The Curse of Sonina

Sonina, Russia - A small and rural town where the people live in complete normalcy, nothing out of the ordinary seems to happen here. However just like with any small town, once you begin to take a closer look things seem not so...normal. Sonina has an odd history of disappearances, children and adults going missing without a single clue left behind. Many locals refuse to speak about them, children sing strange songs while playing and there always seems to be a thick fog lingering in the forest surrounding Sonina.

Within recent years a University was built and opened just outside of Sonina, as such more traffic has been seen within the small town due to it being the closest. It is obvious that the locals are unhappy about the newcomers, they claim that the peaceful lifestyle that they have worked so hard for will be broken. They scream and rant about how "The Shadows" will begin hunting again, that Sonina's Curse will take hold of everyone and everything.

This is the basic Idea of my roleplay - A bunch of college kids find out that there's more to Sonina than meets the eye. Whether its through some paranormal experience or encountering a seemingly unreal creature, the students begin to see things within their school and Sonina that weren't previously there. When students begin disappearing they feel compelled to try and figure out what in the world "The Curse of Sonina" really is.



1. You are not limited to playing a simple college student, you are free to play anyone who isn't a local to Sonina. This includes students from surrounding towns, students from other countries, teachers, reporters, paranormal investigators, ECT.
2. Not everyone has to be Russian, you can be literally from anywhere, this story simply takes place in Russia. Though do be aware that the residents of Sonina speak Russian and mixed English.
3. I want animated pictures, illustrations might be accepted as well depending on how they look. Be aware that pictures should make your characters personality and the time in which this roleplay takes place, which is Modern.
4. This is a mature roleplay and mature topics may be discussed. Drugs, Alcohol, Violence and other things will/may be brought up so if you are uncomfortable or hate any of these things than this roleplay may not be for you.
5. Every character will have a paranormal encounter with a ghost/entity while at the University, depending on what they encounter will determine how they will begin to see the world around them. A more severe experience will cause someone to see ghosts hiding in the shadows, dark creatures lurking in the tree's and so forth. I will allow everyone to choose what kind of experience they have, though not everyone can realistically have bad encounters.
6. I want an array of characters, male and female, some edgy and some not, preps, nerds, bookworms, teachers pets, jocks, frat boys. Be creative! Why did they choose this University? If they are abroad than why?

Jagger was originally part of a Pixie colony, however after much of it was destroyed he floated around. After a few years he stumbled upon Foxbridge.

On the outside Jagger comes across as flighty, arrogant, loud and energetic. He lets life move him and one of his biggest phrases is "just have fun." Due to his past he hates being told what to do and hates telling others what to do, it's probably why so many people enjoy working at the Cafe as the rules are quite lenient. Jagger has no concept of money and often forgets to pay his bills, thankfully he has a friend who manages the cafe's finances. His personal finances are a different story however. As a pixie Jagger loves to play pranks on people and sometimes doesn't realize that he can upset people with what he does.

What many people don't realize is that Jagger is constantly worried about losing those around him, it is a constant fear that is forever in the back of his mind. It is also why he refuses to get close to people, though some have managed to worm their way through the cracks. While Pixies have quite a bit of magic none of it can be used to fight for those he loves, he knows he is powerless and in the end - A coward

Jagger was born in Ireland to one of the largest Pixie colonies that existed at the time, he was raised with a lot of love and passion by everyone. His childhood was great in pixie standards; Making the world around them a brighter and happier place. They would charm humans to dance with them, heal children who were sick, nurture animals and of course playing the occasional prank. The area in which his family lived was quite well known in Ireland, humans were naturally curious and often ventured from far away to get a look at the tiny creatures who danced and simply had the best time of their lives.

This changed though when a group of Fairies showed up. While usually the two get along these particular Fairies were hostile and had a taste for evil, The Unseelie Court. The Pixies should have known to not resist but they had a strong attachment to their homes and didn't want to leave, that was a mistake. The Fairies swept through and killed many of Jagger's colony, he himself barely escaped, a large scar on his back is a constant reminder of that. The rest of the Pixies who did live scattered and Jagger found himself alone, for a long while he simply floated in a state of grief. Eventually though he did settle down near a small human town, though nothing was the same.

