Skyra called bullshit. Where did all that freaking water come from?

"Fucking hell. Playtime is over!"

Skyra hated such an amount of water, especially when she got wet.
But for the moment, she didn't mind the water at all, in fact, it was pretty beneficial to hide herself behind a curtain of water that she managed to make with her swords.
Using this, she threw up the curtain to fool the girl into believing she was going to hide behind it.
Instead she used her speed to quickly and quietly maneuver herself around the wall of water to slash both anchors in such a way that they got unrooted, where she hoped, the water conjured by the girl's semblence would throw herself off her feet.

Yep, seems like a good alternative.
I wanted to have something that made sense for to be bullied even more by humans and seen as even less human and the ears seem like a good point to start.
Don#t worry, it'll make sense later. I will, in future posts, describe her way from a murderer to a Faunus rights crusader.

Just because the faunus might have animal ears doesn't mean they don't have human ears. It's actually a very common precedent in genetics, organisms evolve with a new organ or something to do a better job than the old one but the old one takes another three thousand years to be edited out of the gene pools. Maybe faunus in three thousand years will have cat ears but no human but they're not like that now.

Plus you'd just look really creepy without ears.

I'm fairly certain, I heard something concerning the still remaining human ears from one of the crew saying that they were unable to remove them from the skeletons or something, since all their concept art shows Blake and Velvet without human ears. Later they just changed it, so that they do have human ears.

However, biologically it doesn't make sense for a mammal to have two sets of ears and I'm sure Faunus are still mammals.
Or at least, not both of the pairs actually work at the same time.
