then turned his face up at the water and just enjoyed the feeling of the water on his face for awhile. He was enjoying the feeling so much that he failed to hear Alyson come in until the water turned itself off.

He was facing the cell wall as the water turned off. "Damn." He swore under his breath. He began shaking the water off him the best he could as he was turning around. Then he noticed Alyson just standing there looking at him. Normally Flynn would feel a little self conscience, but, given the circumstances, he wasn't. He held his hand out and looked at her incredulously. "Towel."
Nice. I have my back piece full of Buddhist pieces. I also have the bat symbol on one arm and my initials in binary on the other.
Miles walked across campus heading to his fist class. He was the typical small town kid placed into a big city. He looked in awe at the buildings and all the people around. Where he grew up, he was ten miles from the closest neighbor and thirty miles from the closest store. He was so excited to be able to learn everything he could. He was an animal person, so it was his dream to be able to help animals for a living.

He readjusted his book bag as he strode towards the medical building. There were tons of people walking to and fro and he tried his best to find somewhere to walk that wasn't overrun by people. He didn't want to be late so he stepped off the sidewalk to go around the throng of students that seemed to just be stopped in the middle of the sidewalk.

He stepped into the the grass and brushed past a bush when his foot hit something. He looked down and saw two text books. He picked them up and looked around. Trying to see who they belonged too. as he glanced around he saw a girl kneeling a few feet away picking up other books. He scooped up the books and walked over to the girl.

Her back was to him and he knelt down beside her and held the books out. "Are these yours?" He asked her. She looked up at him, her face seemed a little sad. "Karah?' Miles exclaimed. She looked at him confused and stood up. Miles handed her the books and smiled. "You probably don't remember me. We sat next to each other during orientation." He looked down a bit embarrassed. "I have a good memory." He really remembered her because he had a thing for tattoos. He didn't know why, but women with tattoos were the most attractive to him. The fact that she was already pretty didn't hurt either. "So, uh. Are you alright? Do you need me to walk you to class?" Miles grinned sheepishly.
6 myself. I love tats.

Araile started the car and drove it towards the river. As Darrken followed her they walked past where Grankle sat by the fire as the Sasquatch meat cooked. Darrken saw Grankle looked at him. "Be right back Grankle. Save some for me." Darrken said. Araile stopped the car on the top of a small hill that ended into the river. Darrken opened the door for Araile and helped her out. "Stand back, I got this." Darrken said to Araile as he turned his skin to iron. He walked behind the car and backed up slightly. He ran full speed at the trunk ready to push it into the river. As he connected with the trunk the car barley moved. Darrken's momentum got him to the rear windshield. He looked up confused. Araile smiled at the sight of Darrken in the middle of the trunk. It wrapped around him like a belt. Darrken pulled himself free from the car and looked at it quizzically. Araile walked to the car and let out the brake. The car slowly rolled forward and into the river.

They walked back to where Grankle was sitting. Darrken introduced Grankel and Araile. They sat and talked for a little bit. Then a noise behind them made Darrken turn around. As he turned he saw the oddest looking creature. Like some bird snake thing. Darrken stood up and approached it. Being with Araile had made Darrken a little less guff. Normally he would have puffed out his chest and demanded the creature identify itself. Now, he just puffed out his chest and asked the creature identify itself.

As Araile mentioned the wizard, Darrken's dream and experience at the fire earlier came into his mind. He pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind. It was probably just a hallucination anyways. They got up and left the restaurant. They went back to the room as Araile and Remes gathered what belongings they had and left the room. "I think if we just take the car in the woods behind the hotel and just cover it with some brush. That should keep anyone from seeing it from the road. Unless you want to completely get rid of it. Then we just dump it in the river." Darrken said to Araile.

"Yea." Darrken said. "A damned Sasquatch. I didn't know any even were around here." He heard Araile order a steak and smiled. "Steak huh? Great choice." He saw the server was waiting on him and Araile asked him what he was going to get. "Fish" Darrken said plainly. The server started to say something, but Darrken stopped her and repeated himself: "Fish." The serve walked away exasperated. Darrken turned to Araile. "We'll just save the Sasquatch for later." He said. "Unless that troll eats it all, but then again, it was his kill." Darrken thought to himself.

The food came and they ate it eagerly. They talked about where they were going after this. "We could take the roads. That would be faster, but we'd be more obvious. The forest is slower going, but better hiding. I'm fine with either." Darrken commented. He finished up the fish and turned to Araile. "Couldn't you just, fly us?"
