Bio

Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste discerning in his choice of ramen. I'm a Canadian student currently living in Germany to do my Masters. I enjoy sports, martial arts, reading, writing, videogames and draw inspiration from all of these for my roleplays.

As for RPs, I like many different topics but only ever join one or two at a time. Any more than that, and I run out of time to write, so my quality really starts to slip. The upside of this is that I almost never drop an RP unless everyone else deserts it. If you see me apply to yours, it probably means I'm in for the long haul.

Lilly Jatmoore

When Lilly arrived at the house, the assault was already underway. Webber and Sykora had succeeded in clearing the main room, and were currently trading shots with the Imperials defending the rear hallway. She dragged Hexner over behind a table, and began checking her for injuries. The poor girl was shaken up and looked pretty out of it, but she didn't see any serious (or treatable) injuries. When their lancer stumbled through the door, it was quickly apparent that she had not been as fortunate despite her extra armour. "Miss Durandal!" Lilly rushed over to her as she collapsed, panicking. "Whats wrong?! Where are you hurt?!" She tried to remember the basic first aid training they had gotten and how she had treated the imperials back at the coach house as she examined her for wounds.

Durandal's armour had taken the majority of the blast it seemed, as the girl didn't have many deep cuts... but the sharp cries of pain she occationally got as she pressed on an arm, leg or rib indicated that all was definitely not well. The girl either had deep bruising or broken bones, and judging by her coughing up blood, some kind of internal bleeding as well. Oooh what to do?! What should she do? She tried using her ragnaid, bathing Durandal in it's healing blue light, but all it managed to do was help alleviate the pain and heal some of the cuts. Only engineers and medics carried the stronger radnaid capable of healing internal injuries. Wait, that was it! "Sorry, Miss Hexner, but we need your ragnaid!" The poor girl still seemed out of it, so Lilly rooted through the engineer's bag herself. Sure enough, there was a much larger charge of ragnaid packed away, which she quickly used to try to heal Durandal's internal injuries.

"Does that feel any better, Miss Durandal? Are you alright?" At the hall, the fighting intensified and Lilly didn't know if Sykora and Webber could hold back the rest of the imps in the house until the others got here without her help. She wanted to stay with Durandal and Hexner, who would still need time to recover (even if they weren't in immediate danger of dying), but she needed to help Webber and Sykora before they were overrun. A dead Imperial lay a short distance away from them, so Lilly hurried over to his corpse, looted his SMG and extra magazines and returned to where their two wounded were. "Here take this. Miss Hexner, Miss Durandal, please stay in cover. We'll get a proper medic to you shortly, just make sure no Imperials sneak up behind us." Before she returned to the hallway, she grabbed a spare grenade out of Hexner's pack. "Sorry, Miss Hexner, but I will need to use this."

Ok, Lilly... Focus. What's the plan? You're two soldiers down, and no one has come to assist yet... Another dozen bullets flew through the door, forcing Webber and Sykora back into cover. The Imperial attack was intensifying, and when she traded her own shots, she saw a few of them pushing up the hall towards them. They were getting too close! They needed to push them back! Lilly's pulse quickened and she quickly told her group the plan she had formulated. "O-ok! Listen to me, please! We need to push up and at least clear the closest room. Miss Sykora, do you still have a grenade? I am going to throw mine to f-force the imps into cover. Once I do, p-please use yours to clear the next room up. We need to keep the imperials away from the front hall. W-webber, when she is clearing the room, we'll cover her. Um... Does everyone understand? Alright..." Lilly whispered a quick prayer, charged her grenade, and threw it down the hallway towards the cluster of imps at the end. *KABOOM!* "That's it! ATTACK! MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!!!"

PFC Snider

Snider was cowering behind the tank, praying to the Valkyrur for deliverance as shells landed nearby. For an eternity, it seemed like he was going to die here, but his prayers were answered when Hunt came charging through the smoke and dust, to grab him by the collar and drag him across the street to cover. Old war stories were full of tales of soldiers dragging the wounded to cover, and the wounded almost always would be helping by shooting back at the enemy with their sidearm. There was none of that 'glory' to be had for the concussed, though. Snider's head was pounding, his ears were ringing, and his vision was so blurry he barely recognized Hunt when he came to save him. When they made it across the street and into the house, he managed to let out a weak "Thankzcorporal..." before slumping into a state of semi-consciousness from his wounds and concussion.

Lilly Jatmoore

"That's it! Keep shooting! You're doing great, Sykora. Webber." The plan had worked well, and they managed to push up and clear the first room, and were currently trying to make their way to the second. During a brief pause in the firing, Lilly ducked into cover, and radioed Hunt. "Mr. Hunt! We've cleared half of the house's ground floor, but we need help. Durandal and Hexner are wounded and need a medic. We need more people if we want to take this-" An explosion echoed from the street outside, and Lilly remembered the tank being destroyed. She hadn't heard anything on the radio since the artillery came in. What if they had been caught in it too... What if... Control yourself, Lilly. He'll be fine. You've got to worry about your own team for now. Still, she had to ask. "... Take this house. ... What's your team's status? Do you have any wounded?"
@Zarkun
Its gonna be a couple days before I can post, guys. University is picking up.
@Zarkun I think we've gone through about 3 snipers by now?

EDIT: Yup, 3 snipers. Role confirmed for curse.
lol why responsible for so many events? then again, snipers anywhere are quite vital in most situations...

Ack, just forget I said anything. My meaning was unclear, and I'm having difficulty figuring out ways to clarify it.
@Raven_Operative
lololol, cool thanks. I'll watch shadowchaos or something, those guys are pretty good at anime strategy games. And thanks! Any recommended classes?

We're sticking to the classes from the first game, with hybrid classes splashed in there to allow people to do more than one thing.

We actually have a decent split of classes right now, so you can really pick what ever.

I just wouldn't suggest you pick sniper unless you're OK with writing posts that have minimal input from the other players. As a frontline soldier, players can interact with you, but if you're a sniper hiding in the back you'll be responsible for 90% of the events you write about in your post. Some players have a problem with that but if you're fine with it, it's all cool.
Um is there any way a total new person to the game can join? If not, is there any videos recommended to watch to figure out how the game logic works and such? I've seen the game a few times before but never fully understood it.

Uuuuh, I have no issues with you joining but you'll probably be 100% lost if you don't know at least a BIT of the lore. I'd recommend you take a look at this page: http://valkyria.wikia.com/wiki/Valkyria_Chronicles

And maybe watch a playthrough on youtube up till the end of chapter 4, just to get an idea of what's been going on in the world. That's about where we are in the 'official timeline', though keep in mind we are mostly doing our own thing. You'll definitely want to at least see the intro cutscene, just to have an idea about the background of the setting.

If you're still interested after reading through some of that, let me know. We'll figure out a place to drop your character in. After what happened with skeptic a while ago, I think I'll just end up having your character be an unannounced member of one of the fireteams. That way you dont have to wait a month until we manage to write our way back to base.
I will get a post around probably tomorrow
Although, to be honest, no idea what has really been happening, going to base it off Zarkun's most recent post

We had a timeskip to the last major fight our squad will be involved in. If you read my latest post, that should fill you in on just about everything you need to know.

Ask and you shall recieve, Zark. Who's still here? Yeah I know some of you just posted, I just went down the CS list.
Alright, it's the weekend. How's everyone doing?
@Zarkun is just dying on the inside after putting up with me.
