Still here, sorry if I haven't been talking.

I've been, uh...place.

So i've been thinking about how to apply solidification and / or replenishment of memories. The conclusion that I have drawn is this: Sometimes a post will contain an event or place with subtle or slightly more obvious reference to a memory (lost, or still present) belonging to a certain character. If whoever is playing said character notices this reference, PM me immediately and your character will be awarded appropriately. This may come in the form of returning a lost memory, or the manifestation of a memeria based on the memory referenced. You'll have to make sure you're on the ball for this, and read carefully.

Sounds like a cool idea. I think I may give the Prince a few more memories, just to solidify his believing he was nobility/ a prince.

I can't wait either, i'm going to start work on the opening post tonight.

Just so everybody knows, the IC is going to start with each individual member of the cast –for one reason or another– catching sight of the Turncloak Blade. This will be to speed along the process of all characters encountering each other; otherwise i'm afraid we would be stuck in a solo stalemate for far too long.

Also sounds cool- the Prince would probably believe that the Turncloak Blade knows the way/is part of/ is relevant to the castle he constantly sees on the horizon.
Memories

I am kneeling in front of a throne, on which there is no one seated. A man is in front of me; he looks like me, though his hair and beard are grey. He wears a crown, and looks displeased.

Memories:
Maldron is in front of a throne. A man with long grey hair sits on it, with a grand, golden grown, expensive and colorful clothes. His throat is cut wide open, and he gurgles as blood gushes out. Around him are bodies of the King's guard. The throne room's floor is full of warm, red blood. Maldron feels absolutely nothing.

Sounds like we're talking about the same person. That could be interesting.

Cool, thanks. Will edit and add momentarily.

Also, @OneEyedChurro, your character sheet makes repeated mention of Prince's sword's unusual weight and length. Out of curiosity, how heavy and long is it exactly? (Feel free to take this question completely out of context and quote me saying it.)

Aw. I'm really bad with numbers-

It'd pretty much be between a one-handed longsword and a two-handed blade, as if the smith couldn't decide if he wanted the wielder to use one or two hands and just stopped somewhere halfway between the two. It's also fairly thin looking but solid and heavy. Someone stronger than the Prince could probably easily use it with one hand, or switch to two to get harder swings- Prince usually uses one since he's got the lantern in the other. All in all it was my way of sort of alluding that the Prince is fairly weak and not a great fighter.
Done!

I'm really digging this- kinda reminds me of Dark Souls and Numenera.

If you don't mind, I think I'll pitch in a character, as well.
Yeah, I think what I'll do is have the Grand Triarchate head into Azraca (Meeting the Blind Prophet does sound cool) to try and scope out some suitable land to build a new Grand Ziggurat, all the while another team of Triarchates (probably some that are respected and looked up to or something) head into Vathcras and try and make something happen. Probably a wooden lesser Ziggurat. That's the perfect world idea, though.

Pilgrimage, ho!
It's possible but iffy with the Fulmen Nati. They are perfectly open to the existence of gods and pantheons other than their own, and they are also open to the worship of aforementioned gods and pantheons. . .Just so long as THEIRS come first.

Between the Hallucinogenic Incense, the rather well-educated Priesthood, and the fact that literally 100% of the population is Effulgent - it might be difficult to cram in a weirdo mini-pantheon with only one major god that doesn't carry any of the same perks worshiping the native religion does. I am open to suggestions though.

If you read about the Mazdacs, they are utterly insane but in a weird way they actually are tolerant and quite good at coexisting with other religions. Similarly to the Fulmen Nati they have no problem woth other gods. I vaguely mentioned that the Mazdac even affirms the existencd of some other gods, so Ternion could be a part of it.

Maybe your religion could exist in a sort of limbo, partially incorporated by the Mazdac to varying degrees? Some places might reject the Ternion totally, some might see it as a cult, some as a minor pantheon, some as nearing the status of Selijuk, etc.

The Vath worship a pantheon. Something I did deliberately since it allows for the incorporation of (foreign) deities. You can assume your god/goddess/gods are being worshipped in Vath albeit under a different shape or name.

@ClocktowerEchos
Hehe, piggy infantry.

I should also say that the thing I'd be having Grand Triarchate do is set up a new Ziggurat. @Cyclone, I could see him visiting your nation in person (With a supervising outfit of Oathguards), but @Terminal and @Sini, yours could be fun, as well; perhaps trying to set up a Ziggurat would offend some, though, and require he do it in secret/cleverly? That could be interesting.