Eventually Jagger made his way to Foxbridge where he created his Cafe, his goal was to create a space where all creatures could have a good time. Where he could once again put smiles on someone's face, to create some sense of joy in the world. Very few people know of Jagger past, only those close to him know the emotional scars he bares.

To people who don't know her Asami comes off as an innocent, happy-go-lucky girl. She constantly has a bright smile on her face and acts like she doesn't have a care in the world. But if you took the time to get to know her you'd notice that a lot of what she shows is simply a cover-up. Asami struggles with what she wants to do and the fact she can't speak, she hates that people treat her like a child because of it. She tries to act like it doesn't bother her but every once in awhile her emotions betray her.

In general she does try to be more optimistic and understanding, but again sometimes she just can't. This happens a lot with her doctor, you can typically tell when she's had an appointment because she acts huffy and annoyed with everyone. Not being able to control her emotions is one of her biggest problems.

Asami is a very good singer, so much so that she was known for her bright and high voice. Not being able to sing has been hard for her to accept. After her kidnapping Asami had to find things to occupy her time, reading fantasy novels became a large passtime, she read through books like a monster. She also got quite good at the piano, if she couldn't sing than she would have her songs heard another way. She hopes to be able to sing and play at the same time one day.

Asami's biggest weakness is her emotions, she has difficulty keeping them in check and sometimes lashes out at her loved ones when she doesn't mean to. Asami has no talent in things such as diplomacy, knowing military strategy or anything of the sort. She's been sheltered much of her life and wasn't allowed to learn such things. She's also a pretty bad cook, everything the girl touches somehow ends up burnt.

Asami is a short yet slender girl, her small frame is highlighted by the fire-red hair that hangs just below her shoulders. More often than not she chooses to wear it down, she hates the feeling of it pulled up. She is quite pale, she's tried to tan but everytime she just looks like an overcooked lobster. She loves to wear bright colors including: Red, Yellow, Orange and white.

Asami is the youngest daughter of the Emperor of Hua'mu, as such she has no claim to anything of importance. But this didn't mean that her father ignored her, no he loved all his children. Asami loved and admired ber father, she thought him to be an amazing person. Asami thought this of all her siblings, they were all so confident and strong. But unlike them she had no desire other than to live her life in comfort, that is until she found her love and talent for singing. Asami had a voice like no other and many people called her "The songbird of the Empire". She wanted nothing more than to sing and inspire people.

When Asami was 13 however tragedy struck. A band of rogues had slipped into the garden where Asami was, seeing a princess they figured they could get some ransom money for kidnapping her. What they didn't expect was for the little red-head to fight back. Asami knew her siblings wouldn't just let themselves be taken without a fight so neither would she. She was successful in delaying them but a small girl was no match for 3 grown adults.

It took 3 days for soldiers to find Asami and during her rescue a guard was killed shielding her from an attack, Asami watched as the poor man died. She saw the soldiers kill the rogues, she had never witnessed such a thing. The entire incident traumatized Asami and she became unable to speak. It wasn't like she didn't want to but for some reason nothing would come out of her mouth, not even a song.

5 years later and Asami still cannot speak, doctors have said it is an emotional issue and only she can fix it...but how? She feels she has become a burden to her family but hides it exceedingly well, often giving bright smiles and helping them in whatever they might need.

Kristoff isn't too great any many things when it comes to being a royal, however he is great at speaking with others. He has a way with words that make others at ease and comfortable around him. He has been told on more than one occasion that he is easy to talk to, this is because he genuinely cares about people and wants to hear their problems, even if they are a complete stranger.

Kristoff is a very creative person, this is what allows him to make wonderful and beautiful art pieces. While he loves to paint he has never had the confidence to actually show them off, now that he has a new role to play he feels he can't show people. He is also quite good at remembering things people tell him, no matter how insignificant the information might be. He is also a fantastic cook.

Kristoff has a bad habit of being too trusting, he wants to believe everyone is good but that simply isn't a reality. He learned this the hard way when his trusting nature caused his mothers death. Even after that incident he trusts people too easily.

