Current Getting new RP ideas is agonizing when you realize you need to shelf them until you're less busy.

@SouffleGirl123
Cheers, I may add a few depending on what's said. :)
Joel Grau

Location: Charles de Gaulle Airport
Interacting With: Mr. Lewis, Claire
Date: March 15th

The flight was a very short one for Joel, living so close to France already, he had barely finished his second drink by the time they were beginning their descent. Letting out a sigh as he settled in for the landing, Joel watched out the window as his plane began to taxi along the runway toward a private hanger, along with - what he assumed - were the other winner's planes.

Once they'd stopped, Joel began to undo his seat belt and move to stand, taking his duffel bag from the stewardess as the stairs over the door were lowered, and the door opened itself. After a brief thank-you to the pilot, Joel shifted the bag over his shoulder and moved out of the door, standing at the top of the stairs as he looked around the hangar, running a hand over his bald head.

He could see two women, from the videos he'd seen he knew they were two other winners, Jose and Claire, he'd made an effort to remember their names. As for the third figure, the older, bald man, he did not know him. Making his way down the stairs, he approached them, giving them all a somewhat awkward nod.

"Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you all, i'm Joel," He spoke softly and with a smile, a respectful nod to each person as he set his eyes on the bald man, holding out his hand. "I don't believe we've met."

"Honor to meet you Mr. Grau, you do your nation proud I am sure. I'm Emanuel Lewis," he said with a cordial smile, shaking the man's hand.

"And these two lovely ladies would be Miss McManus and Miss Bloomer," Mr. Lewis said motioning towards the young women.

"Nice to meet ya," Claire said with a grin as she waved at him, bouncing on the balls of her feet some. "Hey, any place in town to get a beer? Or fight? Or both?" she asked Mr. Lewis.

"Real firecracker this one Mr. Grau," he chuckled. "I hope your flight was comfortable even if it was shorter than many of our guests."

Joel shifted on his feet in slight discomfort at Mr. Lewis' initial comment, but he smiled all the same as he shook the man's hand. "Nothing so grandiose, but I appreciate it."

Smiling, he shifted his gaze over to the other two, giving them a slight nod and a wave, his eyes shifting between both of them for a moment, chuckling at Claire's comment as he turned back toward Mr. Lewis.

"It was, short, but comfortable, give my compliments to your flight staff. And, should you find somewhere that fits Claire's description, mind letting me know, as well?" He chuckled, professional as Joel usually was, he was still a soldier, and if there was one thing they enjoyed, it was beer and a fight, not necessarily in that order.

"Paris is the city of love, not fighting," Mr. Lewis chuckled.

"Ay, but how can any good love story not begin with a good drink and a good fight? Was me mum's left hook that caught me pop, right across his chin. Knocked him head o'er heels for her it did," Claire laughed putting her fists up and jabbing in the air a few times.

Joel chuckled as he looked back over toward Claire, watching the woman, he'd gotten a good feeling about her from the video he'd watched her put up, but he figured now even moreso that he would get along with her during their time aboard the Orient Express.

"I can't remember any starting that way, but I can certainly imagine it." Joel laughed along with her, shifting his gaze back to Mr. Lewis. "Don't worry though, we'll try to avoid any bad press for you."
@Lady Amalthea
I'll probably pm you my post with Joel to colab soonish.
You used the actor for Jean Luc Picard for Emanuel....

Lucan Cauldwell

Location: The Crossed Swords Tavern
Interacting With: There's a lot of people, okay?

"Persephone? Aye, i'll go - Arseling might find a way to stink up the place if heads back upstairs." Lucan smirked in a self-amused manner at his new name for Keystone, shifting on the stool he sat on, he moved to stand up properly, shifting his belt slightly as he moved to the stairs. His little nickname for Keystone wasn't one with any intended offence, nor was it one with any degree of real mocking, Lucan simply found the name especially apt considering his experience of Keystone so far - which was little more than making a horrid stench.

Getting to the top of the stairs, Lucan moved along the hall until he found the room he'd spotted Persephone disappear into the night before. Reaching down with one hand, he tried the handle. Expecting it to be locked however, he reached up with his free hand in the same movement to knock on the door audibly, not exactly being gentle in his attempts to rouse Persephone as he called through the door.

"C'mon, Seph, sun's up and there's money to be made!" He continued to bang on the door and shift the handle, listening for any signs of movement on the other side of the door. Admittedly, Lucan had been reluctant to join the group at first, but after the much-needed company of a woman and a good night's sleep, he was honestly beginning to look forward to what lay ahead - and as a result, he was making his eagerness known in his efforts to rouse Persephone.
I'll probably make the skip to Ops in a day or so, so try to make sure you guys have all got your organization done, and start on colabs if you're doing them!
@Wade Wilson
Considering i'm Australian, do I still count enough as English? I still get all the tea and crumpets down here!
@Lady Amalthea
I haven't, but I just watched the trailer - good god this looks magnificent.
@Lady Amalthea
I feel like you're trying to trick me into thinking he's not evil by using the glorious Sir Patrick Stewart.
