Of course Octavia sat beside Astolfo. She hadn't been certain of who to 'talk' with first, but she was glad he was interested. He talked a lot, but he seemed so nice about it! He'd mentioned being a gamer - Octavia had played a few and only seemed to excel at the online ones (she could play most Call of Duty songs) but maybe he could recommend a few games for once they escaped. Or a few soundtracks. That seemed more fun and challenging.

She pulled out a napkin from the nearby dispenser and scribbled on her order before holding it up: 'Gravy fries and peppermint tea would be great.' Hey she did ask, and Octavia figured it wasn't that bad. Once Edie got her order, she pulled out a new napkin, wrote, and held it up for Astolfo to read.

'So you play games? Any favorites?' She'd been tempted to add in about game soundtracks but maybe now wasn't the right time. When she could pull out her violin and play.

Morgan Oakley

"Up for it indeed. I'll check the kitchen immediately." M bowed with a flourish, not caring if Edie noticed. Had to keep up showmanship, after all. M kept on the smile, even at Silas' response, up until m passed the doorway into the kitchen.

Morgan sauntered into the kitchen, briefly lost in thought as m surveyed the room. Lighting was good, fairly open, one person, lots of food-

Wait.

M looked again. "Dieter, was it?" M was certain he was, but it tended to put people at ease by sounding uncertain. Certainty could be frightening. "...well, I suppose poison isn't an effective form of torture, so I doubt you've done anything to the food. Besides eating it, perhaps?" Not that m saw any sign of that.

Whistling, Morgan walked to the fridge and opened it. Interesting selection of drinks. M located the jug of ice tea in the back, pulled it out - and then it was gone. Smiling, Morgan walked back to the kitchen entrance and called loudly, "Sorry, no ice tea." That done, m turned on the coffee maker, opened up several of the cabinets, and began pulling out a few things - biscuit mix, popcorn kernels, and so on - and generally acting as though m had not noticed Dieter at all - Morgan suspected he would prefer that.

Natsuki

Name: Natsuki Araki (Eng.)

Age: 16

Appearance:

Personality: Contemptuous, curt, and cold, Natsuki is difficult to deal with even on a good day. He seems to automatically assume he is superior to everyone and is amazingly easy to irritate, demanding retribution for perceived slights. The quickest ways to piss him off to homicidal levels are to grab him unexpectedly and to call him 'Nat'. Despite his explosive displays of emotions, he is on the whole fairly stoic. He carries a notepad around everywhere, jotting down notes and fairly complicated battle plans. He may actually be cunning with razor-sharp focus, but it's buried under his belligerence and refusal to believe anyone can be competent. He especially has a bone to pick with Fuyuki and with Uncle Daiki. Oddly, despite his tough guy demeanor, right down to the snake ear cuff and rolling his own cigarettes, he's vegetarian.

Backstory: The twin to Fuyuki, the two split up at 6 due to their parents divorcing and Natsuki went with his father. His father ended up moving in with 'Uncle' Daiki, a close business partner of his in a medical research company, and his wife, 'Aunt' Ying. By his 10th birthday, it was just the three males in the house. By the time he met his twin once more in junior high school, he had developed his cynical and distrusting attitude. He didn't even graduate; he got expelled for attempting to drown a fellow member of the swim team. His father ended up getting him an internship at his company, and Natsuki began keeping a nocturnal schedule, wandering the streets when not sleeping or working. He joined a street gang, learning how to fight with his fists and plan on the fly - something he was surprisingly good at, despite on how he clung to his planning. He kept mostly to himself, excluding one incident with a fellow member who afterwards stopped showing up for fights. Then he ran afoul of a certain gunslinger...

Name/Species: Hagurumon

Appearance:

Personality: Hagurumon is very responsible, perhaps excessively so. If he is involved with something, he will take it upon himself to improve the situation and help as many beings as possible without employing lethal force. He's really reluctant to kill, though he's also clearly aware of how strong he can be. He's quite amicable, willing to talk to just about anyone, and certainly wouldn't mind a buddy to hang around with and have a drink or two and a hand of Texas Hold'em. He does attempt to be respectful, but his patience and good humor can only be pushed so far, especially when it interferes with his attempts to help. Once he loses respect, he has no issue making it clear. He rarely speaks of his past, but he has mentioned he wants to make up for his mistakes.

