Alex had stepped away as soon as the dust began to blow, using a building as partial protection.
When she stepped back out, the Rat King was rampaging, and the swarm was otherwise retreating.
Seeing the beast clearly, without any swarm in the way, Alex raised an eyebrow in shock.
One body dead, the others injured, but the thing kept going.
There's a week spot somewhere, Alex thought, studying the thing. Four heads kept it from being ambushed it otherwise surprised. Levitation keeps it mobile. Singular entity, really, with multiple bodies. So they'd have to communicate, and while mentally is possible, I'm going to bet that the tail connection is the most important aspect.
Alex opened a doorway on the edge of the battlefield, and it's companion opened above the Rat King.
"Use the portal! Hit the tails from the blind spot, it's got to be the weak spot!" She yelled to the assembly of heroes.
