Weekend was busy, hot, and tiring. I have stuff to do, and this week is looking to be a difficult one. This is going to be a VERY uncomfortable part of my life.

DAMMIT! SON OF A-! One of my favorite fanfics is stopping, because apparently it's breaking rules. Not only that, The fanfic I'm working on will have to stop too, since it's similar! This sucks! T-T

I got into another online argument about shipping again! I said that I ship Blaze with Silver, and they said that she'd be more likely to be in love with Sonic. I can't see how.

Bio

Hiyas! I'm Otomos. OTOMOS THE CRAZY! HYAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I've got a handful of years experience Roleplaying here and elsewhere, so don't think me a rookie! My Avatar once looked like a part of some sort of time-theme, but that's just Chronos after he was brought back to life and upgraded! My more favored avatar is either Dimentio or the Azure Flame God, but how does one resist a clock face?

But that's in the Past. Now it's a pic of Gwyndolin, the Dark Sun!

Prepare yourself for the Persona of the week/Month/Minute/Whatever! Try to guess which Persona it is when you see it in my Signature! This little tidbit starts within a week!

My return to The Guild could mean many things! A new RP, a revival of an old idea, my participation in the arena as a Low-Rank Grunt, but most likely my return means that I'll participate in the more recent RPs!

With that said, remember to eat your porridge and limit your fire usage (we are drowning after all)!

SEEYA'S!!!

I make posts on mobile all the time. Hard to do the colored dialogue, but I get around it.

Anyway, the first question will be completely serious, and the second thing will be even more so. So much so that the entire response to it will affect Yuki. So, in the words of Barett, "Don't **** up!" *dives into your body, joining the party*

(If you're wondering what the first question is, it's something about explanations on the magic of the dead gods and Zeltrax's corruption powers. You know, just in case you wanted to prepare the response before-hand... I'll go back to sleep now.)

I'm so psyched for this fight! It'll be like the Chuck E. Cheese incident all over again! :D
@PerseusArchean

Two thing:

1. Hecate's there, so Yuki's going to have her help in some way.

2. What does Hecate look like?
@PerseusArchean

The most recent problem had been solved. Hannah's wish was half-granted. All that was needed now was for Occus to awaken and return to his fae. Unfortunately, that would have to wait for another time, as the deity had to rest. The deity that returned his heart may very well be the Rhona that Yuki had heard about. Now that they had a chance to breathe, Yuki thought to finally ask for her name.

As soon as she inhaled to speak, however, some other person had arrived. Rhona was concerned, and was about to leave to help another once more. Yuki watched as the visitor cut himself, and open a portal to someplace else. He and Rhona prepared to enter.

"W-Wait! I never got to ask your-"

The goddess that might or might not have been Rhona had left. The portal closing so that her voice could not be heard, even if Yuki could finish her sentence. Yuki signed at the wasted opportunity. Formal introductions was a good way to Make friends, and with Claire being so distant to most other deities, Yuki could use all the help she could get to bring her around.

Suddenly, a squirrel appeared from someplace. With it was a message from Ratatoskr. It gave information on some things that have been going on in Yuki's absence. It seems that Earth and all that lived on it, we're at risk once again. This time by the machinations of an alien god that had restored the deceased ones to life. It would explain Hecate's presence...well. Hopefully she'd know something. By the sound of this 'Zeltrax', He may have a trick or two up his sleeve...if he had arms. There some deities that didn't have arms for some reason. Hm.

In any case, Yuki looked to Hecate, and -while hiding behind her hair and speaking in a very quiet, but audible voice- said,

"If I may, Hecate-sama...I have two requests to make of you...Would you hear me out?"

Meanwhile...

@Cuccoruler@rechonq

Claire blinked. If there was someone that knew where an alien thing/person called 'Amgarrack' was, it had to be an alien god of the same alien race that was looming it's/them. Of course, they'd have to beat the piss out him and force the info out first, but he was not only a bigger threat with his army of formerly-deceased gods, he was at the top of Cia's priorities list, so they'd have to get it done first anyway. With no clue as to where 'Amgarrack' is, Claire would have to settle for whatever leads she could get.

"Well, if this alien God knows anything about 'Amgarrack', I'll be happy to help out."

Though she was uncomfortable with the idea of leaving the humans and aliens with a ceasefire for longer than she'd hoped, Claire was confident that her sentinels would resolve any conflict in her absence. Yuki did spend an entire week making sure that she had the technique, with all its calculations and reactions fully programmed, down.

"Alright! Let's go kick Gilgax's ass!...I feel like I'm forgetting something."

Claire shrugged and moved through the portal. Surely it was just nothing.

Meanwhile (Somewhere else entirely)...

Miriam was ticked off and bored. Internet's out, she beat all the video games they had in the house five times over, electricity was out anyway so she couldn't play those games if she wanted to, and there was an alien invasion happening that Claire had forbidden her from taking part in. Reading was out of the question, since she had already read every book they had to the point of memorization and recitation, and crafting that Rifle Spear would be useless with nothing to shoot at!

