Bio

First and foremost...

If your a lurker or a perv just know that your welcome here! (Me too) Anywho, you all just feel free to call me Oz or EVEN Ozzy if your feeling energetic! I am a severely bored 29 year old man from the northern state of Michigan. I have been a writer for most of my life but I have been out of the game for quite awhile now and am only now starting to get back into it. I am a chill, relaxed, let the world flow by type of individual. As long as you show me basic human respect, I will always reply in kind. I am not one for drama, or someone's love letter to themselves, or anything of that ilk, if that's you please just move on. I love a good story and I love a good relationship with my writing partners even more. I am heavily into music and will often incorporate it into my scenes as inspiration or even a characters theme song so expect to receive lots of music from me! I can oftentimes have an exotic personality and some have said I am an acquired taste but you can just judge that for yourself! I am very heavy on communication, most times a problem can be easily resolved if its known about, so I want you to be open with me if your writing with me. Even if it's to tell me my story sucks and your moving on, I can respect that way more than being ghosted. I always try to be approachable so don't be shy!

Lets see... hmmm

I am a gamer, I love movies, I read books, I love dinosaurs, I write fanfic, I cook chinese meals at home, and many many other things that I won't bore you with! If you wanna get to know me better, wanna write together, or even just are nosy and wanna know something about me, shoot me a message or a PM!

P.S.

HAVE A SONG!

Princess? Psh, what a joke. Thaddeus listened silently as they rode slowly along the long road through the forest. Truth be told, he had no real love for anyone who deigned themselves royalty. In his short life up until this point he had meant many so called rulers, Kings and queens, princes and princesses, and not one of them was worth even half as much as they let themselves be. Most were just a bunch of plump, egotistical bullies who delighted in exploiting their people and an over-enlarged sense of importance that impressed even him. The children were worse, spoiled brats who think that the world is something to hold under their thumb, feigning strength but having an army of protection at their back. Thaddeus was not known for being cynical but when it came to this subject he was a bit sore, he had run-ins with some particularly nasty royalty in the past. Back than he was untempered more back in that day than he was now, and that attitude often brought him on the wrong side of others. Growing up with dragons two of the most important aspects he ever learned was strength and loyalty, and you definitely needed one or the other if you were going to live in that world. While he was taken in by dragons that did not mean that other dragons accepted it or even liked it, this life is harsh and many a dragon did not trust humans or anything that looked like them and half human or not he was no exception by far. Some might say he would have grown up a lot safer away from dragons all together but there was something that dragons had that many other species lacked and that was they protected their own, no matter the cost. If one were to fall than the others were kill whomever did it, even if it took centuries or even longer than that, the one who committed that crime would be punished.

That was something humans did not understand, a loyalty that goes deeper than the skin, a loyalty that where you would cut your own arm off and smile while doing it. A loyalty where you would jump in front of an attack to save your own fath... Thaddeus was thrown from his thoughts suddenly when Pyronas voice cut through his head. He listened silently to her words as the wagon he sat upon moved up and down rhythmically upon the dirt road. More or less it was a continuation of the same conversation they were having back in town, she was probing him, trying to gage him and determine if he was worth being trusted or not. Not shocking, it was pretty ironic actually that dragons had such a hard time trusting others and Thaddeus had a hard time trusting anyone at all. He would say that their meeting in Lorenstad was fate if he truly believed in such a hokey concept. Those chance meetings were determined by some all mystical force that no one could see, Alduin had tried once to teach him of a god but he just couldn't let himself believe in it. If what they said was true, and dragons really did reincarnate than where was brother, his best friend, the only real family he ever had? "You act as if destroying me would be simple, the reality is a lot different than that. You are young, a stripling as Alduin once called me. You are no doubt dangerous in your own way and any normal being would be easily felled by you, but I am no normal being, you would do well to remember that because there are…” Thaddeus swallowed hard as if an uncomfortable thought had come into his head, his hands tightened on the reigns to the point they creaked under the pressure. ”Things out there that could destroy you without even trying.”

There was no ridicule or malice in his voice, in fact it would almost seem like he was trying to impart some life advice for Pyrona’s sake. ”I don’t really care if you trust me or not, however, I know that trust is very important to dragon kind so perhaps I will allow you to do this… test, if you truly desire to do so. Yes.. I did know their true names, however I neither trust you nor are close to me so it is not something I am willing to divulge. It might interest you to know this though” leaning over so that his voice would not travel to the other he finished what he was saying, ”My real name is not Thaddeus.” Leaning back up he had intended to greet Rudolph who had finally joined them on the road, instead he raised his hand and caught an arrow that was intended to strike him in the chest. Cowards… the Mesmer thought the word angrily as he broke the arrow like a twig. He barely registered Shina’s yelling as a man with paint of his face jumped through the foliage to the right and boarded Thaddeus’s wagon. With no hesitation they brought their right arm down intending to slam a dirtied dagger into his neck, moving quickly the dagger slashed into the wood behind him getting stuck deep in the paneling. With one quick lunge he took the bandit by the throat and picked him up off his feet, with his other hand he struck the man in the head, the hit solid, the bandit was out almost instantly.

