Greetings fellow roleplayers, glad that you decided to take a peak at what I'm writing here. As of lately I have been intrigued by the murders known as the "Whitechapel murders" committed by the person famously called "Jack the Ripper"; how these murders were done, the public response to the murders of these prostitutes who normally received so little attention, and the mysteries surrounding the man (or woman) who's identity is still unknown after more than a century. What happened to "Jack" after Mary Jane Kelly? Did he stop because he had achieved some sort of goal, did he move on to new hunting grounds outside of Great Britain, or did death finally catch up with him?

Nothing of this we truly know, but we can all speculate. And out of this I'd love to try to create a roleplay with a decent group of people, you guys! It could be about a group of policemen, private investigators or everyday-people caught up in the madness of murder, trying to find out who this murder is and stop him before he strike again. Or it could be about putting the pieces of evidence together to find a much sinister, darker and terrible truth about the murders, secret societies or even cults planning for evil deeds. Maybe people in America investigating the possible theory of "Jack the Ripper" continuing his work across the Atlantic?

Okay, enough of me rambling about this. I've already read and watched enough about this than is healthy for one man. Who knows, maybe by the end of this I'll go nuts and become the murderer himself? :O Anyhow, welcome to my interesting check, I do hope you will find this interesting!
I do not know how many have already shown interest, so I'd like to ask if there are still room for one more?
Is this still alive? I'd like to join if that's possible.
Rank: Lance Corporal
Name: Adrian Whitestone
Date/Place of birth: July 4th, 1918, London.
Character history: 'Rule Britannia, Britannia rules the wave' said the banner hanging over the mantle place in the Whitestone residence, hanging just between the pictures of the Royal family. It was these things which were essential parts of Adrian's upbringing just after The Great War, living in a lower class neighbourhood. His father, a factory worker most of his life and a veteran of the war, made sure that Adrian learned the struggle of the poor in the world, but also to love his country and everything good about it; democracy, industry, navy, and King and Country.

Adrian began working part-time in the same factory as his father while taking part of what could be called amateur-lectures at the Labour gatherings, his final goal being able to attend real university or college. And then Hitler made his moves. First the Rhineland, then the Kriegsmarine, then Austria and so on. Adrian, or mostly his father, knew this never could end well and convinced Adrian to join the Army. And so he ended up in the military in 1938 at the age of 20, waiting for the moment to defend Great Britain and her people if the Huns returned with their vengeance. A year later, it came.

His regiment was one of the first ones to be deployed in France, awaiting the coming German offensive that never came in 1939, while themselves eagerer to bring the fight to them. The 'Phony War' made Adrian angry with his superiors, stories from his father only making the similarities between the incompetence of British High-Command during the previous war and this one. Only difference was that this time they didn't stand a chance. Overrun by German panzers and driven to Dunkirk before being completely obliterated, Adrian ended up in a P.O.W. camp until December later that year after the fall of London.

Shipped back home just in time for a dark Christmas, his pride was severely harmed by the sight of German troops marching outside of Buckingham Palace, British fascists waving flags in support of Hitler, and the swastika waving over Parliament. From that day on, he knew that if he couldn't fight the Germans at the front, then he'd fight them from the inside. Only problem was to find those he could trust.

Human Resources, just the words brought back memories to George as he took another sip from his glass of whiskey. Yes he had, 'taken some liberties' with the temps when they had time, but it was not as if they objected. Only complaint he had was their bra-sizes were bigger than their brains, and none of them made for good conversation after a good time in bed, couch or whatever was available at that current moment.

"Oh yes, the princess! I had nearly forgotten, thank you for reminding me. And you are welcome, wasn't like anyone thanked me back then, or hit me over the head with the butt of their gun." George said with a mix of pride and annoyance, the latter directed towards Cassie. "At least my work goes clean, no need for trails of blood leading to a dangling corpse in a library."

George emptied the glass and refilled it with the Glenfiddich, as he looked at Drevan. "Those were the days, weren't they? Just like a Bond-movie, except realistic and with better one-liners. But the freedom to do what was needed, the true licence to kill. Anyway, what do you reckon is our next task? I'd prefer it if we stayed out of the Middle East, perhaps somewhere less zealots and goats?"
For a while now, London's citizens have been waking up every year to find the Swastika flag flying over Buckingham Palace.

Not to be a complete Nazi, but typo pretty much?
So we have four now. Wait for a few more or make an OOC?
How many players are you looking for?
Definitely interested, my good Sir! I presume we will all be playing members of the resistance, or will playing as collaborators/occupants be possible? Just asking out of curiosity.