While Kristoff can remember his lessons in politics, Military tactics and other things he has a hard time actually applying them. In mock battles he has he always makes the wrong choices, he constantly second-guesses his choices and often will change his decisions. He is terrible at romance, while he can easily talk to people he cannot for the life of him realize when someone has an interest in him.

Kristoff is quite lean though that doesn't mean he is stick skinny, years of running around and helping others has made him quite muscular. He keeps his blonde hair a little longe. He has a pale complexion and on several occasions he's been asked how he keeps his skin so clear. Kristoff has several things he can be seen in, he has a vary diverse wardrobe.

Kristoff grew up a noble, unlike many of the servants in his country he was able to live his life as he liked, without any restrictions. He ran around with his friends and did what he wanted, he loved his life. The thing he loved most though was painting, he would spend a good deal of time in his room creating detailed and abstract pieces. His father always told him though that one day he would have to take on more responsibility, that he would need to thing about the servants who worked on plantations, of the citizens of the Grain Kingdom. Kristoff never took his father seriously and continued to do what he wanted, however like all things in life - all good things must come to an end.

The first incident came when Kristoff, being the overly trusting kid he was led a stranger to his home after the stranger asked for some food. Kristoff thought his dear mother could make him some delicious stew, what the boy didn't know was that the stranger was an assassin from a rivalling noble. After going upstairs to fetch the stranger something Kristoff came upon his dead mother in the kitchen, his father constantly blames him for the death of his wife.

The second happened because Kristoff didn't pay attention to the political world, he never realized the plan his father and the Fruit Kingdom had going on, at least not until the day his father informed him that he was now King of the Grain Kingdom, thus making Kristoff the prince and heir to the throne. Suddenly everything his father had warned him about came true. Instead of being able to goof off with his friends or spend hours painting in solitude he now had to take lessons on military strategies, politics, learn the inner workings of his kingdom. Kristoff felt overwhelmed with all the duties that were thrust upon him.

Kristoff tried desperately to tell his father that he wasn't cut out for royal life, that he didn't want it but the new King just would not listen. In fact he was angry that his only child and heir would rather do pointless thing rather than spend his time making their Kingdom great. He made Kristoff feel like he now had no choice in the matter, guilt tripping the boy - If he did not take his new responsibilities seriously then he did not need such a son.

He's being sent to the masquerade in place of his father to meet other royals from the other Kingdoms and to learn about them. While he looks forward to the party itself he dreads having to meet and interact like the "perfect prince" he struggles to be.

Some days he feels like an edgeboi and will wear black on black on black with tons of leather and chains. Some days he wants to go a little softer and wears lighter colors, specifically coral or something similar. He does enjoy wearing sweaters a lot, he's constantly cold so sweaters and jackets are a big thing for him - hats too. While it may not always look like it but Alaric does wear a bit of makeup. On his edgy and grungy days he will don some eyeliner and even a bit of foundation. Alaric is a very creative person, he can always find new and interesting ways to annoy or piss people off, which is honestly one of his favorite things to do. His creativity helps when is comes to his music as well, he finds inspiration in the littlest of things. Because Alaric loves to stir the pot he's become very persistent, which isn't always a good things with him. He can bug and annoy you still the sun goes down, though on the flip-side this makes him a wonderful person to have as a group buddy because he's will be persistent with making sure the work gets done.

Impulsive is a good word to describe him in general, he has a hard time thinking things through before he does them which, like most things, usually get's him in trouble. While he might seem unruly (which he is) and scary, Alaric is probably one of the most loyal people you could ever meet. He values friendship a great deal and will do almost anything for those he considers his friends. A few other words to describe Alaric would be Impatient, Charming, Protective and Foolish.

Alaric comes from a very old family, The Blackwoods have a large wide of influence and because they have one of the largest medical facilities within Vermont the name is well known. He was the middle-born of triplets. From a young age he was expected to be great and perfect at anything that was thrown at him, however early on it was seen that he had a hard time dealing with being told what to do. His father was not okay with this, he wanted their image and family name to show within his children and forced Alaric to take long and intensive lessons regarding the "big world" they lived in as he put it. Because Alaric didn't like the lessons and he was simply a child he would often goof off and try to leave the teacher, his father got word every time and each time he would get punished. At first they were quite harsh: Sit in the corner of a room for an entire day without food, write out a single sentence of a paper for hours, things like that.