Throwing the man aside Thaddeus quickly pulled his sword and leapt off the wagon, a couple more arrows hit the seat where he had previously been. Shina was already on top of it as she loosed arrows of her own striking one of the bandits clean in the shoulder. This would force them out of hiding and into view to confront them forming a half circle around them. Moving in a quick arc Thaddeus brought his sword down to the ground and sliced the dirt deep with it as if it was butter, he formed what seemed to be a boundary line in front of the advancing bandits. a black smoke started to rise up from the slash mark as if it had been burned with fire. Its only purpose was to intimidate the bandits, he did not recognize this group at all so it possible they were easily frightened by stronger opposition.

What in a dragons leather hide was going on in Lorenstad today? Thaddeus was accustomed to exoctic people, most of his crew were exactly like he was if not more in some cases. But the blur of things that seemed to happen between his first meeting at the smithy with Pyrona all the way to this point with the old man running off in a panic screaming about dragons was out there even for him. At least in a funny sort of way anyways, he couldn't help but chuckle as he covered his mouth, he didn't know much about the old wizard but he knew this wasn't the first time he had speed off on a tangent for one reason or another. The Mesmer could hardly blame the old man this time, when a dragon gets pissed and assumes the poistion to attack you secretly hope like hell that your not the one who is being pointed or in the path. Thaddeus had an exotic childish personality but when a dragon is staring you down you would be a fool if you didn't have a chill strike your body right down to you spinal cord. Still... the whole running and screaming dragons was a bit over the top even for the situation, he liked to believe he had the situation well in hand, at least the best one could. "Sure.. I have a house on the outside of town so it would be a lot more quiet there." Thaddeus would just agree to the dragons wishes for now, considering Thomas was now in town he was a lot more weary than he was minutes ago. The truth was... ever since he touched Pyrona back at the smithy it was like a flood gate had opened in his mind of memories from over two hundred years ago. It was... odd and made him feel uncomfortable because he had no idea why it was happening, he didn't like things he couldn't control at least to some degree. Anyways.. there was no use in living in the past right now, it was time to get this expedition underway. Thaddeus would approach one of the carts that was being pulled by one of his large cockatrice and hopped into it. Shina had motioned for them to get underway.

"Let us have luck on our journey friends! Lead the way Mi'lady."

"Hey where did the dragon go? I could have swore there was a dragon here, Malvo? What happened?" Thaddeus could hear Thomas going off about dragons as Malvo disappeared with him, thankfully Pyrona had transformed into a human form before waking him up, than again she was lucky he didn't slash her for getting that close to Thomas but he really did not believe she meant anyone else harm except for him of course. "Trust me, its better if you don't encourage him, given the chance he would bug you until the end of time and than some Pyrona." Thaddeus's demeanor finally softened a bit as he loosened his grip on the sword but still kept the hilt in hand in a more casual way. "Yes.. I knew the dragon an no you can't handle my sword, at least not now. I don't trust you enough for that. Perhaps, we can come to trust each other, but I warn you, questioning my loyalty to dragonkin is one way to make me spite you. Lets find Guan first without harming anyone or each other than perhaps we can talk more if you insist." Thaddeus spoke bluntly as he drew his attention to Calleida. "That would be a fine gesture Calleida, the more people who know the better. Don't worry, she won't hurt anyone, she would have done it by now if that was to be the case." Thaddeus spoke confidentally but time would tell as he drew his attention to the others. "Sorry about that, me and Pyrona had a bit of a mishap! We should getting moving, the day is wasting you all!" For all intensive purposes Thaddeus was back to his usual care free self as he smiled and waved at them to show everything was all right. But he had a lot of explaining to do later considering everything that just happened.

"You need not make your choice now, trust is something that comes with time for it is not something that can be rushed. But I must warn you, no one, and I mean absolutely no one touches this blade except for me. If one day you intend to put it to rest it will never leave my hand unless I am dead, so be prepared to fight me to the death." Thaddeus was deathly serious, his voice was steady and there was no loss of conviction in his words, he was more than ready to die for this sword.

The image would flash across his brain like a tidal wave surges across the open sea, that eye... that putrid eye that would haunt him for the rest of his existence. Just thinking of it made his body shake with an anger that not many knew he even had. His hand would tighten unecassarily on the blade, his eyes would glow deeply under his sunglasses in cohesion with his anger.

