If you sneeze, fart and burp at the same time your heart will explode. In fact, that's what killed the dinosaurs.

HA! I had forgotten about that. Sounds good to me.
Max looks at swords and shrugs as he sheathes it. He looks at the girl and a small pit of fear starts to form. "No." He relies as he slowly walks the opposite way of the girl.
Dick lept from rooftop to rooftop. Doing aerial acrobatic along the way. He loved the feeling of the wind against his face. He kept his ear out for any signs of trouble. He smiled as he landed on a rooftop and tucked and rolled across to the other side. He stood up with a flourish and looked around. "No one?" He sighed as he peered out over the building. Suddenly he sees three guy comes running down an alleyway and stop midway. They all appeared to be catching their breath. He listened intently as the men spoke. He couldn't make out a lot of their conversation, but it was something about a woman and how they should go back and "show her who's boss.".

One of the men pulled out a pistol while the other two grabbed pieces of rebar from the ground and walked back in the direction they came. Dick quickly pulled out and tossed three birdarangs (birdarangs? yea, screw it) and tossed them at the men. Each one hit the men in the hands, causing them to drop their weapons in pain. He quickly lept down the building and landed a few feet away from the men. "It's late guys. Can we skip to the end of this?" He quipped as the men stared wide-eyed at him.

The first man quickly went to pick up his dropped gun. Before he could even get halfway, Dick lept forwards and gave him a hard right uppercut, sending him flying backwards, out cold. The other two men quickly bum rushed him. Dick caught the first man with a right sidekick to the face. He wasn't able to catch the other in time, however, and he wrapped his arms around Dick and kept running backwards. He rained down a few elbows on the top of the man's skull, until he loosened his grip. Dick then brought both his elbow down and his knee up to the man's head. They connected with a sickening crack as the man crumpled to the ground unconscious.

Before he could recover fully, the other man had shaken off the affects of the kick and was now charging towards Dick, throwing wild hay makers. Dick blocked the first few before ducking under one of them and coming up with an uppercut to the man's chin. It hit square on the man's jaw and sent him crumpled to the ground, out cold. Dick quickly checked himself for injuries. He winched as he stretched his arm up. "Cracked ribs, great. Guess no grappling up buildings if I can help it." He sighed as he decided to finish the rest of his patrol from the ground.
Yea. I'll give it a go. Sounds interesting.
It had been going smoothly. Almost too smoothly. His first week in Bludhaven he had stopped ten muggings and numerous petty store robberies. He wondered if all the big time criminals gravitated towards Gotham. He was almost bored with everything, but maybe he should enjoy it while he could. He stood on top of a rooftop and gazed out on the city with his binoculars. Nighwingulars? He shook his head at the thought. Bruce always had a cool name for his gadgets. He was sure he'd come up with plenty on his own, but he'd call Bruce tomorrow and ask his opinion on the subject.

Suddenly, something caught his eye. It was an unmarked white delivery van pulling up in front of the Bludhaven bank. He quickly folded up his, (bird eyes? No, still no good), and swung using his grappling hook, (bird claw? No, not the time right now) to the top of the Bludhaven bank. As he peered down he saw a small group of men get out of the van. They opened up the back doors and pulled several bank robbing tools and headed up the steps.

He shimmied down the building and landed on top of the truck. "Hey guys." He said standing up. "Do you have cool names for your bank tools? I'm stuck on some names for my stuff."

The men turned around and furrowed their brow at the sight of him and looked confusedly at each other. "The hell it that?" One said to the other. "I think it's that Batman wanna be that's trying to clean up this town." One replied. They laughed as their put down their tools and reached for their guns.

"I don't like being laughed at guys." Dick replied as he chucked a gas pellet in the center of the men. The smoke quickly released and the men doubled over coughing. Dick quickly went to work immobilizing the men. Before the smoke cleared, he had all the men tied back to back and arm to arm. He then grappled back up the building, took out his cell phone and quickly called the cops to his location.
I like drawing it out. More time for a good build up. And I absolutely LOVE the idea to include Red Hood. He's one of my favorite Batman characters.

I like it.
James listened intently as he the typical sequence of events followed. Police were called and took a statement from the man. As only cash was missing from his wallet, it's considered a petty crime. So, the cops will just "keep an eye out" for the thief. James smiled as the man cured at how little the police seemed to care about it as James could hear him walk away from the area. After a few minutes, James peeked his head over the edge of the building. Looking out, he saw that everything had seemed to return to normal. Confident he was home free he teleported back down to the other end of the alley he had run down to case the other side of the block.

He stood there casually as he watched the people walking up and down the sidewalk. This wasn't home to a nice cafe like behind him, but he could do some basic pick pocketing. He often wondered if his own self-confidence would ever get him into trouble sometimes. It was great for pulling off con's, but maybe his was getting too brazen for his own good. He laughed at the thought. "So what if I'm barley a block away from where I just robbed a guy? I can teleport away worst case if anything happens." He thought smugly to himself.
