@Cassowarysaur Oh yeah, that was the case. I was kinda surprised by how quickly I got jumped actually.
I got closer to understanding who my character is and in good sniper fashion, did nothing for the entire battle.

Except for mess up the heavy hitter. You are the sniper in the shadows, I now seem to be the tank of the group by default...
Kyle had been hanging back while Rhiannon and Caden talked. It seemed like they were hitting it off pretty well. Or at least Caden was more interested in her than what Kyle had said... Either way the facility seemed extensive enough, though Kyle would have to see if there was a firing range onsite or not, and the others had asked most of the questions he was interested in.

Rhiannon soon gave Kyle an opportunity to join in again. "I hope we don't use our abilities with all these training regimes." She said as they walked around a modern looking dojo."Although I guess that would be wasteful, we can only use them so much. Speaking of which, what variety do we have in our team? I'm guessing you already know."

"Well, I've been modified to move faster. Run faster, climb faster, text faster, that sort of thing. And I'm actually hoping we can use our abilities a lot when training. We need to be as familiar as possible with our abilities if we are going to use them effectively. If nothing else, we need to get our endurance up for those dire situations. Not to say that we shouldn't expand on our other skills. I used to work with the Police Department, and they hammered home the need to us to be versatile."

Edit: And now that we have a bunch of folks waiting for the mock battle to be over, I'm now taking votes on whether it should end prematurely or not.

I'm willing to have a the fight end prematurely or just have the winner declared and have a last post to act out the "Kayfabe" of the fight. We have so many players just sitting and twiddling their thumbs and the outcome of this fight isn't really critical to the overall "Defense Against the Cruxi" aspect of the RP that I feel keeping the story moving and all the players engaged is more important than hashing out the fight.

Uh regarding the recent post...how did the Anzu get from Zone E to A in one post? Or did I read the map wrong somewhere...

We can move two zones per turn if we don't attack during that turn. Traveling from E to A through F is legal to my knowledge. The only exception to that rule is if you try to travel through Zone G. You have to stop in Zone G, which only has room for one Framewerk, and that is where the Archer is right now.

Krista realized her major mistake in taking off before Romeo could reply: lack of coordination.

"I don't mind, and if you have a shot then take it- But WAIT for me to get in PLACE!"

She kicked herself for making such a simple mistake, especially when they had been working so well together. Mai didn't seem so amused either.

"...inefficient. You'll be shot in an instant and I'm "Seven", not Mai", Mai droned on the line.

Still, the Setsuka pulled out a pair of Framewerk sized handguns and start moving into position. Before the Setsuka could get a clean shot, the stone pillar the Anzu was hiding behind erupted into a fireball. The smoke and fire obscured the Anzu until Yeshua proved Mai right, firing another round at the Archer. With nowhere to go, she could do nothing as the shot went straight through the front right shoulder joint before lodging itself in the Archer's side armor.

Staggering around, trying to stabilize the Archer with the dead weight of the leg without falling off the tower, Krista spotted the Anzu making a dash for it. It was a perfect shot, all things considered. The target was running directly away from her position. She brought her main gun around and zeroed in on her target before pulling the trigger out of reflex... causing a message to appear in her HUD.

"Prometheus System Rebooting. Stand By."

Krista swore. Without the ability to fire her main gun, the best she could do for now was to call out where the Anzu was headed.
Sorry about not posting last night, I should be able to get one out tonight.
@LHG100 I will admit that I am the kind of guy that takes great enjoyment out of over-analyzing the living hell out of any narrative work, so there is also that.
Written my post. I would've posted it earlier if it was not for family matters. I hope I haven't done too much without letting my attackers get a reaction.

Also, I finished watching ATTACKO UN TITANO today. It was alright. The animation, actually, was not at all smooth and the moral was . . . "To beat monsters, we must let go of our humanity"? What kind of messed up message is that to take away from such a popular show?

Oh that's not the half of it. When it first came out peeps thought it was a metaphor for a (at the moment strictly political) conflict China and Japan were having over a series of islands. While I don't think "To beat monsters, we must let go of our humanity" is the exact moral, I do read a heavily militaristic message in the series. Later chapters introduce some ambivalence to that theme though.