When his youngest brother Alexander was born Alaric straightened out a bit, he wanted to be a good example for his baby brother. For a bit Alaric actually listened to his parents and did what he was told, sitting quietly and paying attention during his lessons and just being all around obedient. As the years passed though and as Alaric became more aware of things he began to see just how corrupt his family really was. The way their mother was always obsessed about them being perfect, especially within the public eye was almost insane.

When Alaric was older poor Alexander got sick, for the longest time Alaric never knew why but the younger boys health quickly deteriorated and within a few months he passed away. This had a large effect on Alaric and his obedient nature vanished, he became more rebellious and unruly than before. He hated how his family always had to be perfect, how they put so much worth into a persons talent instead of just accepting them for who they were. Alaric only listens to his brother and sister, they are the only one's who actually knows what he wants and they are really the only two people he actually trusts within his family. But because they aren't with him at the University he just does what he wants: Drinking, drugs and whatever else may cross his path. The only reason Alaric got accepted into Meadow University was because his father wouldn't stop bothering him about it and threatened to throw his favorite guitar in the trash.

If you were to describe Elliot in one word it'd have to be Sincere. He is a very honest person, sometimes a little too honest. Growing up with two older sisters made him a bit sassy, if he has an opinion about something, negative or positive, he might not always hold back. He has a great sense of humor, Elliot loves to laugh and will often tell the stupidest and corny jokes. He hates people are upset or down and will try his best to cheer them up. He is easily excited by the smallest of things.

Elliot has a bad habit of being insecure, it could be about his writing or himself but either way has just constantly second-guesses himself. He also has a bit of an issue controlling his anger, if someone pisses him off enough he just can't stop himself from snapping at them. He always feels terrible afterwards though, and will usually apologize.

Elliot had a pretty normal childhood. As the youngest and only boy of the family he was pretty spoiled but that didn't mean he was sheltered either. His father was a journalist and often travelled to other countries in order to pursue the best stories. He would bring back the most fascinating artifacts and tell Elliot the craziest of stories. Instead of being told about Santa claus or the Easter bunny he was told about the world. How you can't buy Coca-cola in Cuba or North Korea, how the world's population could fit with Los Angeles or how South Sudan is the youngest country in the world.

The death of his father hit Elliot pretty hard, he was killed when the caravan he was with was hit by a bomb. His poor mother was the one who had to identify the body, she was barely home as it was due to being in the military and after that even less. His sister's did the best they could but his fathers death was a shadow that would never disappear. Elliot was pretty quiet during high school but once senior came around he began to worry, he had no idea what he wanted to do with his life. He thought about it a great deal and in the end he came to the conclusion that he wanted to see the world like his father did. He wanted to follow in his footsteps and become a great journalist.

His mother hated the idea and constantly tried to talk him out of it but nothing would sway his decision. He worked hard on essays and would spend all his time on filling out scholarship applicants. When one came back from Meadow University he couldn't believe it, he knew it was an Ivy League school and really only applied as a maybe. His sister's were ecstatic, happy they're baby brother would be making something of himself. Elliot's mother wasn't as happy, she wanted her baby closer to home where he would be safe.

