Appearance: Scarlet stands at a small-ish height of 5'6" and retains quite a young look to her. She didn't seem to age from when she was 17 but that could have been only the fragment of one's imagination. She always has this innocent look on her face which tends to throw many people off. She has, much like her name, scarlet hair. Her eyes are a shade of yellow. She seems to have remarkable smooth, pale skin. She has a slender form and an average bust size.
What brings out her Faunus traits is her red furry tail and her longer canine teeth. Her canine teeth are not obvious at first but one will notice it when they look hard enough. She usually wears a white long sleeved shirt, a black vest and either a white skirt or pants, it depends on her mood. What is on the picture, however, was herself before the small incident. Now, she has black mechanical arms built on herself which serves as her weapon as well making her ready all the time.

Semblance: Illusion - She can manipulate a person's senses, making them see, hear, feel, taste and smell things she wants them to. However, these things are intangible and cannot physically hurt a creature. When manipulating one's senses, she becomes increasingly tired the more she uses her semblance.

Her left arm can actually form a shield from it. It is ebony black in color with her emblem in the middle. It is practically attached to her arm so she can’t throw it or anything.
Her right arm can have a blade extend from it which she can use for close combat situations, however, it can also be shot out or be extended into a sword that she can hold in her hand. She only has two blades built in it so she has to reload it with the same swords that she shot out. These blades have no hilt so it is sharp all over but her gauntlets are the ones that allows her to use these blades without getting hurt.

Personality: Scarlet seems like a nice and helpful person. She is very sociable and seems happy overall. She doesn't seem like a one to kill people on whim or perhaps even hurt a single fly. This is all wrong, all a simple act. That innocent face of hers is just a mask to cover the killer inside. She considers herself one of the best actresses out there because of this. She can even lie in front of your face and you wouldn't even notice. But she is capable of feeling a sort of camaraderie towards people who actually work well with her and doesn't discriminate here because she's a Faunus.
She absolutely hates people touching her tail, especially if she doesn’t know them. She only lets her closest friends touch it and even then it is a mere touch and no more. Like a dog, however, she loves being petted in the head and her tail would start swaying. What she hates the most, though, is when people discriminate here because of her Faunus lineage. She is proud of it and will kill if you really push her through her limits (just talk to her previous teammates). Despite wanting to become on equal standing with humans, she never thought of even joining the Whitefang. She just simply doesn't like it very much. Although she could work for them if they pay her enough because she is a free "Huntress". After all, what matters to her the most is the money involved and not something like justice or some other crap like that.
She has quite a fascination to the Grimm and wants to study them but unfortunately, they disappear soon after they are killed. Scarlet can be seen inside the forest, studying the Grimm from above the trees and made sure to not let out any negative emotions so they wouldn’t be attracted to her. She had started taking down notes too whenever she encounters a certain type of Grimm, jotting down its weaknesses and attack patterns. She is also seen researching extensively on these creatures, trying to find out where they came from or if they can be mutated from different kinds of animals.
Scarlet is someone who relies on trickery and misdirection. She uses her semblance to steal from other people and is incredibly used to stealing from other people's pockets/bags. She isn't one to joke around when she does this, although it may seem like that since she puts an act in front of someone to do so. Before, she has been seen stealing from her schoolmates and even the teachers.
History: Born in Vale, she was quite an energetic young pup. She would go around, having fun like any other kid. She had made quick friends with the other Faunus out there. When she entered school, however, her outlook on the world changed. Human kids started pulling her tail, making fun of her and being bullied. A teacher once protected her but turned against her soon enough. She wasn't the only one being treated like this, every other Faunus in that school was being mistreated like that. Unfortunately for her classmates, she learned how to fight back. An hour of beating later, she came out relatively unharmed with only a few bruises and scrapes here and there but that would heal, and her classmates were all beaten up. She was expelled from this school.
Her parents caught wind of this but instead of being angry, they became proud of their little girl and deemed her ready for the harsh truth of life. They explained everything she needed to know about the whole fight between the Faunus and humans, the Whitefang and stuff like that. They also told her about their line of work, thieves, assassins, that was what the Cunningham family was and ever will be. They started to train Scarlet to become one of them. That was when she noticed that her parents weren't just normal thieves, but they used their semblances which were speed and transformation for her mom and dad respectively. She asked her parents how they even had these and they simply replied that they trained for it.
And so began her training in unlocking her aura. Soon, she did unlock it and gained her semblance, Illusion. This made her life a ton easier as she could pick pockets without the person noticing. She would single out people and steal from them. When she reached the age of 17, she enrolled in Beacon Academy for reasons only known to herself. She passed. She only used her father's sword for the majority of her stay at Beacon. She presented great skills. She got herself in team ROSE, a team consisted of three humans and herself, a Faunus. She was incredibly bullied by the two males in her team while their leader remained oblivious to this fact. She did not do anything though nor did she say anything to the leader. At her fourth year, her arms were eaten by the Grimm when she was left on her own with a bunch of Grymm. She was saved, just in time, by their leader, Rosaline. She was taken to the hospital and was given prosthetic arms. She then made configurations to make it her weapon.
Right after the graduation, she went to talk with Owain and Emir, the two males, with her weapon unsheathed. The two looked at her weirdly. She had this weird look on her face, a sadistic smile on it. They instinctively went for their weapons. Soon after though, both were killed and hung near Beacon Academy with the words, "Let this be a warning for all you Faunus haters. Come across me and you shall share the same fate." This was the last time she ever used her father's sword. She wasn't caught by this and went down the lane of working for multiple horrible institutions in exchange for money making her a fallen huntress. She was also seen still picking pockets or even going as far as stealing from homes but she always wore a mask during these times (the break-ins I mean).