"Your anger amuses me boy, do you truly believe a half mesmer whelp such as you could ever strike me down? I suppose there is one way you might, but the question is... are you willing to go that far for this trash you call family? You can chase me for eternity but the only thing that is for certain is I will kill you, but only when you have suffered enough for my liking."

Bastard... Thaddeus was lost in his own head again, however, that did not last long, the whole tense situation did not last long before it happened...

"DRAGON!!!!!"

The scream was so defeaningly loud that Thaddeus nearly jumped it being so damn sudden. Oh no, not now, they had to reach town now!? In the distance he could see Thomas making a full tilt run for the dragon. There was no way to mistakes his intent as anything more than pure joy and excitment however given the nature of things and what had just been happening he could not take that chance, not with his son. Damn it, was this boy afraid of anything?! He supposed that was his fault but still, Thaddeus would quickly depart from his spot in the blink of an eye and cover the distance between Pyrona and Thomas within seconds and without hesitation he would slide around the boys back and give him a quick but very deliberate and aimed strike to the back of his neck knocking him out almost effortlessly. Falling foreward his eyes rolled back in his head Thaddeus caught Thomas in his arms gently and would toss the young boy over his shoulder holding onto his legs. Yeah it was painfully obvious this had not been the first time he had done this to him. "Damn Captain, you ain't dun him like that since that incident involving the bandits and their Griffin. Malvo would come over the hill, thankfully the rest of the contigent was probably waiting in the town center, the last thing he needed was his men over reacting. Malvo on the other hand... "Is that... a ruddy dragon Capt'n... I thought the boy was yelling about something else.." Malvo was greatly dumbfounded as he placed his hand on the left pistol criss crossed against his chest with leather straps. Thaddeus would quickly put his hand against Malvos, "DON'T." Thaddeus was deadly serious, to the point where Malvo gulped, he had not seen the Capt'n this serious in a while and he didn't enjoy the experience when he did. "Take Thomas and keep an eye on him, strap him to a bed if you have to, I will be leaving town for alittle bit to help Shina, Please take care of the deliveries and collection and we will have our celebration when I return." Malvo would merely shake his head in understanding and would take Thomas in his arms, turning he would begin to walk but would turn back around right quick: "Your going to explain this later right?" Thaddeus would just nod as Malvo took the hint and disappeared back toawrds their caravan.

Thaddeus slowly lost his smile as he turned to look at Pyrona, his entire lackluster persona switched as if by the flick of a switch, his body became tensed up, his posture cold almost frightening. He could easily see that her posture had changed from that of a haze into a defensive position. Lowering his hand onto the hilt of the blade at his side he would not slide the blade up but rather prepared himself to quickly slash, he knew exactly what Pyrona's sudden change in temper was about and if she chose to attack than he would have to be serious lest she strike him down in one move. "Calleida, Shina, please back away now." His voice was cold, his usual hardyness they had come to know and love gone. He never should have mentioned fighting a dragon, that was stupid given their present company and now she had suss'd out the blade of his hilt was made of dragon bone and thinking the worse. "You have nothing to fear from me Pyrona, but if a fight is inevitable than give me the courtesy of doing it outside of Lorenstad. No one else needs to get hurt. As for your question... I can't explain to you where it came from, thats not your concern fledgling, but I can assure you that I did not kill the dragon it came from. I would never harm family." Thaddeus spoke very pointedly to Pyrona, there was no use in trying to console her now, that would most certainly make her attack, he just hoped she could accept his explanation because he intended to give her nothing more. "An to answer your earlier question, it was a sparring match."

Slay a dragon? Thaddeus heard the all too familiar voice, he checked his surroundings and noticed Calleida making her way over in yet another animal form, he had yet to see her as a hawk or had he and forgotten? Time did weird things to the mind, never mind that though, he went to open his mouth and tell of the dragon's not being dead but when Calleida flew back and tripped over her own feathers and quickly skirted behind his boot he couldn't help but chuckle. That was the reaction he had been waiting for inside the tavern but this was just as funny. "Calleida! Has it really been eight months already? You seem... hmmm... you seem well?" Thaddeus was looking for something to compliment the hawling on but he had no idea how old she was or even looked and with no proper comparison he had no clue. "Oh yeah! The dragon, was getting lost in my thoughts again! This is Pyrona, she is very much alive but don't worry she won't eat anyone. Slay a dragon... I have not fought a dragon in many years..." Again he found himself slipping into old memories but he stopped himself this time, what was it with him today? Must just be a day to remember old stories from his childhood. "How are you doing my friends and how is Oryxtheos, the old goat, his knees feeling any better? I believe I have the perfect ointment for him, I can drop by after I give Shina a hand in locating old Guan."

Thaddeus, do you need to get anything before we go?

