Back for my bi-yearly visit. Now where did I leave that thingy-ma-jig? Anyone seen that mish-masher? I think it looks like motivation or something!

...Al Gore, is that you? Have you found Manbearpig yet?!

Looking forward to fly over Europe and bombarding the pesky Russians and French!
Thomas smiled slightly at Darius's remark, pulling out his pistol and checking it himself too. "That makes two of us. It isn't much of a surprise that we have been expanding so quickly, even for our short time in space." Thomas said to the ex-mercenary, putting back his pistol in its holster. "No, us humans have our stubborn ways of reaching our goals, just like us Irishmen back on Earth. Anyway, back to the weapons, I doubt you'll need a silencer down there. From what I understand about the planet, highly unlikely we'll find intelligent life down there, most likely just the regular bacteria that survives the harsh climate. And let's hope that I don't prove myself wrong down there."

He scratched his eye-patch, grinning a little bit as he felt a small spike of pain come back, even for his medication. "And between the two of us, refer to me as Lieutenant O'Connol, not One-Eye, okay? It's not a name I take pride in, and don't ask why, and don't believe what Rane tells you."
Jakob laughed at Felix's answer, taking another sip of his aquavit while listening to what he said about her father. He thought back to his own father, or rather his entire family home in Norway, living under occupation just like the English were doing now. He had sent letters home, writing about the war in general as he wasn't allowed to describe the details of the 505th missions, and asking how things were back home. He did receive replies, but it was only his sisters that wrote in the letter, never his father nor his mother. He didn't blame them, and sometimes he wished that he had never joined the Wehrmacht, for now in his parent's eyes, even as their son, he was no better than the German occupation force back home.

While Jakob's eyes stared empty into space, Rudolf was still very alive and in the conversation. "I agree, the Allies are stubborn enough to keep every square of land they can keep, hoping for that turning-point in the war to finally strike back. Heh, good thing that day'll never come, bad thing we'll be sent in to clear up the mess." Rudolf chugged down the rest of his beer and ordered another one. And then The Question came, not just a question, but The Question he knew would come sooner or later. Yes it was something between him and Victoria, quite a few things had happened in his personal quarters that any teenage boy would die to witness, and he wasn't about to let the cat out of the bag yet.

"Pffh, and I guess you've also heard that Der Führer is having a thing going on with his secretary, Eva Braun? Meine gute Herr Felix, I thought SS men such as you would consolidated with the Gestapo before throwing allegations around...Not that I would mind, she does have quite a delicate bottom." Rudolf said, bursting out into laughter after a moment of serious silence, and drinking down the next beer he got. He had missed these moments, just being with his brothers in arms, Raven Squad, the best in the 505th.

"Speaking of rumours, as I walked past the office of Von Braun, I heard him speaking with some officer about something called an atom bomb. Can you believe it, the Allies want to bomb us using atom-sized bombs? They're mad I tell you!"
Thomas rolled his one eye at Rane's comment about the human race and their pride. But to Thomas, pride wasn't just a bad thing, it was something that had pushed humanity to their limits and driven them out into space. And within 20 years, the human race had become just as strong as other aliens, so who was to give human pride a bad name?

He didn't get to throw back a reply to Rane as Jason entered the docking bay, ordering the team onto the shuttle as quick as possible. Thomas took one last look at Val and gave her a nod, before he jogged into the shuttle. "Good luck up here, you'll be fine." He didn't know why he said those words, but a rookie always needed some way of assurance from a veteran, even if it was just a sentence. Still, it was better than nothing.

Thomas took off the big backpack he was wearing and strapped it tight to the shuttle's interior, not repeating the mistake of leaving it unbuckled in a high-speed craft and having it fly all over the shuttle. Darius had already entered the shuttle and was checking what Thomas recognized as a sniper rifle, and not a too shabby one either. Thomas sat down in one of the seats and fastened the seatbelts, looking at Darius and his weaponry. "Good rifle, they sure knew how to make proper weapons back in the day, didn't they? I hope you have thermal-sights on that, won't be easy to see life down there without it, if we run into anything."
Btw Konrad, do you history-approve my CS? :P
It would. Or should I say, it will be interesting.
Indeed, and the Scandinavians will not be satisfied by only Finland, they want to the entire Karelian peninsula to weaken Russia. I'm wondering how they will not stab/shoot/punch each other when they meet?

Edit: Finished my CS, though the Bio is not the best :/

Probably. But i think Dmitri and Gustav, as Russians and Swedes respectively, will get on swimmingly indeed.

Until the Scandinavians launch an head-on invasion of Finland. :P
Hmm, looks like I actually have to give Gustav some weaknesses...blast...

I'm looking forward to getting this going, well, as soon as I'm done with my CS.
I apologize too, I should have done it days ago, just haven't felt like it to be honest :/