Xovu'sae The Kasha Thief

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✧ Considered a lower, useless race the Kasha have spent a long time at the bottom of the barrel. Kasha children are often left abandoned and to fend for themselves, because of this many of them end up going into less-than noble careers. Prostitution, thievery, drug peddling and everything in between, they will do anything they can to survive. Because Kasha are known to populate such unfavorable jobs law enforcement often pick them out of the crowd and harass them, people treat them like dirt - they just have a generally bad reputation all around. Kasha are not super magical beings, at least not until they reach a certain age. As they age a Kasha's tail will grow, the longer the tail is the more magical ability they can posses. Though it is very, very slow a Kasha will not gain any abilities until they are almost 20, even then the abilities they do posses are minor. It takes years for them to develop anything dramatic, usually only being able to enhance their reflexes and senses. The upside to this is that they their senses are so heightened that they can perceive things that some might find difficult. Otherworldly beings normally not being seen are noticed, being able to sense when disasters will strike, feeling when someone may be telling a lie. Things such as these come very easy to a Kasha. Kasha are mostly humanoid, they are defined by the feline ears and tail that they naturally posses. Their eyes, while differ in color, all have a very cat-like look to them. Other than that they are very different in looks, some may be very pale while others sport a nice tan. They vary in everything from height, weight, gender - they are unique all in their own way. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Xovu'sae, or simply Xovu, doesn't remember where he was born nor who his parents were. The first solid memory that he has started with him living in an ally, he had found a group of children who were living on the streets and even though they could hardly take care of themselves they took in the young Kasha. Being the youngest they would use Xovu as bait, older women found it hard to resist the cute babbling of a toddler and would often give the other children food and clothing. There were other younger kids who would do the same and occasionally women were so taken with them that they would take them off the streets, Xova never got that lucky. Eventually Xova grew and wasn't able to just sit around looking cute, within the band of children there was the oldest: Jeckyll. He was responsible for teaching everyone how to survive in the world, Xova included. Xova took to Jeckyll and admired how strong he was. Even though they would steal and run drugs for petty dealers Jeckyll always took the time to take care and educate the children in their little group. Eventually, like all things, his little family came to an end when Jeckyll was shot. No one stepped up to take charge and everyone just separated and went their own ways. Xova was no expeption and at the age of 17 he had to figure out how to live alone, without the comfort of someone else by his side. Thanks to what Jeckyll had taught him, Xova was able to make his way through the world without much hardships. He had quite a talent for stealing, being able to slip in and out of houses without anyone noticing. He would often target snobby rich people, they might have thought they had some fancy alarm system but it was easy to bypass. He would steal expensive jewelry, electronics, honestly anything that he thought he could get a profit off of or keep for himself. After awhile though he got messy and soon authorities caught onto him, Xova realized that he needed to lay low and keep himself out of trouble. He found Whitmore house and liked the vibe they were throwing out, so he decided to settle down for a bit. Salia The Banshee

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✧ Banshee's are a rare type of fairy, though unlike their winged cousins they are seen as omens of death. This is because a Banshee is not necessarily a race of it's own, rather they are deceased creatures that died in violent circumstances and cannot pass on to the next life, most typical is murder or suicide. They are stuck, unable to remember how they died. They are not ghosts though, they are like any other creature that may roam the world. No one is quite sure why some are chosen to become Banshee and other's not, there are plenty of violent deaths in the world so why are some considered more than another? Many people think that these creatures are evil and cause death, however that is the opposite. A banshee is unable to kill, if they do than they would cease to exist in any way. In most cases they are simply content that they get a second chance at life, even if it was at the cost of them dying in the first place. Once someone becomes a Banshee anyone they may have had a connection with before they died loses all memory of that Banshee, unless they are of profound magic. The Banshee itself will also lose all memory of their life before their initial death, their new life beginning at the moment they came into existence. Banshee have one trait that they all share, they are able to see when someone nearby is going to die. It is not something they are able control, more like a base instinct that is ingrained into their being. There is no explanation as to how or why they know but when a Banshee gets a premonition of someone about to die they will screech, though it is not something you might hear out of a horror movie. It is more of a sing-song tone, loud and piercing but not ugly. People have said that the scream of a Banshee is actually quite beautiful, albeit creepy and unnerving. It is impossible to tell a Banshee apart from any other creature except for one detail: They will have a scar in the place that resulted in their death, even if they cannot remember how they died. For example, if someone was stabbed in the heart than they will have a scar of that. If they were burned alive, their skin would be scarred all over. If a Banshee has no scar than that simply means their cause of death resulted in no scarring, such as poisoning or being buried alive. A rotten child with a rotten heart and unfortunately for Salia she was rotten to the wrong person. While leaving a party one night Salia, who had a few too many drinks, hopped into the back of a cab. The driver attempted to speak to her but in normal Salia-fashion she began to rant at how poor people were stupid, that she could never imagine having to drive people around for a living. Instead of driving the girl home he knocked Salia out and drove her to the ocean where he had a beach house. For two days he tortured Salia until she screamed that she was a terrible person and deserved what was happening to her. She died when he attempted to remove her left eye, nicking an artery and causing her to bleed to death. When Salia next awoke she was on the shore, she couldn't remember anything or anyone. She sat there for a long time, unsure about what she should do. After almost a full day the girl finally got up and wandered around, until eventually she came across a town named Bellamere. It wasn't long until she stumbled across Whitmore Boarding House and while looking around she came across a fancy old lady in a greenhouse. She was fascinated by the lady and the plant, but didn't disturb them and continued on. Later that night she went back to the greenhouse, Salia sat some distance away from all the plants and watched them, they were alive and she loved it. She didn't realize that she had been there all night and when the old lady came she was startled. She began to speak very dramatically and Salia found it funny, laughing for the first time since she had awoken on the shore. Tao stared at Elise for a moment, his eyes going in and out of focus a few times before he got into focus. While some women may take his comment to mean he was flirting or hitting on them, the boy was just giving a random and honest comment. When he drank he couldn't hold his thoughts back so things tended to just slip out of his mouth. When Elise commented on his scarf he lifted one end and look at it. He wore the damned thing almost everyday, even in the summer. What no one knew was that it was one of the few gifts from his mother, before she got obsessed with her job and stopped being a mother to him and his siblings. When the girl leaned in Tao was caught off guard and leaned back a little bit, he wasn't used to people getting up in his face.

