If the Earth is flat, then how does one explain tens of thousands of people all across the globe in various space agencies not ONCE leaking that it's all a lie and everything's flat?

Bio
I'll be honest, I don't wanna put a bio up cause I'm afraid I'll scare people off by writing plainly, but not really interested in taking a bunch of time for am that formatting.
So if ya wanna chat, do send a PM!
If you're a friend of mine and wanna see the bio filled, and wanna write a truthful description of yours truly, lemme know! A description from a third party is alwayd the best kind.
It was a relatively simple action, that required little to no effort on his part. And it wasn't anything too powerful, either- it was a simple compulsion spell, telling her that she couldn't move, that she didn't know how to move. And that she couldn't escape it. Any magician with basic wards would be able to shrug it off, as well as a mundane with extraordinarily strong will, or a stronger will in a person of magic. This girl knew so little about magic that it was nonexistent, because, for her, i twas.
He turned to her, slowly, and replied, "Yes, very generous of me. I could use you for magical experiments, if you're so against going to Whitehall."
He paused, before resuming to eat another forkful of food. Chewing thoughtfully, slowly, he resumed his talk.
"Cease your disrespect. I don't demand you to bow or any of the sort, but I do expect respect. There are few in this land who would stare me in the eyes, and much fewer who are of an equal status as myself. Learn which fights to fight, and when to stop. Or you'll displease someone with a much lesser tolerance of you."
He released the spell as he went back to finishing his plate.
"When you're finished, wave to Priscilla. She'll take you to get outfitted and the like."
He turned away in what could be none other than a dismissal, surveying his servants somewhat apathetically.
@Belle I could always have Valence try to steal her away to his rebellion.
[@Everyone] I think I'm going to rejoin the roleplay, provided everyone is okay with it. I am @WilsonTurner, so his characters are mine, and I'd like to retake them and use them again.
Sunder paused for several long moments, mildly aggravated and annoyed at the girl's tone and attitude. She was interesting, and there was a certain relief to her frankness, but he also didn't become a sorcerer to be mocked and degraded. He slowly turned and looked at her, a warning, threatening light in his eyes.
"A Necromancer planned to use you in his schemes, somehow. Simply taking you from him might have foiled a plot that could have brought the rest of the Allied Lands to its knees. More than that, sending you to Whitehall would teach you how to become integrated into society- meaning that you would be able to help fight against the Necromancers, in time, and you also won't be here, where I have to keep a constant eye on you.
"I am a Lone Power because I did not see enough getting down in the normal society of magicians. I am a Lone Power because I made it my goal to ensure that the loss of life to anything that I can stop remains at an all-time low. So, if you must know, you could probably attribute my goals to keeping a clear conscious. Does that satisfy you?"
Sunder turned back to his breakfast. If she insists on mocking him, he'll just freeze her, via compulsion spell. Given what he's observed, being absolutely unable to move without any way to get out of it would probably be enough to stop.
Age: Appears to be around 22, her real age is unknown only to herself. She struck her own name from any writings and family trees. She's simply been in the Silvergale family and territories for as long as most of the younger generations have lived, caring, protecting, and forging.
Gender: Female
Race: Pure-blooded Silvergale Dragon, at least a generation older than the current lord, but with any claim to the 'throne' forfeited.
Weapons: A single khopesh, as her primary mastery weapon, or a two-handed greatsword, or a iron-core steel-tipped quarterstaff
Assyrah is roughly 5' 3" tall, and appears to be smaller and weaker than many others. She's one of the few that resembles humans more than more of the dramatic/colorful dragons, and one of the few that don't mind the resemblance. Everything she wears is handmade by her own two hands- knitted, tanned, forged with resources she herself scavenged, looted, or collected. She uses her own dragonflame for her forge, and occasionally makes a sword's handguard or a section of armor out of her own scale.
Calm, collected, and independent. While other dragons are free-spirited or burdened with responsibilities, Assyrah has made herself clear- she will contribute to the clan, and she will work hard at all the things she does. However, she does it her way- not in a dictator sort of way, but she does not appreciate anyone telling her what to do, or how to do it. She's nice and she cares, but she also doesn't want anyone to rely on her- because it'd ultimately chain her down. The only exceptions are those obligations- if someone saved her, for example, she would be obliged to pay it back somehow.
Some three hundred years or so earlier, Assyrah was the lastborn child of nearly a dozen children. Her mother died during her birth; thus, her father had the burden of too many kids (whom he and his partner managed well, until she died) and a devastating loss. With so much stress, he took it out on the easiest and most vulnerable victim- Assyrah. From an early age, Assyrah was a target of her father's grief, and while her brothers and sisters were supportive and ultimately her friends, it didn't help the fact that she really didn't have parents.
So, Assyrah became independent. She refused to harbor a grudge against her father, who eventually recovered from his grief and spent a notable amount of effort trying to make it up to her. By then, she was independent enough to simple... accept it and move on. She didn't blame him, but she never had any love for him, either.
Over the years, her family had spread out, until only a brother and sister remained within a day's traveling distance. All throughout, she had gained a new father- an aging forgemaster that was reaching the end of his impressively long life. From him, she learned her trade- and learned to craft everything she knows.
The forgemaster died some years ago, and when he did, Assyrah searched. She went and found every instance of her name mentioned, and removed it. She made herself into a ghost among the books- only those who knew her personally really 'knew' about her. And she's kept it that way, and intends to continue doing so.
Other: - Renowned Craftswomen- many come to her for higher quality blades, bows, and armors of various kinds. If someone has a prototype weapon, they come to her to make it. - Renowned Caretaker- She's raised many of the younger fledgling dragons for years, teaching them morals, honor, blades, and dragonfighting. - Aloof- No one's close to her, and no one really knows her personality. Everyone knows her reputation, though.