Backstory: Ever since hatching, he wanted to travel the Digital World. Upon digivolving to Deputymon, his restlessness became unbearable and he left his hatching village to realize his dreams. This included getting rip-roaring drunk, causing problems in towns, scamming people, gambling, stealing, and more. When the war between the Olympians and Knights flared back up, he ended up joining the Olympians' side, as Arcutomon. In his final battle, he was the only survivor and left so rattled, he ran. He continued fleeing Knightly authority and attempts to be captured for deserting, right until he fell into the real world.

Evolution Line: Kapurimon > Hagurumon > Deputymon > Arcutomon > Magnukiddmon > Avengekiddmon

Powers/Abilities: Kapurimon: Howling Hertz (generates a resonance between its two horns, creating a sound wave that may stun a Digimon)

Fuyuki

Name: Fuyuki Kusachi (Eng.)

Age: 16

Appearance:

Personality: Few are so open to friendship and charity as Fuyuki. He is willing to chat up a total stranger (which is how he got his inner circle of friends) and is apparently impossible to depress him. Sure, he can be a bit ditzy and easily confused, and he is almost completely oblivious to subtle romantic gestures and rivalries, but he has a very firm grasp on common sense and so usually can avoid doing or experiencing harm. He enjoys trying a little bit of everything when he can but has excelled most in athletic sports that require agility. He's a good listener even if he's not great with advice; that said, he's also a terrible secret-keeper and liar so don't share anything that absolutely must stay secret. His sociability and cheerfulness, combined with his desire to make people happy and multitude of contacts, means he can be relied on to actually accomplish some rather impressive tasks, from coordinating group meetings between incompatible people to retrieving stolen items from the black market.

He didn't think much of it at the time - even when his mother introduced her new boyfriend to him, he said hi and asked his mother what his father thought of him. It took a couple of years for Fuyuki to accept he wasn't likely to see his birth father or twin ever again, and a few more months to completely warm up to his stepfather. Once he did, though, he began learning kendo from his stepfather and attended his dojo. Over the years, he began accumulating a rather large amount of friends from his school, his soccer team, and the kendo dojo, mostly due to his sociability and desire to make people happy. When he learned Natsuki was transferred to his school, he was overjoyed, right until the moment he botched introductions and got Natsuki nicknamed 'Natty'. Despite his efforts, Fuyuki couldn't get Natsuki to reconcile with him. After entering high school, Fuyuki, through his many social connections, got invited to a party, where a girl asked him to hook up with her. He agreed out of a desire to make her happy - and it happened again. Soon Fuyuki wondered if his newer friends liked him for his personality, his sports skills, or his willingness to do just about anything to make people happy. Not that he let it bring him down. Hey, as long as people were happy, so was he.

Name/Species: Pickmon

Appearance:

Personality: Pickmon is a very good Royal Knight. She will enforce local laws, even if she personally disagrees with them; she's loyal and obedient to the Inner Circle of Knights; she is difficult to distract from a task; and she will try to put order in places where none exist. Frankly, her only true problem is that she is female in a male-oriented organization, fighting a war against a group known for its legends about the horrors inflicted upon women who are not in their favor. Thus, she conceals her gender as much as she can, only willing to share if she believes the information will not threaten her. That said, her dedication to order can make her come across as harsh and overbearing as well, and it is difficult to disprove first impressions to her.

Backstory: Growing up in a large city in the Digital World, Pickmon's knew little of chaos and crime. The Knights and their supporters saw to that, keeping the large city safe. The Royal Knights were her heroes and she wanted little more than to someday fight alongside them. When she digivolved to Starknightmon, she tried to request to squire for one of the Knights, only to be harshly turned down - female digimon shouldn't be fighting in war, after all. When the next massive conflict broke out, she saw her chance. She fought, managing to successfully slay many Olympian-sided digimon on her own, and digivolved to Lordknightmon. She then returned to the Knights, who had lost several of their own, and presented herself as male and willing to fight. She was accepted, and began to stay on her own to avoid discovery. When they needed war criminals captured, Lordknightmon volunteered, as an excuse to keep her distance. She soon ended up on the trail of one of the bloodiest criminals from the Olympians - Arcutomon.