"My eyes?" He echoed, that was something he had never heard before. But then again how often did people really look at him like that in order to notice his eyes?

Tao slid his empty glass towards the drink stall owner, letting out a heavy sigh. "I'm always angry at the world - maybe that's why I do what I do..." He mumbled. Manami lifted a brow when Ryan spoke to her, she could tell that he was putting a lot of effort into trying to talk straight. She had to admit that at least he was dong something to try and make things a little better, she also couldn't help but prick up at the mention of food. she might be a model slash closet nerd, but she could never deny the temptation of some delicious food. She didn't say anything though as the new guy and Victoria spoke, listening silently as she finished the drink she'd been sipping on. There was definitely something going on between them and she couldn't deny that her curiosity peaked.

It wasn't long before Ryan realized that he had interrupted them and decided to excuse himself. She totally expected the boy to just lumber off somewhere, she let out an audible gasp when she watched as he kissed Vika, staring in surprise as he left. Manami blinked a few times before looking to Victoria.

"What in the world was that all about?"

Manami couldn't hold herself back, she was so intrigued. She shook her head though when she just blurted the question out, "You don't gotta tell me if you don't want to....though I can't lie...I'm very very interested in what that whole exchange was." She said with a little smile. "You need to teach your boyfriend to be nicer - I may just need to kick his ass, even if he gives me the best food in the world." Manami said with a little huff. She honestly was still annoyed at Ryan and probably would be for a little bit but at least he apologized and made an attempt to fix the situation.

Manami grabbed her purse and slung it over her shoulder, gave the nice ramen owner a smile and looked to Vika. "An afternoon for the girls sounds pretty great honestly, it would be good to get out of the normal swing of things. It is getting pretty late and I have a busy day tomorrow. This modelling stuff isn't as great as people make it out to be." She laughed."

Manami scrunched her nose at the mention of peas, the round green veggies were evil! The gross mushy texture they had and the flavor of doom just didn't cut it for her. She'd tried them every way possible but nothing anyone did made them any better to eat. She smiled and let out a small chuckle when Victoria said something about her height. "Your shortness makes you even more adorable though! Guys love short girls, ya know." She said with a laugh, finishing the last of her food and sliding the bowl away from her.

She really disliked the way he had spoken to her, even now she was annoyed with how he had just bum rushed Victoria without so much as thinking that maybe he should ask if it was okay to bother her while she was with someone else. Tao stared at her third alcoholic drink with intensity, watching as the condensation on the glass slowly slid to the wooden stall counter. He listened to his female drinking partner, huffing as he glanced over at her. He could tell she was mad or something but then the few chuckles she threw in was making him think otherwise. Was she mad or not? God girls were so confusing. "I'm not pissed that your too nice....I'm pissed because people are two-faced." He mumbled, laying his forehead on the cool counter. "Or maybe I am mad that your too nice...people can take advantage of that niceness." He let out a long sigh before lifting his head and taking a long drink.

