Current Today I reached the conclusion that, if presented with an exact duplicate of herself, one of my characters would DEFINITELY hit that.

They're not LONG chapters; but the fact I've managed to right 2 meh and 4 half decent ones in 4 days makes me very happy with myself.

@KatherinWinter All clear on my end.
@KatherinWinter That works for me. I'll be waiting for my cue.
@Blueflame

I'll admit, one of the reasons I pulled Rost in particular out of my character pool is his runic magic; with the intent of having him create a seal to keep Shadow in check while allowing Mason to function as an agent and have access to (at least some of) his powers.

If both you and @KatherinWinter are alright with it, that is.
@KatherinWinter@Dawnblade

Yeah, Rost can work with the new girl.
Argus, coffee in hand, made his way to the debriefing room; brushing off the agent who informed him of Mason's safe retrieval and containment. When he reached the meeting room, he took a seat facing the door, not paying any mind to the other agents already gathered in the room as he waited for the debriefing to start. Out of habit, the Djinn reached for the pack of cigarettes in his jacket only to find it empty. "Damnit, that was my last pack..." he grumbled, crushing the cardboard container and tossing it into a nearby garbage can.
@Searat Wanna team him with Argus? They seemed to work pretty well during the fight in the sewers.
Argus and Richard might make a decent team, given there's no obvious points of contention between them. Wouldn't be especially easy for them to kill each other if things get out of control.

At the same time, it might do good to partner Argus and Griffin, if nothing else so Griffin can get experience dealing with being partnered to someone via a fellow senior agent, rather than being stuck with a potentially inept rookie that might get on his nerves.

At the same time, thinking somewhat more pragmatically, despite the fact she could basically murder him without even trying Argus and Amaya somewhat cover each-other's inherent weaknesses. She can control water, which could be used to protect Argus from being snuffed out, while he is far more skilled in combat

Rost is a chill guy and can probably get on well with anyone that doesn't want to kill him for some reason. Possibly Mason once he's able to be an agent. Rost's Scrivening could be used to create seals to contain Shadow while still allowing MAson to use his powers, if he were to be given adequate time to study the precise nature of their abilities and begin developing countermeasures.
@KatherinWinter I'll intro Rost around the same time Dawn introduces their character...

Dangit we're at an odd number again because we've got two new characters running around.
@KatherinWinter Gonna put a copy of Rost in CHAR, same post as Argus so it's easier to find.
@LightningMaiden

"Sometimes all you need is a kindred spirit." He shrugged, locking the car and following Amaya into the base. "Advantage of being me; you never actually have to shower or change clothes, just purge my human shell and reform it. Talk to you later, Amaya. Have a good one." he diverted away from the rookie agent, heading to the break room to grab a cup of coffee.