All she needed to do was slice them all to bits before they get a shot in, and poof! No more invasion. Yeah, they'd need to build boat houses to live in while the blood seeps into the planet, but who wouldn't want to live in a boathouse for a while? The kids could play pirates. Kids love playing pirates.

Anyway, Miriam just sat in her chair, waiting for something to come crashing through the roof, so she could have an excuse to maim something. She waited...and waited...and waited...and waited until she could swear that she could hear Death itself mocking her for her inability to contribute to it.

Then a squirrel snuck into the house, and she almost killed it. If not for the fact that it had a message with it, she would've done so, but any form of difference was welcome at the moment. She read it once, and blinked. Read it again, and blinked. Then she smiled. She was going to get her wish.

Somewhere in the Underworld, mist began to gather...
@PerseusArchean I'm guessing that means Dr. Scientist will start rallying the humans while the gods and goddesses are busy?

"Miriam"

gender: Female

godly parents:
  • Mother: an unnamed Cherubim
  • Father: Kagu-tsuchi (Indirectly. A drop of his/its blood was used.)

sphere of control: Blood, Weapons, Mist, and Entertainment

personality: Miriam prefers to ignore just about anything she's not interested in, opting to play some game or stare at nothing and eventually fall asleep instead. However, when it comes to Claire, Yuki, and fighting, a plethora of emotions could rise out of her. She fights for fun, and often holds herself back in mortal fights by using a fragile human vessel.

When an opportunity to fight arises, she becomes ecstatic, excited, and crazed. This is usually calmed by her friends. If they aren't around, however, then she would most likely start many battles. Aside from that, the only times she shows any emotion away from her friends and battle is when she goes to a human convention of various fictional things. She is an enthusiastic expert on cosplaying, and loves to role-play on the internet on various sites such as this one.

sacred animal: Condor

powers:
  • Weapon Conjuration
  • Ammunition Conjuration (makes it a rule only to create arrows when using this power)
  • Red Mist Manipulation (Actually just mist manipulation, but the mist turns as red as blood when she controls it for some reason)
  • Mist Travel (can essentially travel to and from thick clouds of mist and fog)
  • Blood Travel (only when there's a large enough amount of blood in a given area)

weapon(s): Trick weapons (i.e. a threaded cane, a scimitar scythe, a bladebow, and a trick twinblade/dagger and katana named Rakuyo)

History: Miriam was birthed from blood. Deities may call it ichor, but it is their blood nonetheless. She was birthed from two drops of blood. The first was a preserved drop from a long-dead creature. The second was that of the one who raised her. A cherubim angel, whose name was lost to time. This angel felt that her own end was to come, and so she set out to create an heir. Her attempts were doomed, as the deities refused to accept a creature such as her, whose beastly appearance was...not favorable to them. However, the blind goddess known as Fortuna had admired the cherubim's attempts, and helped her. Fortuna gave the angel a vial that contained a drop of blood, belonging to the deceased son of Izanagi and Izanami. The one known as Kagu-tsuchi, whose blood had created a number of gods from the Japanese pantheon.

By allowing her own blood to mix with Kagu-tsuchi's, Miriam had been created with the body that her mother would have had, had she been born a goddess. Miriam did have a few quirks, though. While the Cherubim wanted her to live as peaceful as the angels did, Miriam was a violent child when unsupervised. When her mother had turned her back, Miriam went down to the earth, where the hidden amazons lived, and slaughtered all but two of them. Miriam would continue to use this method of killing warrior races and mythical beasts as a way to train herself in the ways of combat.

Her mother knew of them, and often scolded Miriam about those instances, but she loved her daughter too much. She taught her how to bend mist and fog to her will, and distracted her from chances of bloodshed with games. Even when she was at her most uncontrollable, Miriam loved her mother, and stood for ideals of peace and love.

When her mother died, Miriam was lost. She traveled from here to there, fighting and killing within every war she happened upon, until she met Claire. Claire took her in, and introduced her to the entertainment that the earth had to offer. The two would live together, even when Yuki arrived. The sister goddesses of the Dusk and Dawn, of Music and Dance, became her closest friends.

other:
  • She holds some VERY well-kept secrets. Ones that I don't feel comfortable sharing, for fear of her somehow coming to life, reaching through my screen, and strangling me to death.
  • She crafted her weapons herself, then became excited when she found similar weapons being used in her current favorite video game.
  • Fortuna, seeing herself as what the humans would call a "godmother" (heh) to Miriam, had blessed her with good luck in games where she played against others.
@Zelosse

Apparently it doesn't really matter now though, because Cucco turned Dr. Scientist into a new God that wants to wage a war between Humans and the Merged. Miriam's gonna have fun with that.
