Back for my bi-yearly visit. Now where did I leave that thingy-ma-jig? Anyone seen that mish-masher? I think it looks like motivation or something!

...My face exploded into laughter. Just thought you should know, and of course we have to get our character high later on. Jamaica all the way!

@wired who said anything about him being bad ass or likable? and i'm not saying he's going to be a walking fucking tank, and in some ways e'll be easier to kill but if you don't know what those ways are then you're massively buttfucked...

Well then let us pray that neither of us wishes to kill one another. Wouldn't want my character to snipe you from afar now, would we :P

And in all honesty, I think we should let Shadow have the final saying on how his character goes, just since he's the GM after all. But if you ask me, then I'd say he can seem a tiny bit OP taking into account that "all" he has to do is to be careful to eat and drink. Might seem difficult enough in a world scarce with food and water, but perhaps add something drug-related or the need for certain medication to keep his already messed nerve system going?

Oh, and I like his teddy bear, you can keep that ^^
Well if you are going to stumble upon him, try not to make his condition any more un-stab-le, okay?
It might :D Who knows lures down in the dark depths of Meresti Station?

Oops, wrong post-apocalyptic world! But if the raiders decide to send back-up, then it's a good escape route :)

Might I suggest we make a map before we enter our next town

I agree, or I could take you guys on an adventure through the sewers :)
"Oh thank God that you weren't..." Adrian managed to tell Taffy and the man that had run to Taffy's earlier, before Taffy instinctively pulled the trigger of her proud shotgun, the pellets plunging themselves into the concrete wall next to him. Adrian jumped to the side in shock, watching Taffy as she suddenly realized it was just Adrian who had come to help them. When Taffy said back that they were on their way to team up with Twix, the drunk with the hat, for an counter-attack Adrian thought must it have been. Adrian smiled as he saw a light at the end of the tunnel, they could now push back the bandits.

-"We got tourists over here!" a voice from behind the duo shouted out, and with that a bandit came out of Taffy's back door, firing what must have been a musket. The bullet must have hit the man beside Taffy, because he was yelling out in pain and grabbing his ear, but luckily he was able to shoot back at the bandit with his revolver. "Run! I'll cover you! Just run!" Adrian yelled to Taffy and the man, raising his revolver to give them some covering fire. Click. Click. His revolver didn't shoot, and Adrian knew he didn't have time to reload it or just check it, so he quickly placed the revolver back in its holster as he remembered he had a rifle around his shoulder.

The rifle was a bolt-action rifle, it seemed 20th century from its design, but the most interesting part of it was a box on the right side of the bolt unlike other rifles. Adrian didn't have time to fiddle with it, and lifted the rifle up against his shoulder, aiming at the cover the bandit had ducked in. He pulled the trigger and felt the rifle give off a kick, a satisfying force against his shoulder, and hit the corner of the cover, surely giving the bandit second thoughts on popping his head out. "Come on, run!" Adrian continued to shout, pulling back the bolt and placing another round into the chamber of the rifle, firing another shot. Soon Adrian was behind the man and Taffy who had made their way past him, and after them followed Adrian who by now had emptied the rifle, not knowing how to load it. "Nice to see some friendly faces out here. Name's Adrian Whitestone, what's yours? And any idea how to load this rifle?"
Adrian would be running with them? I was thinking Adrian would give you two covering fire as you run away from the bandit coming out of Taffy's. Would be a good chance for him to test out his new rifle.
I don't see anything wrong with it, have fun with your shotgun :)

And agreed, there can't be that many bandits. By now they must have gotten enough loot and have exited the town, or been shot to pieces. On my part, you can count four to six dead or wound, not bad if you ask me :P

Sola, I take it that Taffy and Flint is running towards Adrian down that alley?
Feel free to tackle Adrian too, he did run out not taking cover after all :P
The sound of gunfire had by now spread out further into town, as it wasn't so concentrated around the main street and entrance. That meant the bandits had spread out, either because of losses or to find more loot, most likely both of them. By now Adrian had taken down three or four bandits, and injured at least two more while turning others into a retreat, the darkness had ultimately payed off in his favour, unlike that hammock. Oh, Adrian promised himself to never sleep in that hammock again, well if he could find a substitute for such a comfortable bed.

It had been quiet for a few minutes now, when suddenly Adrian saw movement in the corner of his eye, and he turned quickly around to see what was happening down in the street. It was a lone figure moving, only armed with a revolver, headed for Taffy's, not the bandit type. But he kept watching, as the man were taken by another figure, leaping out of cover to his surprise, he hadn't seen him with all that clothing. Adrian aimed at the apparent brawl, or at least what seemed like it, until the first man reappeared, unharmed, again heading for Taffy's. "Would you look at that, good thing I didn't shoot them both." Adrian said to himself, with a happy tone, as it seemed to him neither of the men had been bandits, and perhaps even planned on counter-attacking.

Adrian decided to climb down from the roof and head over to Taffy's too, he could always need more ammo for his revolver. But before he could take the last step down from the ladder, he felt something grab him by the leg and pull him down. Once again he landed straight on his face, but was pulled up again by what could be no other than a bandit. He was scarred and wore a bandanna, masking him from recognition (of you didn't notice the scars). Without a word, the bandit punched Adrian in the stomach, forcing him to the ground, gasping for air. The bandit laughed quietly as he was about to bend down to beat the living shit out of Adrian. Adrian wasn't going to agree on this, after having been stripped of his dignity more than once that day, and pulled out his club and swung it towards his face. The spiked bat hit perfectly across the bandit's cheek, causing him to take a step back, before Adrian struck again, and again. "Never...make a fool out of the guy with the club..." Adrian panted out, having beaten the guy to death with a club, which must have been painful. But he had no time to celebrate his victory, he quickly searched the bandit for anything of use; Ammo, knives, lighters, anything. He took the 9mm Beretta the bandit carried, a couple of magazines of ammo, and to his surprise a rifle that the bandit must have put down as he was to take care of Adrian. Adrian didn't have time to examine it, and just slung it over his shoulder before running as fast as he could to Taffy's, of course putting the sun-glasses back on so he wouldn't be blinded by the lights.

"Taffy, it's me, Adrian! Don't shoot, I'm coming to help!"
