Hackmon is the rookie of Jesumon.
Given how the other chosen ones were treated in Young Hunters, and Jesumon being considered the leader of the Knights and ultimate defender of the digital world, our current bet is that the 2015 anime will revolve around getting Hackmon to digivolve - or finding a new digidestined/gogglehead to make Hackmon digivolve.
If nothing else, we probably can't be disappointed when the anime is released: either we're right and had months to brace ourselves, or we're wrong and may instead find the plot refreshing and well-written much to our relief and joy.

In our defense, we saw the release of Gankuumon and Jesumon, the fanservice-y female Olympians (I'm looking at you "Hysteric Mode vs. Wrath Mode"), BelleStarrmon, and Young Hunters. I'm only optimistic because I'm kind of stupid.
