His fist smoldered with a clean, filtered smoke. As he held the shoulder of his attack arm, he peered through blast and noticed a wall of pink ascending in front of him. A mildly, cocky smirk splayed on his face. Though fear seemed to mingle in his eyes as he hesitated to retreat or take it head on.

Shit!

That thought, along with him, was consumed by the shrapnel of magic. The petals felt nothing like they looked. Inside the wave of pink, he felt his clothes and skin tear. With a urge from his frustration, pain, and disappointment; Isshum rocketed himself out the spell and hovered several meters above Hana. Flames poured from his soles, warming the space beneath him. Not a bit of defeat rested in his eyes as he stared down at his opponent.

Delicately, he touched the hot blood that pooled down the side of his face. Wind touched him briskly on his back and left leg, places where his clothes no longer resides. A light chuckle left his smile. “God you’re good. I gotta admit, I overestimated myself a little.”

“Still though, this doesn't mean I’m done. I'm far stronger than this!” He let a small flame lick the air from his lips, his blue eyes narrowing into slits with his rising excitement.

“I probably should stop though,” he said suddenly, lowering himself to the ground. Once on the floor he kept from touching the pained parts of his body, mostly anywhere that had been sliced from Hana’s petals. “Hana … how’d you get so strong? The way you control your magic is pretty badass.”

He’d never admit it. But he had his own reasons for not continuing the fight.

A smirk flashed across his countenance as the pink petals swirled around Hana fitly. Just falling short of a sphere. It was a sphere of defense and offense, one that he recognized almost immediately. Even so, he had tenacity and luck on his side. He wouldn’t stop this battle until he proved his worth.

“It’s everything to me! Simple as that. It’s my dreams and hopes.”

Speaking those words had not kept him from inching back from Hana’s impressive display of magic. Step by step, he moved away from her. When the Last Samurai had announced her attack and her petals shot forth like coral-colored bullets, Isshum was quick and primal in his movements. He launched backwards from the earth, touched ground a second later, and slid out of the attacks path.

An explosion burst forth from his soles, increasing his speed as the petals decimated the trees and earth behind him. With a hand he arced himself around, tearing the ground up in the process. Isshum’s fist roared with fire as he quickly came upon Hana and with a sudden, abrupt stop, extended his fist inches from Hana’s barrier and detonated the magic in her face.

"Point-Blank Canon!"

The fire roared to life and consumed the barrier.
@Raijinslayer Don't be a dick bro lol. Isshum could totes last ten. And Vi, well she could six ... at the most lol.

Released from his imprisonment, Isshum stood up and let the fire between his palms die. He turned towards Vivi with a fist on his side, his face scrunched in disapproval. “I’m not going down that easy, Vivi. You gotta have faith in the future hero of Fiore. After I beat her, you'll have to bow to me and they won’t have a choice but to recognize me as an S-Rank.” He muttered the last part. “A-Rank at the least.”

He slam his fist into his palm as he waddled out the door with large, bulky steps. “Don’t lecture me woman! You guys know I don’t like that crap! Now let’s go!” he barked, stepping outside of the guild.

When she wasn’t right behind him, Isshum spoke again. “Now woman!”

Once Hana had joined him, prepared and ready to fight, Isshum began the long track out of the city and into the dusk-colored forest boarding the town. It would be there that they would fight he decided. Though it wasn’t ideal, Isshum had gotten good enough to keep a wildfire from happening. Might be best to say he’d always been cautious of starting such a destructive event. Its been an instinctive restriction that he’d never understood. But at least there he could get his fight.

As they approached a rather dull clearing, with only a few trees around them. Isshum widened his stance, brought his hands to his side as if gripping a staff, and formed a long hatchet. With a wide swing, he lengthen the handle and seared the trees in half. One after the other they fell with powerful thumps to the ground.

The hatchet burst into ambers as Isshum released the magic and turned to Hana. “Alright! let's kill some time together, Hana-taichou! The Wild Brilliance and the Last Samurai! Today a hero will be born from fiery spirits!”

It was over before it had even begun. Trapped within the pink-petals of sharp death, Isshum could only feel the overwhelming calm that dripped from Hana’s smiling face. Defeat was comically on his face. With wide white eyes, sweat falling from his face, and his arms tight to his side; he had official given up. The soft whirling of the vortex betrayed its intentions.

