@Lugubrious I am by no means criticizing, their behavior just seemed a bit odd to me, I was kind of thinking that if anyone, Aforgomon would be the least interested in getting involved in the mortal wars, simply shrugging and maybe snacking on alien dreams. The aliens are by no means the good guys here, and they were going to die anyway, so rest assured I'm totally fine with what went down. I meant the gods messing with mortals is blasphemy only jokingly, as a nudge that really, that's what they should have been doing, but no one has in forever.

The huge catastrophes are necessary to get us to where we need to be. Once we're there, things won't be nearly so bad. Still have a bit of a ways to go though. Thankfully the catalyst for arc three, which has been mostly merged into arc two, is making an appearance soon. Just need to clean up some loose ends.

And @Slendy... anywhere but Egypt. Anywhere. :O
@Zelosse Well... that's horrific. Just mass murder thousands, many of whom are only confused and half heartedly following orders, all to save the humans, which I don't think either God particularly likes. What about Amgarrack @Lugubrious? :o You pledged eternal friendship and now you're going to kill thousands of his loyal worshippers! Interfering in a mortal war, blasphemy!

On a more important note, destroying the ship throws a wrench in the plans... But not a big enough one! Muahahaha! This disaster will have... consequences. :D

In the meantime, I meant to go to bed hours ago, yet here I am... Gonna change that. Post tomorrow! Night!
So my internet died... might die again... I will try to be useful as I can now.

The heart is an actual heart

just a bit... more. Slightly mechanical slightly magical, and totally gross.

It returned to the literal last place Ox stood on Earth, which was outside of the side-alley entrance, on the steps. So it'll be just laying there in the middle of the alley, the heat it's complaining about 'like fire' is literally because it's in the sun. xD Very anticlimactic I know, but we need to get a move on. Sorry.

As for the door being locked... eh? Does it matter? :P You decide, just charge through, blow it down, or whatever.

In fact none of that matters. The Heart doesn't do 'conversation' it's completely mad, not entirely sentient, and a complete ditz. It likes to make comments about what it sees and knows, but it's so upset now it's kind of paying attention for once. So we're just going to say it will materialize in front of her face with a magic-y woosh. <3
@ArkmageddonCat You can fight or run, I recommend running. Then jumping into the first portal to be seen. You pick where it comes out. <3
@ArkmageddonCat Posted for you.

Sorry everything is short. :/

The club was a wreck, obviously everyone had left in a hurry, knocking over tables and chairs and breaking bottles and glasses, but more than that the back door had been ripped out by it's frame and a ash stains littered the area. Someone magical had been fighting here, one of the Fae most likely, given the building was still standing. The thought was worrying, what if someone had taken The Heart? They'd never find it then... but no, Hecate said it was here, it must be here.

Further reinforcing his thoughts a whisper could be heard in his mind, in all of their minds. "It- burns, like fire... Mortals feel this always? Never coming out- never again. Miss the chill..."

"It's here," Boreas muttered unnecessarily, "and it may be injured."

"I have a name!" The Heart yelled suddenly, and Boreas' head snapped to the left, towards a side door he hadn't noticed before. As far as hearing the direction a voice in his head was coming from, that was it. He waited a moment, but The Heart didn't clarify. There was a reason they called it mad he supposed.

"Bring me that one too!" The former Greek Queen yelled, pointing at the newest arrival. A man stomped out of the shadows with a large hammer, and glowing red eyes, the hammer lit itself on fire as he raised it to strike the girl.

Small dots of light could be seen in the darkness, mostly from fires in the godly city, and screams echoed as loudly as the clangs of weaponry dueling each other. "To the portal!" Was a frequent cry among the gods who weren't red eyed, the ones who seemed to be losing.

"We need to leave." Scott said suddenly. "Now." He was already standing up and packing everything into trunks by the wall when he'd finished giving his warning.

Jakob hesitated, "My parents?"

"If we see them, we'll send them to you." Scott promised, throwing a stack of books taller than he was into a trunk that didn't seem full at all.

"What? Where are you going? Where am I going?" Jakob asked, panicked to be split from the only one who seemed to know anything anymore.

"Wickedeisos." Scott answered, "Myself on the other hand, I'm going to America."

Jakob wasn't sure which part to question first. "I get to go to Wickedeisos?" He asked, stunned.

"Yes." Scott said distractedly, examining a perfectly round glass sphere from his table before throwing it into a trunk too.

"What's in America?" Jakob asked after a moment to process that.

Scott paused uncomfortably, "My family." Then he spun on his heel and changed the subject. "Where to, Belle? I can send you anywhere from here!"

It was not so easy to destroy the station as that, initially the aliens were confused and horrified, but skill was on their side. Blasts of their light-beam weapons fired on the worm and tore it into tiny chunks. Significant damage had been done though, and the station made the decision to move into Earth's atmosphere. The holes threatening to split open from the creatures attack would not be fatal if surrounded by air, not to mention being closer to the planet would likely offer more protection should the human gods try again to destroy the ship, and it was clear one of the Earth gods had done it because they knew of no others who could do as that had done.
@Cuccoruler I've used his influence so many times now. You don't sell your soul to a god and get to betray him, but if suitably corrupted who knows what disrupted magic is stifling what can and can't be done? And Occus, one of the eldest of the mixed blooded merged and steeped so deep in arcane lore he could turn a god into a goldfish, slain by a mere sword? Wiping out magic and turning his most trusted friends on him was exactly the best option to take. Then, a whole floor of Fae turn traitor exactly as magic is nullified? Better believe corruption played it's hand there too. And every single one of the old gods were hell bent on wiping out the merged when they revived? Potentially some would have run like hell, or tried to find a solution that didn't end in a second death, nope they had to be corrupted too, just to be sure! The aliens, a trillion souls dedicated to a peace God, and the instant he goes missing the leaders are all about blasting those humans to dust and ash? Something fishy there. The ground invasion was reluctant, but once the war was ignited did they really have a choice but to fight back?

And still so much more deceit and trickery to come! Not all the evil is caused by Zeltrax, but so much of it is he might as well just be dubbed 'The Cause of Everything Gone Wrong'.

I had so very much fun spreading havoc in his name. <3
@Ace of flames01 Knew I forgot someone. XD That's... 4/7? characters dead. Note how I hesitated over adding Aden, Talia, and Melissa to the character lists. I found pictures for them, and half made backstories, but in the end I wasn't sure how long they would live, and I'm still not, so they remain unlisted. :D It all depends on what happens after the old gods arc... But I've decided Boreas and Scott are sticking around, Jakob has a role to play, it all depends on whether he dies doing it or not. That's two for sure living, one maybe, and one to-be-living-again. :P

@rechonq If he's unlisted, you decide. B) Just pm Cucco so he can add the name to the appropriate list, which are both located in the first post of the OOC.
@Ace of flames01 She was moved and deeply affected by Hannah's death who'd she'd known for less than a day, so easily attached, and her history of being sheltered away from everyone with her parents mean their deaths don't mean as much to her as to the gods who knew those people.