The dark-haired male was silent for a moment, his head was fuzzy and he wasn't thinking clearly. "If people see any amount of weakness in a person they take advantage of it, whether it's being nice or being shy or...anything really. Of course you have bad people like killers and thieves. Then you got the people who pretend to be friends to the rich kid, thinking they can get something out of them. Corrupt politicians using taxpayers money, rich business owners who can't even pay their employees a living wage...." Tao was beginning to rant and rave, downing the last of his drink quickly. Himari is a very energetic girl, she always has something to say and loves to laugh. She does have a bad habit with trying to speak over others however and sometimes will talk to loudly, she doesn't realize she's doing it and is often embarrassed when she's told about it. Himari always tries to look at things on the bright side and encourages people to do the same, she hates when people look or feel sad and will try to cheer them up by making jokes or doing something stupid. Himari comes from the Inuzuka clan, a family based in Konoha and famed for using Ninken. Himari was given her name by her mother, it translate to Ball of light - her mother wanted Himari to be the light in her life. Unfortunately that wouldn't happen as she was killed during a mission when Himari was 6. This was an event that greatly affected Himari and shaped who she is now, she felt like she could no longer be the light that her mother wanted her to be. She became depressed for a long time, though just like all in the Inuzuka clan when she turned 7 she was given her own Ninkan - a German Shepard puppy. Himari instantly took to the dog and named him Haku, she spent everyday with him and they bonded quickly. Slowly Himari began to feel like herself again, she started to laugh and to feel happy again. Though the pain from losing her mother never fully waned. Her father also became depressed and became a hermit, refusing to leave their home and drank all the time - it wasn't long before they became hard on money, it didn't help that her father spent almost everything on booze. Himari knew that adults grieved different but she also knew what her father was doing wasn't right - she secretly felt like he was a coward for giving in to the pain. Of course she would never say such a thing out loud it was a constant thought in the back of her mind. The more that her father drinks the more that Himari looks down on him, she wishes him to get out of his stupor and to become the strong man she thought he was. During her academy days Himari was bright and cheerful, always greeting everyone and generally being as happy as possible with her situation. When she became a Genin she thought that maybe her father would be happy for her and stop with his downward spiral - like always she was wrong. It didn't even seem to faze him and Himari began to feel neglected - even now having been a Genin for a bit she feels let down. Though she would never let a soul know her situation nor how she really feels.

From a very young age Koharu has been quiet, she really only speaks if she is asked a question and would much rather keep to herself than to socialize with others. The Hayashi family, while not large or particularly well-known, has produced several formidable and strong ninja's for the stone village. One man in particular though rose through the ranks of ninja and proved himself, he was a kind yet tough man who always tried to do his best for everyone. This man would become the current Tsuchikage and Koharu's dear uncle.
At birth Koharu had the five-tailed beast sealed within her, why she was chosen for such a thing has yet to be revealed. Unlike some villages who treat their Jinchuriki with fear Iwagakure treated Koharu with respect and even praised her, treating her like she would eventually become the protector of their village. In a way she could understand that, if she could learn to work with and control the tailed-beast within her than she would have massive amounts of chakra. If she could train hard enough, harder than anyone, then she could be the strongest shinobi within her village...however she didn't want it. Koharu hated feeling special, she hated how people treated her kindly simply because of her status. Her fellow students within the academy tried their hardest to suck up to her, to try and be her friend even though she made no attempt to be friends in return. She hated the life and duties that were projected onto her and the path that was being carved forcefully.
Her Uncle, The Tsuchikage, seemed to understand how Koharu felt and often sent her little messages and notes to cheer her up. He would send a tiny bird that he named Hana to her bedroom at night, each tiny note held a story for her to read. While they may have been childish Koharu loved them and cherished them, keeping each and every one within a wooden box. Koharu knew that he was a busy man but he somehow still found time to write these stories out for her just to make her feel better. Eventually Koharu began to admire her uncle, he was kind and out-going yet was also firm in the things he said. He never back down from a decision and tried his best to please everyone.
The murder of her dear uncle shook Koharu to her core though his death could be felt within everyone in Iwagakure. No longer would she see his kind smile or feel his gentle hugs. Never again would she receive the precious stories that got her through her academy days. A rage began to built up within the girl, a rage that scared her. It bubbled beneath the surface and she was scared that if something were to go wrong than she wouldn't be able to control it. Because of this feat Koharu became even more anti-social than she had already been, if she wasn't on a mission than she was holed up in her room with the tiny bird that used to carry the small papers that used to hold magnificent tales. The war didn't surprise her either, her village cried out for justice and revenge.