Thaddeus was broken from his thoughts instantly when Shina asked him about his needing anything. Looking around, Pyrona had finally removed her head from the tavern, well there wasn't a panic going on at least so that was good if nothing else. It had been some time since he had lost himself in memories like that, he wondered why he felt such a strong sense of familiarity with Pyrona? Looking at the dragon closesly he just felt a connection to her but he had no idea why. "Nothing to worry about mi'lady I am always ready to travel, all I need is my sword and a jaunty tune." Thaddeus did a little jig in front of her as if there was an beat playing around him and smiled widely.

Pyrona was rather bold, maybe a little too much so given she just stuck her head through the door of a tavern and it not being human. Thaddeus was honestly waiting for the screams and half the tavern to hightail it out the back. Finding that thought rather funny if he was being honest, it reminded him of Xevoaren, he smiled at the thought. He had not been one for subetly as such, he believed that he shouldn't have to conceal himself because the greater world feared his species. Pyrona was brash like him, it is probably why it didn't take long at all for him to like her. A normal person would be pissed about being whipped across the yard with a tail but he was fairly used to it. At least, he was used to it anyways, it seemed like such a long time ago now and eons later from that moment in his life. Placing his hand comfortably around the hilt of his blade his smile become somewhat deflated as he looked at the ground. Funny how one can forget over a course of so many years but in the instance of a moment everything comes flooding back to you.

Honestly, he had spent most of that conversation in a haze, his eyes spinning in his skull, but he had heard enough to know that he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. Not that it mattered much, when a Mesmer child goes into a blood rage, there is no reasoning with them, there is no stopping them, it was the final stage before complete insanity and once entered one did not come back from it. At least, that was the notion anyways but Xevoaren had convinced his father Alduin to spare his life, to help him. An Alduin felt obligated to do so by a debt of blood even if he didn't believe the boy could be brought back from the blood rage that was slowly engulfing his mind.

If she didn't return he could keep the metals? Thaddeus did not exactly like the implication of that phrasing or the anxious nature in which it was followed by. He was not particulary what one would call a worrier, in fact his mentality dictated that whatever happened would happen and that was that. No reason to fight a battle that already has a decided conclusion. But her words just didn't sit right with him, damn it, that wasn't it at all no matter how he pretended, he liked Shina and would never wanna see her get hurt, without realizing it at first she had become a comfortable part of his life even if neither of them really ever talking much or hung out. So the notion that she might not come back, even if it was a joke made him weary with a caution he was not known for. "Malvo is gonna be pissed..." Thaddeus spoke under his breath before removing the monacle from under his sunglasses replacing it in his pocket. He would just hope Malvo and the Katorian would understand his being late. "Ill go with you both, I would be loathe if something were to happen. Besides I have been cooped up on a ship for months, a nice walk wouldn't hurt." Thaddeus gave that smile he was famous for as he played it off that there was no other reason to go than he could use the exercise. "Lead the way. I will leave this paperwork with an associate of mine down the road, he will inform Malvo I will be back later".

"I can't help it, I was born with a natural sense of need to touch things." There was no sense of irony in his voice as he merely spoke the truth. Shina was right about him being layed out eventually, just not aware of how many times it has happened over the course of nearly three centuries. Reaching into a pocket at the top of inner portion of his jacket Thaddeus would remove a rather large walnut that appeared to be various shades of brown all mixed together into a diamond pattern. Putting his hand up he would hand it to the Lapoo. "Thats a Grandelus Walnut from the Red Isles of Demonte, they are a delicasy to the natives there, so enjoy my little friend for they tried to hit me in the arse with a spear upon taking it from a tree." He was only half joking about that incident, they did try to hit him with a spear it was just aimed for his crotch, but there were ladies present and even he had his standards. Diverting his attention back to the dragon he took her in. He wondered if she was fully grown, most dragons were a bit, how would you say, bulkier, more advanced in size, that again he had only meant two in his lifetime so he wasn't an expert on the subject. Thinking on it he was fairly certain he reconized the name Pyrona but he couldn't place it, not that it mattered much in the moment. "I think you will find that my tastes are a tad more exotic than the usual local, I spend more times in other lands than I do at home. Anyways, it is nice to meet you Pyrona, if you could considering the hostility displayed toawrds you, would you consider not ever attacking Shina or this villiage? I adore dragons and I loathe to hurt another one. If you can do that for me, I am sure I can get you some food from my personal stores that are more suited to your tastes. After all I am the guy who can get you whatever you want. That said.."

Thaddeus turned his attention back to Shina, "My crew will be here shortly with your delivery Im here to take care of the payment as usual." Reaching into his inner jacket he would remove his clip board which was now broken in half as the bottom cracked off falling to the ground, probably from the dragons tail earlier."Dayum, this was my favorite one too." Thaddeus would merely shrug with a smile, "Two crates of precious metals, shall I charge it to your account or will you be paying in full today mi'lady?"
