Appearance: The Accuser is an emaciated and skeletal male form, packed together from reddish mud and bits of century-old battlefield detritus- shrapnel, barbed wire, vehicle wrecks, and so on.
Size: 90 meters (295 ft) in height
It Came From: The Somme battlefield, just outside the city of Amiens
Abilities:
Regeneration: The Accuser can reconstitute its body from the soil it stands on, even if completely blown to pieces, but only from the soil of a country that fought in World War One. It must be within the borders of the country or somehow have access to a large amount of that country's soil.
Mustard Gas: This creature is able to exhale tremendous quantities of weapons-grade mustard gas.
Barbed Wire: The Accuser can fire thick living strands of barbed wire out of its hands, grabbing or ensnaring things up to 150 meters away.
Hand-to-hand: The Accuser possesses the knowledge of thousands of fallen soldiers, including their skills from a war that was often fought up close and personal.
Weaknesses: The Accuser is made largely of packed mud, and is therefore not quite as durable as some other kaiju. While it is able to heal and regenerate under the right circumstances, even sustained pounding from conventional weaponry can do some damage to it.
History: World War One, or as they optimistically called it, the War to End All Wars. In a tragic and futile conflict, millions died to sate the petty egos of their leaders, in a war that accomplished little except to lay the grounds for even larger conflicts to come. The souls of the dead, restless and angry, gathered together and drew strength in numbers.
Finally, in the blood-soaked earth of the Somme, the largest battlefield of the war, their combined bitterness reached a point that they were able to form a new and huge body. Now, the Accuser seeks to punish the countries that participated in the slaughter of millions, beginning with France and Belgium.

Appearance: Sophie is a short and somewhat plump redhead with very pale skin. She wears her hair short and prefers casual clothes.

Occupation: Occult bookstore proprietor
Starting Location: Sophie lives and works out of her bookstore in Paris' Latin Quarter in the 6th arrondissement.
History: Growing up in a spiritualist, metaphysical household Sophie was exposed to many ideas that would be considered unconventional at the very least. She grew up fascinated by the supernatural and occult and as an adult runs a small bookstore specializing in such matters. At the time of the crisis, her wife Monica is away in London on a buying trip. Sophie is extremely concerned about her, of course, but unlike the military or press she also intuitively understands the nature of the Accuser. Frantically, she searches through her texts, wondering if there is some means of communicating with or stopping this particular kaiju.