Adaline will typically wear orange and black stripped outfits. Sometimes it will be a dress, sometime with will be a shirt and pants - it really depends on her mood. Though occasionally she will don an entire black outfit with just a few orange accessories, she always loves to look her best and dresses to the occasion. A lot of people tell her that she should wear something to blend into her surroundings more, but she usually ignores them. Why hide herself? She proudly wanders around her territory and wants to be seen by any potential challengers.

Physical Traits

Just like a regular Growlithe, Adaline sports a pair of orange ears that can easily pick up sounds. She also has a very fluffy light brown tail that will grow large whenever she is irritated. She has has pointed canines and instead of regular human nails they are more pointed and resemble that of claws. She stands at about 5 feet and 5 inches, not the tallest but not the shortest either.. She weighs in at 124 pounds. Her hair is a bright blonde color and her eyes are golden/brown. Her skin is very pale and she does not tan well.

Backstory: Adaline was born in Tere with a small pack that consisted of her mother, father and her siblings. Like most of her kind they set of borders for their own personal territory, within these borders they were safe and her father was good at keeping away wanderers. Adaline and her siblings lived a pretty normal life within their small, make-shift home. She and her sisters were taught to fight, how to hunt and to fend for themselves.

Things were dandy until one day her father never returned from a hunt, leaving a mother with three daughters alone. Her mother tried her best to care for them and the girls helped as best they could, however the loss of her lover caused Adaline's mother to grieve hard and eventually she grew ill was something they knew nothing about. Fearing that she was also lose her mother Adaline, being the eldest, be the decision to venture from her familiar territory and look for a way to heal her mother - at the same time perhaps she could learn what happened to her father.

Essen's main attire consists of a place, sleeveless shirt with a pair of white pants. He often adds a little flare with an emerald green coat given to him by his adoptive mother. He doesn't care much for footwear and often just goes barefoot, though will sometimes put on a pair of cheap sandals. When he wants to be extra special he adds golden leaves to his hair - but that's only for really special occasions.

Physical Appearance

Essen is very short for a typical male, however the males of his species are usually short. He only stands at about five feet one inches and weighs 122 pounds. The small the pokemon the better they can use the winds to travel. Essen has darkly tanned skin and amber eyes. He has a pair of green horns on either side of his hair and his white hair can puff up into a cotton-like substance, when startled fluffs of cotton will scatter like flowers. On the back of his neck, covered by his hair/fluff, he has a star-shaped mark. It is unclear what it is for, though Essen himself knows exactly what it is for.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Backstory: Essen was born and then promptly abandoned for reasons he will never know, he was very lucky that he was taken in by a kind Whimsicott who had been travelling on the breeze, the women cared and provided for Essen like she was her own child. In his eyes she was his mother and all he would ever need. Since Cotonnee and Whimsicott run in fluffs the other's also took Essen in - this was his family. They happily and quietly lived by floating along wind currents and settling down wherever they landed for a few weeks before moving again. They would play pranks on passing travelers - scaring their livestock, tricking them our of coin or some other small prank. They roam through all of Creisal, except for The Vale and Mar.

One day Essen had made a bet with a Cottonee that he couldn't take a pretty green stone that a nearby woman had. Taking the bet Essen, who was a Cottonee at the time, went. It was pretty easy to get access to the stone however upon touching it he evolved into a Whimsicott. Excited to show his family he rushed back only to find them gone. Had they moved on without him? Had he been abandoned again? Afraid of the answer Essen began to travel on his own to find his family.