“I don’t have time for later!” he yelled from inside. “I need the title of Hero now. I’ve waited ten years already, I won’t let another go by!”

The smell of Hana’s magic filled his senses but he still had an image of where she was. Knowing Hana, she was so confident in her ability to beat him that she wouldn’t move even if he threw his strongest attack at her. Even still, he knew when he was beat and gave up, sitting down on the ground criss-cross.

“Let me out dammit,” he muttered, putting the side of his chin on his fist. “I’m not as strong as Natsu or that other guy but dammit … I’m a fire dragon slayer just like them. I can become hella strong too.”

As he waited, he put his hands together in his lap and begun to form sparkling flames. The light of a firecracker snapped between his palms. It made him smile genuinely. Fire can make people smile too. I know it can.

@j8cob
@j8cob lol I knew he would. Isshum is different from Sable so his reaction will be funny
@Demon Grave Just roleplay him like you'd normally do. If he'd smile and laugh, than that in itself makes him unique and awesome. He could clap and cheer them on lol.

Daiki nodded once. Unsure of Saburo’s sincerity, his smile, made him feel on guard. Even more so than usual. It honestly made him feel indecisive about everything. His emotions, his goals, his identity, which was already the source of so much chaos in his life. He remained quiet as they took off through the streets, the whole while scrutinizing Yuen’s and Saburo’s behavior. Had growing up in a wholly fear clan made them different in anyway? Saburo was sort of an exception but Yuen … well...

From the way she carried herself, the way she spoke. He didn’t know if many realized it but she viewed herself with weakness. She saw every shortcoming as a crippling liability. He narrowed in on her. Was it because she grew up in a clan of lore-inspiring shinobi. He frowned at the thought. It had been years since an Uchiha had been legendary; it was probably because of people like Yamato. Those that viewed the clan with overdue caution and fear.

If the 11th corps could bring me strength. Then I’ll change that outlook. I don’t want anyone treating me differently because of my blood. That’s pretty damn annoying. He believed that to be one of the reasons he had disliked Yamato. Their discrimination towards kekkai genkai users were infamous. But ultimately ignored.

Landing with muted footfalls, Daiki walked passed Saburo and looked towards the apartment complex. The evening breeze brushed outside the two strands that fell from his otherwise ruffled and spiked hair. Though he had a feeling, Saburo was quick to confirm his suspicions. Missions that usually involved civilians, or a horde of innocent, was majority stealth.

Daiki returned to the team with his arms folded, stepping up to Yuen. He looked down at her and faintly smiled. For the most part, he hated to see another in pain. The other part was, he felt, if only a little, obligated to help his family. He raised a brow at her, thinking of the words to string together. When he found them four seconds later, he unfolded his arms and placed it onto her head. It was gentle, probably a bit invasive but it was what he felt was best.

“This is easy. You got this. Saburo, I’m off.” A start was all he need to sail from the building and effortlessly grab hold of the apartment complex.

Once he was positioned, he awaited with a mild interest at the window. He peeked inside, only to see the target walking around with a cup in his hand. The man’s TV was on an action movie. Daiki waited until the weakened sound of the knocks rapped against the door. As he became distracted, he slid into, snuck up on him and with a blunt chop to the neck. Before it would be delivered, Saburo and Yuen would seem appear rather ominously behind the man.

Daiki caught the man’s limp head with a hand, holding up his body from slouching on the ground. “Done and done.”

“Doubt it,” said Giichi as he messed around his headband numbly, tightly pulling it against his head. “If they do, they’d regret it. I always imagined me and the nine tails would get along. And if that’s what I need, then I’ll learn Sage jutsu myself and defeat them. It’s going to happen … its-Its what I want to do.” He looked ahead as he spoke, almost reliving the moment at the square. Both Yamato and Rei had abandoned him in that rain. If Ayame and Fujitora had decided to, he would have been dead.

He grew quiet afterwards, a visible tension covering him.

When Tatsuya arrived, the cheerful Giichi returned. Being on a team with a friend of the betrayer and an actual betrayer had put him into a sour mood. He smiled widely at the guy. “Nice,” he said with awe, looking at the spinning chakra blade. “Not top sure about that. Weapons don’t really suit me. Oh wait! Can you make special shurikens?”
@Raijinslayer I've disturbed, murder, and buried the peace in the guildhall. lol.
