Name: Deneb Astrologian

Age: 12

Personality: At first glance, it would seem as if Deneb was emotionless. That would be incorrect. He's a somewhat normal child, with the only real quirks being that he doesn't mind wearing desert apparel in non-desert areas and locations, and hugging his family heirloom of a dagger whenever he sleeps. Aside from that, he's just just really, REALLY shy. He doesn't really like to initiate any sort of interaction, unless it's absolutely necessary. Even then, whenever he's interacting with people, he keeps quiet out of nervousness, and puts on a mask of indifference. Sometimes this mask gets broken when people mistake him for a girl, which happens frequently. He gets flustered, and tries to speak up, but often doesn't make any sort of difference in the way others view him.

History: Deneb was born and raised in the desert sands that lay within the region of Unova. From birth, his parents took him on all sorts of adventures within the desert. His mother, a former traveler that had decided to settle down, taught him how to use the sky as a compass, and how to douse for water in their sandy home. His father, an archaeologist, took him to explore and inspect ruins whenever they had the chance.

They led a nice little life together, almost free of strange events. Of course, as fate would have it, a life of such dullness would not be the one Deneb would live. He would have to live an adventurous life of his own, even if he had to be ripped away from his parents.

So it was that a sandstorm separated them from Deneb, and left him to awaken alone. Though he tried to search for them on his own, the desert quickly spat him into the cities. Though he waited for them to appear again, he would be met with nothing. He would need to find a way to search for and reunite with them. But he would not do this in Unova.

Fate would send him to another place, a region completely foreign to him. It would have Deneb traverse it's lands for his solution.

Alexandria "Alexis" Deva

At the Lab

After walking through the streets of the town, Alexandria had finally made it to her destination. The Pokemon Laboratory. From what she knew, a Pokemon Professor was supposed to be there. He'd give Alexandria her trainer card, and then she'd be set to show the world what she and Snorunt really had!

As she approached the building, she noticed other trainers around it. She giggled in amusement at how hotheaded these people were. They'd certainly be interesting people to beat if they challenged her.

"Oh, look! These trainers are getting fired up. They're even battling each other! Probably to impress us. Let's get inside this lab before we get too distracted."

Snorunt rolled her eyes at the comment. To Alexandria, these trainers may just be stepping stones, but Snorunt knew that they were more. This was mainly because Snorunt knew that every person she and Alexandria will meet would be more than they'll probably think at first.

Alexandria hummed to herself as she passed by them, and found herself facing a Pokemon Professor.

"Hello! I'm Alexis Deva! I'm here to become an official Pokemon Trainer!"
